He slowly places her on the bonet beside the foods and they keeps looking at each other or rather say lost in each other. Karan hasn't taken his hands off her waist and they are still looking into each other's eyes.

A car's horn sound made them to break their eye contact. They smiles awkwardly. Karan's hands are still on her waist. Teja signals him but he didn't understand. She points his hands and he takes his hands off her waist - "Sorry!" He rubs his nape nervously and Teja blushes unknowingly.

"Come and sit here." - Teja said pointing at the other side of the foods on the bonet. "Neh, I'll stand." - Karan said coming and standing a bit close to her. "But how long will you stand?" - Teja asked. "That doesn't matter when I'm close with you unlike 50cm away from you with the foods between us." - Karan said making faces.

Teja chuckles at his faces and Karan admires her. He composed himself. Teja takes the two plates of fried rice in her hands. She hands over one to him and one for her. They eats it while talking randomly. "So, tell about your likes." - Karan said taking second spoon of fried rice.

"My likes.. Hmm, I like to watch cricket. I like to explore new cities or new conutries. Then, I like jogging on my free time. I like to spend time with my family because as a doctor it's a bit complicated as we have to report to the hospital on emergency case even though we are on leave." - Teja said.

"Ohh, nice. How many countries you have visited till now?" - Karan asked her. "After my graduation, I have went to Australia, Malaysia, Nepal, Japan and Brazil. My next destination will be France." - Teja said taking another spooon of fried rice. "Wow, I have been to France, once. Of course, for a business meeting." - Karan said.

"Was it nice there?" - Teja asked him excitedly. "Yes, the place was neat and clean. The food I must admit way more delicious than here. But the people are mean to your face if you are there for work purpose. As a tourist, they are nice." - Karan said. "Accha. Bring me there at least once." - Teja asked with puppy eyes.

Karan chuckles at her puppy eyes and agreed to her. Teja was so happy. "Tell about your like." - Teja said. "I like to play badminton and football. I, Vikram and Prachi always play badminton every Sunday evening at our garden." - Karan said.

"Wow, it's cool but I hate sports." - Teja said. "What? But you said you like to watch cricket." "Yes but I didn't say I like to play. I hate sports." - Teja said and shrugs her shoulders. "That's a point to note down. Then, I like dogs." "I'm scared of them!" - Teja said making a frightening face. "What? They are cute." - Karan said.

"No, they are dangerous." - Teja said. "No. Only the untaken care of dogs might be dangerous. The home one are really adorable and good one. Trust me." - Karan said. "Yeah, whatever." - Teja said making a scaredy face. Karan chuckles. "I occasionally drinks alcohol. What about you?" - Karan asked her.

"Me as well. But I'll make sure that I don't drink much because I'll be uncontrollable if I drink breaking the limit. Aneri and Harsh are the one who had seen me in that state. The next day, they took an off to calm themselves for the torture I did them." - Teja said laughing hard.

"Well, I like to see that side of yours." - Karan said looking at her. Teja stops laughing and looks at him. She averted her gaze from him after a second. "Well, uhmm.. Any ex?" - Teja asked avoiding the previous statement of his.

"Yes, actually 3 ex-girlfriends!" - Karan said. "That's impressive. Tell me how you broke up." - Teja asked him. "Well, first one was when I'm in lower secondary. Actually, it was a puppy love. We didn't last long for 3 months also. The second one was when I'm in upper secondary. I liked her so much and I thought we will last long but she changed her school and went to Australia. We thought of having long distance relationship but I couldn't keep up. So, I broke up with her but we are still friends." - Karan said.

"So, you two broke up in mutual feelings." - Teja said. "Kind of. Third one was when I'm in college. I proposed her in second year and we broke up on our last day of college." - Karan said. "Why?" - Teja asked him. "Actually, a junior who I helped in her thesis kissed me on our farewell party and she saw us. She fought with me not giving a chance to explain and she broke up with me." - Karan said sighing.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. After that you didn't have any relationship?" - Teja asked curiosly. "Nope." - Karan nods his head negatively. "What about you?" - Karan asked looking at her. Teja looks up at him from her food. She smiled and said - " I had only one boy in my life. I meant in the past. He was my best friend from kindergarten and we joined the same primary school. We were in the same high school. He proposed me on my 14th birthday and I accepted it because I loved him from the age of 11. Then, he got an offer from Cambridge College for his higher studies." - Teja stopped.

"Then, what happened?" - Karan asked her. "Well, he promised me that he'll not leave me in any situation and we agreed on the long distance. At beginning it was fun. On my last year of medical school, he broke up as he couldn't do the long distance. I agreed to him because you know the time difference. We separated on mutual feelings but sometimes I regretted." - Teja said chuckling sadly.

"Are you still in touch with him?" - Karan asked her. Teja nods her head negatively. "His name?" "Rishabh Gujral." - Teja said. Karan nods his head and they continues eating the foods they bought. After sometime they finished it. "You had ate everything. I thought you won't looking at your figure but you proved me wrong." - Karan said.

"Actually, it was a lot but as I didn't eat anything from morning, I was so hungry. That's why I finished everything." - Teja said. "What? You didn't eat anything from morning?" - Karan asked and Teja nod her head. "But why?" "I had an operation in the morning. It took more hours than I thought it will take. Then, I was going for rounds checking up my patients. I forgot to eat with these all!" - Teja said getting down from the bonet and throwing the rubbish on the dustbin.

"You are being careless, yaar. You are a doctor but you couldn't take care of yourself. You know what from today I'll call you and remember you to eat." - Karan said. "We'll see." - Teja said while chuckling. "I'll do if I say. Try me." - Karan said winking at her. She looks at him being surprised by his behavior. He is caring for her. She was impressed.
