The next day came and Soonyoung came to school two minutes late, coming into class while the teacher was in the middle of a lesson.

"Kwon Soonyoung, why are you late?" The teacher asks, stopping Soonyoung in his spot and looking at him seriously.

Soonyoung stopped walking once the teacher pointed him out and chuckled a bit, rubbing the back of his neck as he says "yeah well...you know how it is, my alarm didn't go off."

"You really think I believe that excuse Soonyoung?" The teacher asks, looking at Soonyoung with the same serious expression on her face.

Soonyoung sighed deeply, pouting a bit as he says "no..."

"Go to your seat and write me a paragraph in English about the wrongs of being late" the teacher says, pointing to Soonyoung's desk and Soonyoung sighed once again. You could hear a couple students chuckling at him getting in trouble as he walked to his desk.

Lunch time came and Jihoon came up to Soonyoung's desk and chuckled, asking "why were you late this morning?"

"No reason, I just overslept" Soonyoung says in a smile, rubbing his eyes a bit.

"Playing video games again?" Jihoon asks.

"How'd you guess?" Soonyoung asks in a sarcastic matter while smiling.

"You know you should really study more, you're not going to get into a good college if you don't" Jihoon says and Soonyoung nodded slowly meaning he knew.

"We going to the cafeteria, I'm starving and I want something to eat" Soonyoung says and Jihoon nodded meaning okay.

As both boys got into the cafeteria and finally got their lunches, they sat at a table and started eating when someone came up to the both of them and asks "can I eat with you two?"

"Oh Seokmin, sure" Jihoon says in a smile and Seokmin smiled back, sitting down next to Jihoon.

"Seokmin, this is my friend Soonyoung, he's a really nice person when you get to know him, he might seem a bit mean now but he's really nice" Jihoon says in a smile.

"What're you talking about I might be a bad person now, I'm always a nice person!" Soonyoung exclaims.

"It's okay, I can tell you're a nice person by just looking at you" Seokmin says in a smirk.

Soonyoung was eating his lunch but Jihoon quickly started conversation with Seokmin and the two of them started to talk without him.

"Really, you said that?!" Jihoon asks, looking at Seokmin and Seokmin nodded meaning yes.

"Yeah, when I said that to her she started freaking out" Seokmin says in a chuckle and the two boys started laughing while Soonyoung was awkwardly sitting in front of them, eating his lunch.

As lunch went on, Soonyoung felt more and more left out with the conversation at the table only being Jihoon and Seokmin talking to each other. Soonyoung didn't even want to listen so he wasn't even paying attention to what the two of them were saying.

"Soonyoung's really good at them" Jihoon says to Seokmin and as soon as Soonyoung heard his name being mentioned, he looked up at the both of them, giving them a questioning look.

"Huh?" Soonyoung faintly says, looking from Jihoon to Seokmin.

"I was just saying how you were really good at playing video games, Seokmin was bragging about how good he was at them." Jihoon says in a smile and Soonyoung smirked.

"Oh really, no matter how good you think you are, there's always someone better" Soonyoung says in a big smile.

"Are you challenging me right now?" Seokmin asks, looking at Soonyoung seriously.

"Take what I said however you want to take it as." Soonyoung says, wavig his hand a bit.

"Then I guess we have to verse in something one day after school." Seokmin says.

"Oh that's good idea, let's all go to Soonyoung's house today after school and we'll see who the ultimate winner is!" Jihoon says, looking back from Soonyoung to Seokmin and the two boys both nodded meaning okay.

Lunch quickly ended and the next class came which was Korean history.

"I need everyone to get into partners because we'll be doing a project. I'm being nice and letting you all pick your own partners, so you all better do the work and not goof around!" The teacher says and everyone said 'yes' altogether.

As the teacher let everyone have free time to choose who they wanted as their partner, everyone already chose their best friend to do their partner with them, but as Soonyoung looked over at Jihoon, Jihoon was already talking to Seokmin.

Soonyoung saw Jihoon nod to Seokmin so Soonyoung now knew Jihoon had a partner and he bit his bottom lip.

"Jihoon knows for a fact he's my only friend and ninety percent of the people in our class bully me, why is he agreeing to be partners to Seokmin?! Seokmin needs to find new friends, he can't only be friends with Jihoon and I, since he's new he should learn to adapt more to the environment..." Soonyoung thought to himself, a little angry.

As everyone was already in partners, Soonyoung was looking around the classroom for the one odd person out, because there had to be at least one person without a partner in the classroom and he then found that person.

The only person left who didn't have a partner was Chan. Chan was the boy who got bullied almost as much as Soonyoung, and because Chan had no friends no one really stuck up for him when people were picking on him.

Soonyoung sighed as he slowly got up and sluggishly made his way over to Chan's desk and stood in front of it.

As Chan looked up, it looked like he had a frightened expression on his face as he says "y-yes?" In a small stutter.

"Do you want to be partners with me?" Soonyoung asks, looking down at Chan who was still sitting down.

As Soonyoung asked Chan if he wanted to be partners, Chan quickly nodded meaning yes. "O-Of course, I would love to be partners with you, t-thank you for asking me!" Chan says, in a smile, bowing in his seat.

"Whoa there, no need to be so polite, I just asked if you wanted to be my partner." Soonyoung says, a little surprised.

"Oh, I'm sorry" Chan says, bowing once again.

"Okay, anyway, give me your phone number. Since we're partners I need to get in contact with you somehow." Soonyoung says, giving Chan his phone to put his number inside and Chan nodded, meaning he understood.

Chan also gave Soonyoung his phone to do the same, and as they exchanged phone numbers, Soonyoung turned around and walked back to his desk, laying his head down and closing his eyes.

The day soon passed and as the end of the school day came, Soonyoung, Jihoon and Seokmin were all walking to Soonyoung's house together.

"You're going to lose no matter what we play" Seokmin says in a smile.

"That's what you think" Soonyoung smirked.

As the three boys got to Soonyoung's house, they all went into the living room and Soonyoung started up his XBOX.

"How about we play super smash bros?" Soonyoung suggests, pulling out the game and Seokmin said he was fine with whatever.

Once Soonyoung put the game in, they both chose their characters and started playing.

Like Soonyoung had said, he ended up beating Seokmin badly in the game. "You're really good" Seokmin says in a sigh of defeat, looking at Soonyoung a bit shocked with how skilled he was.

Soonyoung smirked at Seokmin's comment and thanked him for praising him.

"That looked so fun, I want to learn how to play but it seems a bit difficult." Jihoon says, biting his bottom lip.

"Here, I'll show you" Seokmin says in a smile, coming up behind Jihoon who was sitting cross legged onto the ground and sitting behind him, placing his hands over Jihoon's and showing him what to do.

As Soonyoung saw that, he couldn't stop staring and feeling a turning pain in his chest. He wanted to separate the two and be the one to show Jihoon how to play the game, but he didn't want to look rude. He also didn't know why his chest hurt so much.
