I woke up really early to the sound of loud knocks at my door. For fucks sake it's just, what?, 6:30am! Arrggghhhh
I get to the door and when I check the peephole I see Ace, Omg he's back! All my anger flies out the window, my best bud is back! He travelled out for a few days, I've missed the pain in the ass.
I open the door and jump on him
Ace:"whoa! Someone is pretty excited to see me"
A-M:"oh shut up! How are you kiddo?"
Ace:"I'm a grown man Skai, you don't call me kiddo, I call you kiddo"
A-M:"whatever doofus. How was Seattle? And the meeting? Did you get it?"
Ace:"yes!"
I scream and hug him, I'm so proud of him.
When we're settled in, he gives me the breakdown of everything and how the meeting went. I thought being the boss meant less work, well it doesn't. Ace is so young, yet so accomplished and ever so humble. He graces magazines and interviews, dates hot super models and there's not a single proud bone in his body, I give it to him for being true to himself and not turning to an airhead.
A-M:"wait... Why didn't you go straight home? Or at least use your key to get in?"
Ace:"well Jay is gonna be here later today and you always have food, I don't want to starve woman! And what's the fun in using my own key, anyway?"
I roll my eyes
A-M:"well I'm going to the gym in less than 2 hours, so you'll just have to help yourself mister"
He starts laughing
A-M:"what's so funny?"
Ace:"you! What are you gonna do in a gym? Sit and watch the equipments?"
A-M:"watch it Ace Flynn!"
He raises his hands in surrender and takes his stuff to the spare room.
With nothing left to do, I get ready for the gym. When I'm done tying up my shoe lace, Ace walks in and plops himself on the couch. I walk to the fridge to get a glass of water, when the doorbell dings, Ace goes to answer the door...
Tania:"hi, I'm here to see Skai, is she in?"
Ace:"uhm y yeah, come in. I'm Ace, her best friend, well one of...I'll just go get her"
I roll my eyes, I know what Ace is thinking, but I won't let it happen. He will use Tania, and I can't lose the first female friend I have because of Ace's playboy ways.
Tania:"thank you... Oh nice to meet you, I'm Tania...okay"
While I'm rinsing the glass Ace walks in the kitchen
Ace:"you didn't tell me you have a hot friend"
A-M:"back off! I'm warning you Ace, no jokes!"
Ace:"please Skai"
A-M:"no and that's final, now move"
I walk out and hug Tania. Then I get my phone and water bottle and we're about to leave
Ace:"nice to meet you Tania. See you around?"
A-M:"no! Boy bye"
I shut the door, but I still hear him say 'come on!'
Tania :"he's hot"
A-M:"trust me you don't want that"
Tania:"well I'm just saying."
I shake my head and we get in her car and drive down to the gym.
Wow, I'm blown away by the number of hot guys in here. What?! I don't even know how to acttttttttt! Damn!
