Tim entered his room, slamming the door so hard a picture fell of the wall. He was pissed, at Chance, at himself, even his past. Suddenly his phone rang, it was Maggie. Taking a deep breath he answered ..."Hello Ms. Maggie"

"Tim, I need answers and apparently you're the only one that is possibly going to be able to help me understand what is going on with Chance" she demanded.

'Damn, nothing like a pissed off mother to shake you out of your own anger' he thought before trying to explain to her what had been going on for several weeks. At this point, he didn't care if Chance was angry or not. She deserved to know, he would deal with Chance later. Tim took his time, explaining everything, including finding him at the cliffs and how he too had a nightmare about it. When he came to the personality changes, at first he wasn't going to mention but she needed to know why he didn't want her or anyone for that matter near him anymore. 

There was silence on the other end before she asked "Did he hurt you Tim".

"Nothing I couldn't handle, Ms Maggie" he replied.

"That's not what I asked you, did he hurt you" she said again.

"Yes ma'am, a few times" he finally admitted. He could hear the soft crying on the other end of the phone. "But he wasn't in his right frame of mind Ms. Maggie, he didn't mean for it to happen. He can't control it sometimes."

"He needs help Tim, why won't he let anyone help him" she said through tears.

"I set him up with a couple of clinics to be evaluated. The one in Minnesota bailed on us but we do have an appointment coming up in North Carolina in little over a week. He's on medication and I am keeping a watchful eye on him. Please don't worry. I know he hasn't reached out to you or Heather. He's stubborn but also fearful of what could happen to either of you. I know you want to be with him, but I'm asking you not yet. Not until he can be seen by the doctor" he told her trying to reassure her that he wasn't alone in this ordeal.

"This is a lot for you to handle Tim, I know it's not any easier than the first time" she told him.

"I'm sorry? " he stated as a question about her reference.

"Please don't be angry with your mom, but she told me a bit about your past. I reached out to her when he stopped calling. I needed to at least know where he was" she told him apologetically. He didn't elaborate on his past, not now, maybe never. As it was he knew he had made remarks along the way, it would be only a matter of time before someone figured everything out. He quickly changed the subject back to Chance.

"I promise I will call you or Dr. Daniels as soon as we know anything. I won't let anything happen to him Ms. Maggie" he told her.

"I trust you Tim, more now than ever. Please let him know I love him" she said softly before hanging up the phone.

Tim sighed as he ran his hands through his hair. Checking the time he had 15 minutes to make it to the interview. He texted Adam to see where they were and if Chance was with them. He texted back  {we're waiting in the lobby and Chance bolted out of his room right after you left. I have know idea where he is now}. Great, just great. I don't have time to run out to look for him and if we don't show up at the interview Luke will surely have a fit. "FUCK" he yelled as he headed out the door.
