Rob checked his phone again for Chance's location when he noticed Tim's was no longer visible. He called Austin's phone, no answer. "That's weird" he said.

"What is" Adam asked as he was pulling into another car rental agency.

"Tim's phone is no longer on the radar and Austin isn't answering his" Rob replied.

They both looked at each other "Maybe they found him" Adam remarked, "where does it show they are located".

Rob looked at the phone tracking again, all he could see at first was Austin's and it showed them not far from a waterfront pier. Suddenly, Chances' phone appeared, not far from where Austin's was located. "Holy shit" Rob exclaimed, "there is Chance's phone, they are practically on top of each other!"

"Let's start heading this way. I'll watch it on my phone and use yours to keep trying to contact them" Rob told him as he took Adam's phone from the cup holder.

Austin had left his phone in the car, he had no idea that Rob was trying to get ahold of them. Tim was sitting at the base of the tree, holding his head down on his knees, covering it with his arms as Austin paced around, running his fingers through his hair, trying desperately to figure out how they were going to find Chance.

Tim had no idea how he was going to tell Chance, if he ever found him, nor how he was going to explain any of this to his family. The one real piece of hope they had for help was gone. And now Tim highly doubted that the other hospital would help either. 'I can't fix this' he kept thinking to himself.

Chance had checked his phone quickly before he left the pier shortly after his meeting. He walked back to his rental car and headed a bit further south. He knew Tim would be tracking his phone, he'd known for some time that Tim had set that up so he could keep tabs on him. He was fine with it, in fact he was relieved but for now he needed this time alone. He then shut the phone back off. He felt a bit guilty not telling the guys what he was doing or where he was going. He knew they would want to go with him, especially Tim.  He knew he would be facing quite an inquisition when he returned but he didn't know how much longer he had before everything would be lost. 

His own thoughts and fears began to overcome him. He stopped at a scenic overlook to calm himself. As he reached for his camera, he was reminded of the envelope under it. 'No, not now' he said to himself as he pushed it down further inside the bag.

Rob had tracked Austin's phone to the area of the pier. As Adam pulled up they found both Austin and Tim sitting on the ground against the tree, staring off. They looked at each other, fearing for the worst.

"What's going on guys? Why are you here on the ground? Are you ok?" Rob quickly asked as he and Adam approached the two.

Tim was muttering "It's over, it's all over. I failed, yet again. I can't fix this" as he covered his head with his arms again.

"What are you talking about, did you find Chance? " Adam asked as his fear intensified. He wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer.

"Does it look like we found him" Tim responded sharply.

"We tracked his phone to a pier in this area just after we found your phone location, Austin. You weren't answering when I tried calling and Tim's was no where to be found. We thought maybe you had found him when you didn't answer" Rob explained.

"Are you kidding me," Austin yelled "he's been that close this whole time we've been dealing with this other bullshit."

"What are you talking about, you guys are rambling but not telling us anything " Adam yelled back.

"Guys, guys let's all calm down. We're not doing anyone any good by yelling back and forth" Rob said.

Austin quickly explained the phone call Tim received from the clinic. Adam pulled Tim up from the ground "we will find him" he told him as he looked into tear filled eyes. "He needs to know, Adam. His family and Dr. need to know too" Tim said as he wiped his eyes on his sleeve. 

Rob's phone was in his pocket, it vibrated with an alert. It was Chance's phone. "Guys, the tracker is showing his phone. He's turned on the phone again. It shows him about 30 miles south of here, still along the coastline."

"Let's go, if we don't find him in the next few hours, we will need to notify Luke that he's missing" Adam said solemnly.

"I don't want that son of a bitch anywhere near him" Tim snapped again.

"Neither do I Tim but right now we have to do everything possible to find him. He could be in danger. If he has an episode while he's alone, there's no telling what may happen" Adam stated as they all ran to their cars.

"We'll follow you, I won't be able to talk to you and track him at the same time" Austin told them.

"Where's Tim's phone?" Rob asked as he opened his car door. 

"Yeah, about that, he's going to need a new one" Austin replied as he got into the  car.
