Karan is seen waiting impatiently in an ice cream parlour as decided. He and Tejasswi decided to meet up here at 5 pm but bechara Karan had reached there around 4:30 pm all. He is continuously looking at the entrance now and then. A waiter came there to takes his order.

Waiter : Hi, sir. Can I take your order?

Karan : Hey, actually I'm waiting for my friend. So, can I order once she reaches?

Waiter : Sure, sir. You can call me anytime.

Karan : Thanks, buddy!

The waited went and Karan takes out his phone. He saw the time and it shows 4:50 pm. 10 more minutes for her to come. He decided to scroll his feeds in insta to kill some time. The times passed and it's 5 pm now.

The entrance of the ice cream parlour got opened and a cool breeze brushes Karan's skin. He shivers a bit and looks up from his phone. His eyes directly stopped at the entrance as Tejasswi entered the shop.

She is wearing white casuals with turns jeans. She had let the first 2 buttons opened. She is wearing minimal makeup and she is holding her stethoscope and her doctor coat in her right hand. She looks around and finds Karan looking at her.

She smiled at him and walks towards him. He just keeps staring at her or rather say he is lost in her beauty. She comes to the table and waves at him. He comes back to the world and smiles at her. He stood up and shakes his hand with her.

Karan : Hey, Tejasswi!

Tejasswi : Hi, Karan.

They got settled down. Tejasswi looks around and signals the same waiter who greeted Karan a while ago to come. The waiter comes there.

Waiter : Hi, madam. Can I take your order?

Teja : Hey, yes, please. Chocolate Chip Cookies Dough one cup and..

She looks at Karan and he ordered a strawberry ice cream for himself. The waiter nods at them and left from there to bring their order. After he left, TejRan looked at each other and smiles awkwardly.

Karan : Yaar, do we have to be awkward?

Teja : I don't want to, do you?

Karan : Not at all. So, I heard that you agreed to our rishta.

Teja : Yeah, my parents are happy with this. So, I agreed.

Karan : Wait, so did you agree just for your parents? There is no force in this relationship, Tejasswi if you are not interested. I'll talk to our parents.

Teja : No, Karan. There is no force in this. After all, we know each other a bit well and in the meantime, I get to know that you are a gem. I like you as a friend. So, I thought why not we start as friends and let our destiny decide are we just friends or more than that. We will get marry. Then, we will get to know each other and slowly we will take this relationship to next level. What do you say?

Karan : I totally agree with you. Even I was afraid at first what if this relationship doesn't work out. Now, I'm pretty sure that we both will make it work.

The waiter brings their ice creams and places them on the table. Tejasswi takes a spoon of her ice cream and looks at Karan.

Teja : So, let's start our friends to soulmates journey by this ice cream as a good luck charm.

She feeds him the spoon of ice cream and Karan smiles at her. He forwards a spoon of his ice cream. Tejasswi looks at him for a moment and takes it with a smile. They had their ice creams respectively while talking random things.

Karan notices some cream near her lips. He signs her to wipe it off. She wipes either above or below. Karan chuckles and forwards his hand. He wipes off the cream and his thumb brushes her lips in the process.

It sends shivers down her spine. He looks at her who is already looking at him. They fall into a deep eye lock. They just keep staring into each other's eyes not caring about their surrounding. Their beautiful moment was broken by Karan's phone ring.

They broke their eye lock. Tejasswi blushes and turns her head away from him to control her blush. Karan takes his phone and saw the caller ID. It is his sister. He curses her under his breath and this was noticed by Tejasswi. She chuckles at him and Karan smiles sheepishly.

The Kundrras visited the Mehra one fine day. They comes there with a Pandit. He matches the kundlis of TejRan and was asked to fix a date for their engagement and wedding. After some calculations, he looks at them with a smile.

Pandit : These two kundlis matches too well. This girl have Durga Maa's star and this boy has Lord Shiva's star. They are meant to be together and made for each other.

Their siblings hoot for that. The elders were happy listening to it. TejRan looks at each other listening to him. They smiles at each other and blushes unknowingly.

Pandit : You can do their engagement in 2 weeks which is on 16 Sept and their wedding on 5th October. This wedding muhurat is same as Shiv Parvathi's wedding muhurat. It's very auspicious. If you let this date ago, then you have to wait for 3 more years for their wedding.

Pragya/Akshara : No, we are okay with the dates.

They shout together meanwhile the other laughs. Pandit takes his leave and both the families gets into the discussion.

Naitik : We have very limited time for both ceremonies. We have to split the duties among us and have to do it perfectly.

Abhi : I agree with him. We should act fast because the click is ticking.

Pragya : Laddoo, Karan beta. Are you both okay with it?

TejRan looks at each other and then at Pragya. They nod their head in 'yes'. The youngsters hoot again meanwhile the elders chuckles in their childish behaviour.

Prachi : Finally, bade bhai is getting married to my favourite person in the world that is Teju di.. Oops, I meant Teju bhabhi!

Prachi hugs Tejasswi. Tejasswi chuckles and hugs her back. She looks at Karan, who is staring at her by keeping his chin on his elbow which was supported by his lap. When she looks at him, he ruffles his hair and casually turns away but he was caught by her. She blushes at it.
