As he's finishing up his charts for the day, Dr. Daniels pulls out his cell phone again and scrolls until he finds Chances' number. He grabs his chart that he keeps locked in his desk, the second one that neither his mother or Heather are aware of. He knew that it was only a matter of time before Heather would access her brothers information, especially since he would be calling for medication refills. He reviews the last time he examined him, nearly a year ago, knowing that eventually the headaches would increase, the time has come for more extensive tests. Being the only doctor for many years in the area, he has treated Chance since he was born. He's watched him prevail through all the setbacks that came along with the initial diagnosis, including the denial from his father that there was anything wrong. Soon after his fathers passing he felt it was only fair to tell Chance exactly what he's been suffering with all these years. Chance had asked him not to reveal anything to his mother and sister. He would tell them when he had to but with the starting of his career and his fathers death, he felt that was all they could handle for now.

The guys are sitting around the fire pit enjoying a few beers after tonight's show. Chance feels the vibration of his phone in his pocket. Thinking it's most likely Heather, he walks away from the group before answering. When he looks down and sees that is actually Dr. Daniels private cell a sudden fear of something wrong at home over comes him, especially when it is nearly midnight there.

"Hello, Doc, is there something wrong with my mother or Heather" he asks.

"No no Chance, they are both fine. This is the first I've been able to contact you. I knew you had a concert tonight and that you would most likely still be up to unwind."

With a sigh of relief and a slight chuckle, Chance responds "yeah Doc, it was a great show. And where we are tonight we have about a 2 hour time delay behind you".

After a few minutes of talking Chance tells him he would make arrangements after tomorrow nights performance to catch a flight home to see him. They agree to meet at a time that Heather, and the public would not know he is there. The last thing he needs is for any rumors or speculation on why he is seeing the Dr. He assures him that he will call him as soon as he knows exactly when he will arrive. After hanging up Chance wonders how he's going to tell the guys, let alone get Luke to not question everything in order for him to fly back home. They do have a few days off and he really wants to get this over with before the rest of the tour. Maybe Tim will know what to do, he thinks to himself.
