Jeff:"oh there you are, I see you've been able to talk your new catch into promoting you, right?"
A-M:"are you insane? How dare you make such preposterous claims"
He laughs
Jeff:"yeah right, you think no one has noticed your rendezvous with Mr Harris? I wonder how long you've been sleeping with him"
I completely lose it and slap him hard. Then I try to walk away, but he grips my arm really tight, I squirm and try to free myself from his grip.
Jeff:"you bitch!"
A-M:"let go of me Jeff, let me go or I'll scream"
He let's go and makes a move to walk away, then leans down to whisper in my ear.
Jeff:"A word about this to anyone and I will make your life so miserable, Mark my words"
I gulp and try to maintain my bold exterior, but inside I'm shaking. He bumps my shoulder and walks off. I can't believe that bastard, I run to the restroom and try to calm myself down a little. I look at myself in the mirror and I'm completely flushed.
I get to my desk and start packing up my personal items as I won't be working on this floor anymore. Right now, I'm so glad I took that offer, I won't be running into Jeff.
John:"ready?"
A-M:"yeah"
John:"let me help you with that"
He takes the boxes out of my hands and starts walking ahead of me before I get the chance to thank him.
Today has been a very eventful day and I can't wait to get home, so I can rest.
When I get to John's car, I rest my head on the window and I sleep off.
I feel someone tapping my shoulder and I open my eyes and someone's face is really close to mine, I panic and bump our foreheads. He groans, I look up and I see its John.
A-M:"Omg I'm so sorry"
He just nods and places his hand on his forehead. After a while we burst out laughing.
Ace:"what's going on here?"
A-M:"nothing! Ace what are you doing here?"
He's staring at John with an intimidating stare, I notice it's making John uncomfortable, I swat Ace's hand.
Ace:"owww! What did you do that for?"
A-M:"Ace meet John my boss, John meet Ace my best friend"
They shake hands and John leaves.
A-M:"why are you here? You know you could just move in already since you're here six out of seven times a week"
Ace:"really?"
A-M:"No!... So what is it this time"
I remove my shoes and walk off to the kitchen to get a drink.
Ace:"well, there's always food here."
He shrugs.
A-M:"Omg Ace, just get a cook or something. Right now my workload has doubled."
He looks confused, so I tell him about my day, excluding the Jeff part of course. After talking for a while, I go to bed. I'm so exhausted, I need a break.
