He lightly taps John on his shoulder, I can't take my eyes of him, he's so gorgeous, damn!
Massimo:"do you mind if I dance with her?"
I tense up and look at him and I notice even while talking to John, his eyes never left mine.
John:"uhm yeah sure sir"
He excuses himself and walks off to dance with some lady.
Massimo:"what's your name?"
A-M:"I'm skai Phillips sir"
Massimo:"hmmn, unusual name. So you work in my publishing house?"
A-M:"yes sir"
He simply nods and we continue dancing.
He's about to speak again when he's interrupted by a waiter informing him, his attention is needed. He excuses himself and walks away. He is so gorgeous! I catch myself drooling, I quickly walk off to the nearby bar to get a drink. Two drinks down and John joins me.
John:"are you ready to leave?"
A-M:"yes I am."
We walk out of the hall and into his car. He takes me home. He opens the door and walks me to my door.
A-M:"thanks for the evening, I had fun"
John:"I'm glad! See you tomorrow"
I smile and nod. He gives a small wave before turning around and walking to his car.
I can't help but go over the events of this evening in my head, while laying in bed. He is so gorgeous! Yet arrogant, rude, and when he walks, his strides carry so much grace. Argh! Even his walking steps are so sexy. I can only dream, right?
I need to get it together, it's already 1:15am, and I have work a few hours later.

**next morning**
I decide to go for a simple, yet daring look, a red pant suit, with a white camisole and black stilettos. Wow, I really look good! I'm really enjoying this new found confidence.
I walk out of my apartment and get in a taxi. Half an hour later and I arrive at the office. I get a few compliments, from "you look really nice skai" to "red is definitely your colour". I simply smile back or answer with a thank you, finally I'm in my cubicle. As expected there's a huge pile of manuscripts waiting for me. I get straight to the tasks in front of me.
Time sure goes by fast, I've been so engrossed in my work I forgot to get lunch and I'm really craving some food.
John:"hello... whoa you really look good in red."
A-M:"uhm...Thank you sir"
John:"nonsense! Drop the sir, you know my name skai... Anyway, I didn't see you at the cafeteria, so I decided to get you some lunch".
A-M:"you didn't have to! Thank you"
John:"anytime. I have to get back to my work. Don't overwork yourself"
Louisa:"Mr Harris, I'm done with reviewing the files, here they are"
John:"oh let's go to my office then"
She glares at me, before following John to his office.
Louisa is the office witch! Every office has one or two. She has a thing for John and she feels she needs to mark her territory, like I'm interested in John. I scoff.
