I haven't seen massimo all morning, I feel relieved but weirdly sad. I don't want to see him, but I miss him, this is officially the worst vacation ever. I'm bored out of my mind and to make matters worse, Chris had to attend to work, the meeting he came here for. So it's me alone with my thoughts. I have thought this whole situation through, over and over, the only reasonable decision is to get over him and let him go, it's better for both of us, I don't want to get my heart broken.

I'm done sitting here, brooding and pouting. I'm going to dress up and go out and have some fun! Yes that's what I'm going to do... On second thought, I should stay home, I don't want to add kidnapping to the list of my problems right now, i should probably wait for Charming.

In the meantime, let me call everyone, starting with my dad, then my mum, then Lava, then Jay, then Ace, then Emilia, then tania, then Jojo, then Sharon, then Paula, then I leave a message for ismerelda as she's in school... I'm so exhausted, Tania tried to probe me for details, but I told her to wait a little till I'm back home. I order pizza and get ice cream from the fridge, put on 'the notebook' and snuggle in the blanket on the comfortable couch and relax...
Massimo:"I see you're enjoying yourself"
I look away from the TV and stare at the handsome man infront of me
A-M:"yeah"
He nods
Massimo:"can I join you?"
A-M :"uh sure"
He shrugs off his suit and settles down beside me with a pizza slice in hand. We quietly watch the movie till the end. By the end I'm crying, I'm sure he heard the sniffles, because he turns and looks at me with an amused expression
A-M:"what?"
Massimo:"nothing"
He just stares at me and before I know it we're both leaning close and just when our lips are about to meet, I snap out of it
A-M:"excuse me"
I stand to leave, but he holds my hand
Massimo:"Anne-Marie, please wait"
I look at his hand on mine and he withdraws his hand, then I look at him
Massimo:"would you like to go somewhere with me?"
A-M :"where?"
Massimo:"dinner with my family"
A-M :"w-what?! No way"
Massimo:"please... As my friend?"
A-M :"if you put it that way, okay I'll go"
Massimo:"thank you"
A-M :"what of charming"
He clenches his teeth and looks away, then looks at me again, I can see many emotions in his eyes
Massimo:"don't call him that"
Oh that's it?
A-M:"why?"
Massimo :"just don't call him that... Please"
A-M :"okay?... What of Christian, isn't he coming?"
Massimo:"what is going on between you two? Are you two dating or something? Why do you act so friendly with him?"
A-M :"first of all, I don't think who I date or not is your business"
Massimo:"I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have"
He mutters an excuse me and goes to his room. What's his problem? He can't be with me, but he doesn't want anyone to be with me either? I roll my eyes and go to my room too to get ready for the dinner with his family later today.

I settle on a light pink, short sleeved dress that stops just above the knee, it has a halter neck, with lace detailing. I tie my hair up in a high ponytail and curl the ends, then I wear my favourite diamond studs earrings which my mum gave me as a birthday gift last year. I wear nude stilletos and a nude clutch, spray my perfume, apply little mascara and do a winged liner and my signature red lip. I give myself a once over infront of the mirror and I must admit I look good. I walk to the living area and wait for massimo to join me, about 5 minutes later he walks out dressed in all black. A black suit and pants, with a black dress shirt, no tie, First two buttons open and he looks like a hot meal. Damn!
He looks at me and gulps, he literally gives me the elevator look, you know when you look at someone from head to toe and I can see he likes what he's seeing
A-M:"see anything you like Mr valastro?"
Massimo:"yes, I like what I see, very much so" he says with a smile, still staring at me
I was expecting him to look away or deny the fact he was shamelessly gawking over me, but instead he's accepting, this man is nuts, there's definitely a screw missing
Massimo:"you look really beautiful Ms Phillips"
I blush
A-M:"thank you sir"
The moment I say sir, he looks at me with a pained expression and then after a while he gives me a tight smile
Massimo:"we should uh- get going"
A-M :"sure"
Massimo:"after you"
