Dear Freddie,

 I don't know that much about your life before you moved to Mystic Falls. You never said much about it, and told me it was pretty boring.

 To me, you aren't boring at all. When you told me stuff, I was always interested in what you had to say about everything.

 When you were a kid, you had to act 'normal' in school because you couldn't have people knowing you were a real witch. I guess it's true the other kids would have freaked it, but I hate that it made you feel like you had to be a loner and couldn't have any friends. I wish I could have been there for you. If I could go back in time and be nicer as a teenager, I would have been your friend.

 When I asked if you've ever had romances before, you said you had a few short relationships that weren't too serious and never worked out. I always had the feeling there was more to it then that, but I never pressed you for information. There was a time in my life when I probably would have done something like that, but not these days. I know what it's like to go through a tough relationship.

 I know you'll find someone, Freddie. You'll find someone like you who will love you forever, even though you neither of you will live forever. I couldn't be that person.
