Dear Freddie,

 You once told me about Lila's parents, and I hung onto your every word.

 Your brother was in college, and went to party that was being thrown by a friend. Lila's mother was there, and you said you brother told you she was the most beautiful woman in the room. He asked her to dance with him, and he couldn't take his eyes off of her the entire night. And then you would say, "At least that's the story my brother told".

 Lila's parents went to the same college, and they dated for a long time before getting married sometime after finishing college. You said they were almost like a perfect couple, but they would have fights about stuff. But you also said they would always try to work out their problems, however much they disagreed on stuff.

 You said they spent a lot of time trying to have kids, and that they were ecstatic when Lila was born. You already know my story with Josie and Lizzie, so I know what it's like to give birth and see your children for the first time.

 I don't know if you're surprised that I remembered all that stuff, but I have always been a sucker for stories like that. They didn't love happily ever after, but they had each other and they loved each other, and it's beautiful.

 I would love to have something like that, but I'm also afraid it would get ruined.
