Karan's POV:

I was done with my shoot for the day but Teju was still on her sets, shooting. It was friday so we both decided to clear up our respective schedules, so we could get some free time for a weekend getaway. 

Today Teju had her shoot near filmcity only. I looked at my watch, it was 7pm so I decided to drive myself to her sets so that we can go home together. I was supposed to reach there in about half an hour but duh!! Mumbai's world famous traffic didn't let me reach on time. It took me almost 1 hour, but finally after lots of hustle and bustle I reached there. 

I made my way towards her vanity and went inside. Her manager greeted me with a warm smile.

"Karan, Teju is giving her last shot for the day. You wait for sometime she'll be back soon. I'll see you afterwards." She informed me and left the vanity.

I made myself comfortable on the small bed present there and took out my phone. I thought to surf through my phone till the time she comes back. After scrolling instagram for about 10 minutes I decided to log in to my twitter account. Although Laddoo and my team has strictly asked me to stay away from that chaotic app, but I still use it sometimes.

However I don't use it like I used to before but, out of curiosity I still, go there. Nowdays all I do is like mine, her and our articles, fan made videos and edits, some appreciating tweets and that's it. While I was reading few tweets I came across this one tweet where a fan of ours expressed her wish of us going out on a small road trip so we get some time together, alone away from the chaos, just us.

Bang On!! I got a super brilliant idea. I thanked that fan who just randomly gave me this idea. 

I kissed my phone out of happiness just than somebody snatched away my phone from my hands. 

I looked upwards to see who did this, and not to my surprise it was Teja.

"I knew it! I just knew it! I knew you were cheating on me with your phone and I just now caught you red handed." I looked at her with an horrified expression and she looked away.

"Are you even in your senses? What the fuck are you even saying?" Just then my mind repeated what she said.

"Wait a minute! What did you say?" I asked her perplexed.

By that time I could see her controlling her laughter by looking in the opposite direction. Now I got that. 

"Tune mujhe fuddu banaya!?" I asked her with a bizarre expression.

She looked at me and burst out in laughter.

"Look at your face Sunny! You look so funny. Oh shittt!!"

"Mai nahi khel raha yaar!" I sat on the bed with a thud and folded my arms across my chest with an angry pout.

"Awwlee mera dugguu" She squeezed my cheeks like a lemon and sat beside me.

"But you were on your phone and the way you were looking at it, I knew you were busy with my sautan, that bitch chidiya app" She said with a cute pout.

"How is that chidiya app your sautan? We aren't married yet! Remember?" Now I was all ready to tease her.

"So what? She is my competitor nuh? And we are rokafied so technically you are already my half husband." She said with a smug.

"Pagal hi hai tu puri! Meri pagal." I gave a peck on her cheeks and she moved from the bed to my lap.

"But sunny why were you smiling so much when I came back?"

"I have planned something exciting for the weekend." I grinned like an enthu cutlet.

"Whaattt?" She asked getting from my lap clapping like a little girl.

"We are going on a road trip tomorrow!" I said with a thrilled voice.

"Are you seriouss? Like are you actually serious?" I nodded with a wide smile.

She jumped on me and wrapped her legs around my waist and her hands around the nape of my neck.

"Oh my god sunny! Oh my god! Finally. Like finally I'll go on a road trip after ages. You know I don't even remember when I went for something like this. Maybe before lockdown hit, or maybe even before that. But I am so excited. We'll get to spend so much time together, away from the city, somewhere far from all the chaos." She squealed with delight.

Her 100 hundred dollar smile is all I need to be happy. The way these small things give her so much happiness, is something so rare to see in people. I wonder how she is so different from the world, so carefree, always happy, finds happiness in little things. How can someone be so giving and caring.

She nudged my shoulder and brought me out of my reverie, "Sunny but where are we going?"

"That's a surprise baby." I straightened my back and got up.

She whined like a kid, "Awwleee! Fomo ho raha hai baby ko? Koi baat nahi you'll get to know soon. Chal abhi get up."

Tejasswi's POV:

I was keeping my daily essentials in my backpack when I heard a sound of giggle and I knew that Sunny is already here and I am still in my bathrobe.

I quickly changed into my outfit and picked up my bags and went downstairs.

When I reached the living room I saw Sunny helping Aai in arranging the dishes and plates on the dining table for breakfast and he was laughing and joking around with Baba.

"Uncle isko bachpan mein thode shittar diye to aaj time par hoti." He said while settling down on the sofa.

"Yaaa, I know. We had to change her school timings because she would be always late for school." Baba said agreeing with him.

My family clearly loves him more than me and it's so evident, I mean they don't even acknowledge my existence when he is there. Although I am jealous but I have no complains, what else could I have asked for.

"All you guys do is make fun of me. That's not at all fair and sunny you are a thief. You stole my parents." I tried to sound annoyed and sat on the dining table with an angry pout.

"So what? We believe in tit for tat, right? You stole mine and I stole yours....." He chucked.

"Brat." I murmured.

"Well that makes - sunny -2 and laddoo - 0" He hi-fied Aai and I looked at them perplexed.

I raised my eyebrows and gave them a questioning look and they just smiled at each other.
Oh god how much do they annoy me. CRAZY FAMILY!

We finished our breakfast and got up to leave. It was 10 o'clock already and Sunny had told me that it would take us around 3-4 hours to reach there and considering Mumbai's traffic plus weekend rush we should definitely get going.

We didn't had much luggage as it was just a 2 days trip so we kept our bags on the back seat and settled in the car. 

"Bye beta. Take care of each other and please don't fight like kids." Aai instructed us and we nodded our heads like obedient children.

"Give us a call when you reach, yeah?" Baba told us and with that we started off with our drive.

It's gonna be a fantastic and crazy weekend. We will have lots of fun and make lots of memories. GOOD MEMORIES.

A/n: I know this part was really short but I had this idea in my mind since a really long time. I always wanted someone to write about their road trip but I never got to read one, so I decided to jot down my own ideas and write something. This was just part 1, the rest is yet to come. I hope I was able to do justice to this part but if I couldn't then I whole heartedly apologize for that. Part 2 will be shortly up.
