Summary of the main show:
The first two series are Sherlock Holmes adventures set in modern times. In series three and four it turns a drama with crime in it rather than a crime drama. I think the word is cinematic with a lot of fancy camerawork and very cool transitions. In the first three series, it is gay (not actually but all the hints are there). They decided they didn't want it to be gay in the fourth series. Sherlock Holmes is a drug addict and is played by Bfudwydjch Cruefuwywurt, John Watson is an ex army soldier with a PTSD played by Martin Freeman. It's very good.

Why the ending was terrible

• No Johnlock

• No case, just a glorified escape room

• The whole plot is based on the fact that Eurus can hypnotise people with no training

• Wayyyy too many plot twists, I hadn't fully grasped one before another came along

• They told us one thing and then this thing (the tiny arc across three seasons) was entirely wrong (this is just a pet peeve though)

• Although the girl on the plane was an interesting analogy, I don't understand why eurus would show her weakness

• At the end she let herself get arrested and didn't make any attempts to get free which isn't really her character in my opinion.

• I liked the violin duet because I love it when they play the theme song in a show, but there wasn't enough padding inbetween this and they should've had some dialog explaining-maybe a voice over by john- what was happening as the 'the game is on' didn't really have the mood for the ending.

• I think Moffat got excited and came up with a bunch of plot twists and then went:  eh how are we supposed to fit this all in, meaning that the plot was rushed and there were two 'halves' of the episode with not a very good link.

Half 1. Escape room, conflict around that
Half 2. Eurus being arrested, John getting out of the well, redbeards reveal

• how tf did john get out of the well he was chained to the floor

• how tf did john get in the well eurus def didn't do it

• how tf did she get to england - helicopter??

• Moriarty has been dead for two series stop bringing him back

• The explosion at the beginning had no purpose other than to add extra drama

• how did mycroft get out of the building and get ms hudson with him and not die because john and Sherlock only just managed to jump out the window before the fireball followed them

• when baker street exploded there wouldn't be much left because there was a massive fireball, remember. The fire would've kept going and definitely burnt more than a tiny bit of the wallpaper.

• The bosses wife could reach her mouth with her hands which meant that she should've been able to take the gag off and tell them that the girl on the plane didn't exist - saving a LOT of drama

Things I liked

• The horror movie style clown bit at the beginning

• They played a queen song

Hmm look at that, I actually got bored during some of the drama because they took ages to actually do anything other than play suspenseful music.

Conclusion: I'm sad because johnlock didn't happen
