After a few days Mandakni came to meet Shravan.She was looking dull.

Shravan embraced her from back.

Shravan:What's up my Mandy?

She was upset.

Mandakni:I overheard my chachu's conversation with his friend Harshwardhan.They are planning to fix my marriage with Harsh uncle's son Abhay.They also belong to a royal family.I never thought that chachu will take this decision before consulting me.

Shravan:Actually I am not surprised Mandy.I knew that your chachu will get you married to rich Prince.

Mandakni looked at him emotionally.

Mandakni:I will tell Chachu about you.

Shravan:But he will not approve of our relationship as I am a good for nothing robber.

Mandakni became upset.

She looked at Shravan.

Mandakni:You know what I over heard?Chachu is planning my wedding with Abhay for his business deal.I heard it with my own ears.I thought chachu loves me.But he wants to use me for his business.Now I understand why I always felt empty after I lost my parents though chachu took care of me.Because he never loved me.His love was fake.

Shravan was shocked.

Shravan:I knew that your uncle is not a nice man.But I thought that he loves you sincerely.That's why I kept quiet.

Mandakni looked at him in disbelief.

Mandakni:You knew that chachu is not a good man?How?

Shravan:Because my Boss is none other than your uncle.He only asked me to come to the palace and take the gold statue ,that's why the guards did not protest when I entered the palace.Harshwardhan and Abhay are also involved in smuggling with him.

Mandakni was shocked to the core.

Shravan:Since the gold statue is the ancestral possession of the palace,he can't sell it.So he wanted to make it look like it was stolen.Then he wanted to export it abroad.He asked me to stay away from you as you fell in love with me.

Mandakni was in tears:How can he be so horrible?He is destroying his own palace.

She wiped her tears.

Mandakni:As a Princess I have to protect my palace.I will do that and punish my own uncle keeping aside all the sentiments I have for him.

Shravan was surprised to see her bold avtar.

Mandakni:I will shock him by introducing you as my lover.

Shravan was stunned.

Shravan:Yes,it will be a shock for him as he thinks that after we broke up after I got jailed.

Mandakni:Will you support me Shravan?

Shravan held her hand:I will always be there with you Mandy.

She smiled.

Present....

Mandakni and Shravan smiled at each other thinking of the past post his release from the jail.

Shravan:Hope our plan to expose your uncle will work.

She smiled.

Shravan pecked her forehead sweetly.

Mandakni was stunned to see the Palace getting decorated.

Mandakni:Why is the Palace getting decorated?

Inder:Because I am going to conduct your engagement with Abhay.

Mandakni was shocked.

Mandakni:What?I said that I can't marry Abhay.

Inder:I don't care.You are immature.That's why you want to marry a robber.But I will not let it happen.As an elderly person I need to guide you.So you will get engaged to Abhay,not with that robber.

Mandakni was stunned.

Shekar:We will not let this engagement happen.

Inder:Bhaiyya,do you want our niece to marry a robber?

Sharmishta:He is not a robber,but the person who Mandakni loves.

Inder:I don't care.

Savitri Devi:I am the eldest.Won't you take my words into consideration?Back out from this alliance.

Inder:You are the eldest.But not in our family.You belong to Bhabhi's family,not our family.So don't order me.What I want will happen today.

All were stunned to see how he talked to Savitri Devi.

Inder walked away.

Mandakni became dull.

Shekar:Don't worry Mandakni.This is just an engagement.Not wedding.The wedding will not happen.

Sharmishta:Yes,don't worry Mandakni.We are with you.

Mandakni did not say anything.

Engagement function....

Mandakni had to be seated next to Abhay.

Strangely only Abhay and his father Harshwardhan were there as Inder did not want anything to be leaked if Shravan comes to do drama.

Mandakni put the ring on Abhay's finger painfully.

Then she smirked without Abhay's knowledge.Abhay stood near Mandakni to put the ring on her finger.Mandakni was smiling.

Inder thought:How come Mandakni is smiling?

Suddenly somebody pushed Abhay taking the ring from him and put it on Mandakni's finger. All were shocked to see him.

He was none other than Shravan.

Mandakni stood closer to Shravan:This is my dearest fiance Shravan.

Shravan smiled.

Mandakni:How did you guys like our engagement?

All were gritting their teeth in anger.

Mandakni:How did you all think that very easily you can get me engaged to Abhay?No way.

Inder:You did a very big mistake.You fooled your own uncle.

Mandakni:Just like you fooled me chachu.Just like you pay your guards I paid double money to them to let Shravan come inside.

Inder was stunned:I fooled you and paid the guards?

Shravan:What a fool you are to think that if you blackmail me I will not tell the truth to Mandakni!I told her everything.

Inder was shocked.

Inder:Mandakni,believe me.This guy is lying.I did not ask him to steal the gold statue.

Mandakni:Chachu...when did I tell you that Shravan told me about stealing the gold statue?

Inder got embarrassed.

Mandakni:You yourself spilled out the truth.Right?

Inder:No..

Mandakni:Yes..you did it.How could you become so greedy to think of selling our palace possession?You even tried to get me hitched to Abhay because of your greed.I had over heard you speaking to your friend.You are exposed chachu.Don't pretend to be good anymore.

Finally Inder burst out.

Inder:Yes,I am what you think.This Palace is not mine.This is in your name.Even m parents cared only for your father and considered me irresponsible.He was given a royal treatment,but I was treated as nothing.Even after your parents died,I was given only a caretaker's role.I took care of you,but you are not grateful to me.

Mandakni:You took care of me for your own benefit..only because this palace was in my name.

Inder kept quiet.

Shekar-Sharmishta were shocked.

Sharmishta:I can't believe it.

Shekar slapped him.

Shekar:I am ashamed to say that you are my brother.

Inder:Bhaiyya,our parents did injustice to you also.

Shekar:No,they did'nt.They entrusted the most responsible son to take care of the palace.Also I was busy with my job in Mumbai.

Inder:I am not a great person like you to forget the injustice done to me.

Shekar:Chee...shame on you.

Savitri Devi:He is a disgrace to the royal family.

Shravan:Now you yourself confessed everything and I recorded it.

Inder was shocked.

Inder:No,you can't do anything with this recording.

Suddenly Policemen came there.

They:We don't need Shravan's recording as we witnessed it with our own eyes and we recorded your confession.

Inder was shocked.He stared at Mandakni and Shravan as he realized that they only called the Police men here to catch him red handed.They handcuffed him while Harshwardhan and Abhay tried to escape.

Mandakni:Arrest them too.They are also involved in it.

Harsh:No,we are not.

Police:We will decide what to be done with you and your son later.So come with us now.

They arrested them also.

Inder was sitting inside the cell.

The constable came and told him:Somebody has come to see you.

Inder:who?

That person came in front of him.He was shocked to see that person.It was none other than Mandakni.

Inder:You?Why have you come here?

Mandakni:You may be in the jail.But how can I just ignore you Chachu?You thought that since you are arrested I will leave you alone?Never!I can never leave you like that.

Inder was scared.
