It's been a week since Prachi's birthday party. It's a bright sunny day on Sunday. Pragya is preparing breakfast in the kitchen while Abhi is busy on his phone. Just then, Teja enters the house all exhausted from her night shift and she is a bit pale.

Abhi notices the dull face of Teja and gets concerned. He cut the call and went towards Teja. Pragya who came to the dining room with the breakfast looked at them. Teja sees Abhi approaching her and puts up a fake smile.

Teja : Good morning, Dad!

Abhi : Good morning, Princess! Why are you looking dull? Anything serious?

Teja : Nothing, Papa! I'm fine.

Pragya : Don't lie, Laddoo. Your father and I saw your dull face when you came in and we can read our daughter's face and tell what she's feeling now. What happened, beta?

Pragya asked as she came towards them and put a hand on Teja's shoulder. She smiles at them and holds their hands.

Teja : Nothing Maa. Papa, hum bilkul theek hoon. I'm just exhausted. Don't worry.

Abhi : Pakka na?

She nods her head positively and Abhi smiles. He caresses her head while Aditi came there yawning. She saw them and pouts.

Aditi : Family bonding without me?! Not fair.

She whines and runs towards them and hugs Pragya. They chuckles and Pragya hits Aditi's head lightly while shaking her head in disbelief. Aditi giggles.

Pragya : Okay, chalo. You both go and get freshened up. I'll arrange breakfast on the table in the meantime.

Teja : Maa, you all carry on. I'm going for a jog after changing myself.

Abhi : But beta you just came from night shift and wanna go for a jog?! I know you are a doctor and you want to be fit but you shouldn't neglect your health. You take a rest after breakfast. You can go for a walk in the evening.

Teja : Nahi, Papa! Mujhe jaana hai.

Abhi : Par..

He was cut off by Pragya in the middle.

Pragya : Let her go, Abhi ji.

She said while signalling him to stay quiet. He obeys his wife and nods his head.

Teja : Aditi, go and freshen up. We will go for a jog.

Aditi : Nope, I'm not coming. I'm too lazy to walk on Sunday, didu!

Teja : Fatto! Then, don't complain to me when you get fat like our Kamla aunty in Delhi!

She said and went to her room to change. Aditi looks at Teja with an open mouth bewildered by her remark of her figure. She imagined Kamla aunty and herself as the aunty. She widens her eyes.

Aditi : Diiiii, wait for me. I'll get ready for the jog.

Saying it Aditi rushes to her room to get ready. Abhigya chuckles at her antics. Abhi then comes closer to Pragya. She looks at him with an eyebrow raised.

Abhi : Why did you let Teja go for a jog even if you know she is tired?

Pragya : She will go for a jog whenever she is on leave or upset regarding something only. She is not on leave today and you saw her face when she came in. She was dull and pale. I think something had happened to her patient. That's why she's upset. She'll be okay once she gets back from the jog. Trust me!

Abhi looks at Pragya being impressed. He raised his right palm and put it on his forehead and saluted Pragya showing his respect in a funny way. Pragya chuckles at him and pulls his cheeks. Then, she left from there to the kitchen and Abhi carried on with his work.

A park is shown. People are going for a walk, jogging or chitchatting sitting on the provided benches. Teja is jogging while having her earphones on. Aditi is trying to keep up with Teja but she is extremely out of energy now.

She speeds up and stops in front of Teja. Teja, who was lost in thought collided with Aditi as she didn't notice her.

Teju/Aditi : Ouch!

Aditi : Di, see and run.

Teja : Why did you come in the middle? Idiot!

Aditi : I'm done with this jogging. I can't run even for a minute hereafter. Please, let's go back home!

She showed her puppy eyes to Teja but she didn't budge. She glares at Aditi while she pouts cutely.

Teja : You didn't even complete 3 rounds and we barely finished the 2km run only. We need to run 3km more.

Teja said looking at her smartwatch which is keeping track of their run. Aditi nods her head in 'no'.

Aditi : No, I can't! I aborted this task! I'm quitting. Please let me go, meri maa!

Aditi says it dramatically and Teja chuckles at her antics.

Teja : Okay then, you sit on the bench for a while and in the meantime I'll finish my runs.

Aditi : Thank you, dii! I love you to infinity.

Aditi just falls on the nearby bench and Teja shakes her head in disbelief and continues her run. She keeps running while listening to the song but she didn't concentrate on running nor the song.

She was lost in some deep thoughts. She didn't notice the person in front of her. She collided with the person but don't worry she didn't fall this time as she was fast enough to balance herself. The person in front of her loses the balance and falls on his butt.

Teja was shocked and felt sorry for him. The guy looked up at her and he was revealed to be Karan. He was surprised to find Teja there. She forwards her hand to him to help him out. He smiles and holds her hand and she pulls him up.

Teja : I'm so sorry. I didn't see you as I was lost in thoughts. I'm really sorry.

Karan : Hey, that's okay. I'm all fine. You okay?

Teja : Yeah. I'm sorry again, sir.

Karan : Sir? Tejasswi don't you remember me?

Teja : Wait, how do you know my name? Have we ever met before?

Karan : I'm Karan. Umm, Prachi's elder brother..

Teja : Ohh yes! Karan Kundrra right?! I'm sorry. I forgot you.

Her statement makes Karan disappointed but he covers it with a smile.

Karan : That's okay. Waise, aap har din yahan jogging karti hain kya?

Teja : Aise nahi. Only when I'm on my leave or upset with something.

Karan : Oh, then I think you are here today as you are upset regarding something.

Teja was surprised as how did he get to know that she is upset about something. How can he identify it? She gave him an impressive look but still wanted to know how he found it out.

Teja : Yeah, I am! One of my patients passed away last night. She was closest to me and a teen girl. I was upset and sad about that but.. how did you get to know that?

Karan : Actually I saw you from far and waved my hand at you but you didn't seem to notice me but I can see that you were lost. That's how I guessed it.

Teja : Impressive.

Karan : Thank you! By the way, I'm just a businessman but don't feel defended as I'm saying. I know the relationship between doctor and patient is unique. You guys are taking care of your patients and treating them as your own family. Therefore, I can understand the pain you are going through but this happens. Not that we can treat all the diseases. Sometimes, we have to accept fate and move on. Especially, you as you have many more patients to take care of. Just keep the passed away's patient in your prayer so that she can rest in peace.

Teja was truly amazed by his talk and not at all felt defended. He is actually true with the fact of the relationship between doctor and patient. The deaths happen and we can't get them alive back. We should move on and treat the others who need our help.

Teja : Thank you, Karan. I'm really feeling relieved after listening to you. Thanks again.

Karan : Anytime!

He smiles at her and she smiles at him back. They stare at each other and within seconds get lost into each other as their eyes meet. They had a beautiful eye lock with a pleasant surrounding. They drifted into another land where they were only these two souls who keep staring at each other and don't want to break this moment at all.
