The next day I wake up in time and I take my time dressing up, I decide to wear a red top and dark blue pencil skirt with a pair of black flats. I tie my hair in a low ponytail, for my face I decide on mascara, a small cat eyeliner, lip balm and blush.
I eat some cereal and not long after I'm on my way to work. In the taxi, I plug my ears and listen to some music, 'India Arie - worthy'. I love me some good music and her voice is so calming, just as the song comes to an end, we arrive at my office. I bump into John as we both rush in at the same time, we just laugh and hug, since he came to my office early this week, I haven't seen him
John:"seems each time I see you, you get even prettier, what's your secret"
A-M:"Omg John, it's way too early for the teasing, you're giving me way too much credit"
I say with a smile and I'm sure I'm blushing.
John:"what?! I wasn't teasing Skai, you really look beautiful this morning"
A-M:"thank you"
He walks me to the elevator
John:"I don't mind dropping you off at your place after work today, what do you say?"
A-M:"sure! That's fine, thank you"
He grins and I wave as I join the elevator and wait for it to reach my floor.
I get in my office, keep my purse on the table, then hurry to Mr valastro's office to organise his table before making his coffee. When I approach his door, I notice my top button was popped open, so I button up and give myself a once over in front of the mirror-like wall. When I walk in I see Mr valastro and I freeze, he's super early!
Massimo:"don't just stand there Ms Philips, did you need something?"
A-M:"uhm good morning sir, I just came in to organise your table"
Massimo:"ehmmn..."
A-M:"I'll be in my office then sir..."
I start walking out and when I'm almost at the door
Massimo:"and ms Philips, next time ensure you're properly dressed before you leave home...look to your right"
I turn to the right and the glass mirror-like wall is actually a see through glass wall, but it's one way, that is from inside you can see outside, but you can't see the inside from outside. At this point my mouth is actually touching the floor, how didn't I notice this? I'm so embarrassed.
A-M:"I'm so sorry sir... I'll just get your coffee"
I leave with what little dignity I have left, before he has a chance to reply. I can't believe this, thank God it was just a popped button, I have got to be more careful. I take his coffee to him and leave as fast as I could. I make it to my office and calm myself down, then reply some of Mr valastro's emails, one catches my eye and I wonder who she is, it's from a Danielle Anderson and she asked for them to meet somewhere to talk about the last time. Maybe it's ismerelda's mother, I forward the mail to him as it seems really personal. Work goes rather fast today  and before I know it, work is over for the day.
The week is over and I can't wait to enjoy my short weekend. John has been taking me home and i think we're becoming good friends now, as we carpool on our way home and all.
Tomorrow is gym day! I'm weirdly excited and I don't know why. I can't remember the last time I hit the gym, but I do remember the gym is a hot guys meeting place and I kind of feel that's Tania's reason for working out....i hope I don't pass out though.
