The week goes really smooth. I can't believe I have a boyfriend now, John is so sweet and caring. We talk on the phone till past my bed time, yes I have a bedtime because I have to wake up early the next day. He brings breakfast to my office and let me tell you what, he's an amazing cook. We haven't had time within the week to go on a date, so we scheduled one for today, Saturday.

He didn't tell me where we're going, he just told me to be ready by 6. I'm wearing a burgundy short skirt with a short sleeve white t-shirt but I cropped the sleeves and wore my vans. I styled my hair in a half up and half down style and braided two in front to fall on my face. I put on some gloss, mascara and moisturiser, I picked up my mini backpack and sprayed some perfume, I give myself a once over in front of the mirror
A-M:"damn girl you look beautiful"
I say to myself... When I get to my kitchen to drink some water, I hear the 'brown skin girl' by Beyonce ft Wizkid tune come from my phone which I placed on the island
A-M:"heyyy"
John:"hey beautiful, I'm outside"
A-M:"oh I'll be down in a minute"
I turn off the lights and lock my door, then hurry down. John is standing outside with a bouquet of lilies, my favourite. He's wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt with sneakers, he looks good. I lick my  lips and hug him, he smells so good
A-M:"thanks for the flowers, they're beautiful"
John:"I'm glad you like them babe"
He says and places a peck on my cheek, then he opens the front door for me
A-M:"I'm driving today"
John:"okay if that's what you want, I'll just direct you"
I take the key from him, hug him, place a soft kiss on his lip and run to the drivers side, he just shakes his head while laughing and straps in.
He directs me, and we end up on a cliff which overlooks the sea, it looks so great and we can see the sun setting from here
A-M:"the view is amazing"
John:"not as amazing as you... Come"
He says as we leave the car. That's when I notice there's a white and red checkered blanket on the floor, with snacks in a basket, wine and other stuff. It looks so beautiful, I turn and hug him tight and he lifts me and we stare into each others eyes as we kiss, it's slow and sensual, it feels really good, but it's not... Damn I can't be thinking about him now. John places me on my feet, then we settle on the blanket.

A-M:"there are people down there babe"

John:"yeah, every year, people come here to release lanterns by eight o'clock at night"

A-M:"wow, can we do that too? Where do we get the lanterns?"

John:"right here"

He says as he points to his side, where the lanterns are, he's smiling and I laugh and hug him again, then he pulls me into his lap, so I'm in a straddling position with my arms around his neck.

John:"wanna eat something?"

I nod, and he asks me to pull the basket towards him and he dishes a plate of spaghetti with me still on his lap and he insists on feeding me. We talk as we eat, we managed to reach a compromise, he feeds me and I feed him. When we're done eating, he dabs off the sauce from the corners of my mouth and I do same too. We talk some more, then we take selfies

John:"babe it's almost time, let's set up our lantern"

A-M:"okay, okay"

I feel so giddy about it. He gives me a marker to write our initials on the lantern, then we set up the burner and at 8pm sharp, we release it, and it floats up in the sky, I take pictures of our lantern. Then I watch as it joins the other lanterns in the Sky, the sight is breathtaking. I feel John hug me from behind

A-M:"thank you for bringing me here, it's so beautiful"

He spins me around to face him and we kiss again

John:"No, you are beautiful."

I giggle and turn back to watch the lantern, with his body this close to mine I feel warmed up even in the cold night.

We pack up the blanket, glasses, and every other thing he brought down here and load them up in his car. Then we sit on the hood of the car

John:"i wanted to ask you properly to be my girlfriend, the pizza setting wasn't really what I had in mind"

He chuckles and I grin

A-M:"okay, go on"

He gets down from the hood and stands in front of me with his hands on my waist

John:"Skai Anne-Marie Oreva Phillips, will you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?"

I put a finger on my chin and act like I'm thinking about it and he chuckles

A-M:"of course"

We laugh and he pulls me toward him, so he's standing between my legs and we kissssss...

I smell loooovvvveeee, but do you think she's completely over Massimo?
