The guys were into their third week of touring since Chance revealed the last findings by the doctors. Appointments were hard to schedule not only due to the tour but the availability of the specialists they were trying to meet with. It would be another 2 months for the Mayo Clinic and at least 4 months for the hospital in North Carolina. Chance tried to stay positive, mostly for the guys. They were all trying so hard to take care of him without making it seem like they had become "mother hen". He appreciated all they were doing, but he also felt guilty that he was making them worry.

Tim had noticed some nights Chance looked more tired than others and would stay back at the bus when the others would gather at a local bar to wind down after performing. Chance always tried to encourage him to just go with the guys and not worry so much but Tim just couldn't allow himself to. He wasn't going to leave someone he cared for alone, ever again.

Tonight was a good night for Chance. He was determined to spend some time with the guys after the show, hang out, have a few drinks, get his and their minds off everything. They even had all the stage crew, Nate and Luke with them.  They were going to be heading out later the next day so it would give everyone ample time to recover. On the recommendation of the shows promoter they headed over to the Morgan Street Brewery in St Louis. It was a micro brewery with craft beers, shuffle board, pool tables and dart boards. It had an extensive menu and a biergarten where you could hang out under the stars and watch the game on a large outdoor tv. It was exactly what everyone needed.

"Ya know this kind of place would be the perfect business to have someday, something for everyone. All it needs is a house band" Chance remarked to everyone as they sat down to eat. "Hey, we could all get in on that AND be the house band if we wanted" Rob chimed in. "Seriously guys, not a bad idea for when you all retire, which I sincerely hope is a long way off" Luke remarked. "We'd need to do a little research on where to locate it. But who knows if we would all settle in the same area" Tim stated. Chance sat there listening to everyone's remarks and kicking around ideas. 'This is what they needed, got their minds off me for a change. I only hope if it ever comes to be, that I'm still here to enjoy it with them' he thought to himself. Tim noticed Chance seemed to be off into another world. He watched him until Chance finally looked his way, giving him a questionable raise of his eyebrow. Chance acknowledge with a slight smile letting him know he was ok.

The guys stayed until closing time then made their way back to the bus. Laughing and talking a bit loud in their intoxicated state. Austin walked up to Chance, slurring his speech a bit " Dude, I'm so happy you came out with everyone tonight. We had an epic time didn't we" he stated as he draped his arm around his shoulders. Chance just laughed and hugged him back, "yeah buddy that we did". 

Chance had kept his drinking to a minimum, due to the medications and what could happen if he didn't. He actual had more fun watching everyone else get wasted and took a few pics and videos on his phone of some of the nights happenings, just in case he needed them in the future.

 Tim walked over to Austin "hey buddy, let's get you to bed" he told him.

 "Ya know Timmy, I think you're handsome just like all the ladies do, but sorry babe, you're not my type" Austin replied. Tim pouted and helped him as he staggered up the steps of the bus.  Rob and Adam both laughed as they walked up behind them followed by Chance who was putting his phone away after he videoed Austin turning Tim down on his offer. 

'Yup, this was an epic night' he thought to himself as he made his way onto the bus.
