Dear Freddie,

 You know I had loves before I met you, and I think I know who my first love was.

 In high school, I started dating Matt Donovan for a while. It's hard to believe he's the sheriff now; I remember being in kindergarten together. When I started dating him, it was after my best friend Elena broke up with him after the two of them went out for like forever. Then she started going out with a guy I had tried to get a date with, so getting together with Matt was a little like revenge, but it also wasn't. I really did like Matt, but I don't think he was my first true love.

 I think my first true love was Tyler Lockwood. It's funny, because I had known for so long and I always thought he was a huge jerk. But I became a vampire and he found out he was a werewolf, so we kind of helped each other out in getting acquainted with the supernatural world. Matt and I broke up, and I got together with Tyler. I really did love him, and even though he's gone now, he'll always have this special place in my heart.

 Though it wasn't actually a romance, this was the guy named Klaus who was always hitting on me. I'm pretty sure you would hate him if you met him. Thankfully, he lives in New Orleans now and he's far away from Mystic Falls. I always did like him a little, tough.

 There is one more person, but I'll tell you more about that in the next letter.
