The week pretty much goes the same, with massimo yelling at me every chance he gets. Even Tania noticed he was being particularly mean to me, I'm soo tired, there are bags under my eyes from working so late and sleeping even later.

I almost cried in front of him, I managed to compose myself and hold it in till I get to the restroom and calm myself down, I won't let him see my tears. I've worked harder than this before, I can do it, I hope.

Just when the work gets a bit less and I'm about to lean into my chair, the desk phone starts ringing, can't I get some rest around here?
Tania:"Ms Philips, someone is here to see Mr Valastro by the name Danielle Anderson"
When she addresses me this way, I know its official or important
A-M:"I'll just let him know"
Danielle is here? The wedding must be close then

I half expected him to, I don't know, maybe dismiss her, but I guess not, that made my heart pang with a little jealousy, but hey he's not mine, never has.
I let Tania know she can go to his office. She walks past my office and looks at me with a smug smile and I return it with my best fake smile.

They've been in there for a while and he hasn't even called me in once, to do more work or something. Why am I getting worked up? I let my head fall into hands
John:"what's wrong? Are you alright?"
A-M:"hey John, I'm fine, just a bit tired from all this work... How're you?"
John:"okay... I'm good too, just thought I'll drop by and see what you're up to. I haven't seen you in like forever"
A-M:"I'm so sorry John, I've been super busy, how do I make it up to you?"
John:"a date?"
He let's out a nervous laugh and scratches the back of his neck nervously, he's cute.
A-M:"is that blackmail Mr Harris?"
I playfully narrow my eyes at him and he raises both hands in defense, then we start laughing.
Massimo:"what are you doing here Mr Harris?"
I look up to see massimo glaring at John! With Danielle's hand hooked to his, her hair is a bit scattered and her lipstick is cleaned off, she has a satisfied smile on her lips as she smirks at me. Disgusting
John:"I uh..."
A-M:"he brought some files for you sir"
He's about to say something when Danielle cuts in
Danielle:"let's go sweetie, let them be"
She purrs at him, her voice sounds two pitches higher than how they sound naturally. He looks at me then lowers his head to kiss her while looking at me. Then He nods and that's when it clicks the fool wants to make me jealous, an idea pops up in my head and I smile. when they're about to completely walk out of my office
A-M:"I'll go on that date with you John"
Massimo freezes and turns to say something, anger radiating off him, but Danielle drags him and they soon walk off, but not before he glares at both John and i
John:"really?"
A-M:"yes"
