felix: let's meet up after school
felix: i have something i want to talk to you about.

this confused me greatly, because felix and i rarely texted. we were merely acquaintances.

i hid my phone in my bag, away from the teacher's line of sight.

minho: what's up? anything wrong? and i have swim practice

felix: it'll be quick

after school ended, i met felix by his homeroom. then, we headed for the stairs together until we were in an area that was a bit secretive.

i asked him what the problem was, and felix inhaled a huge breath.

"do you know han jisung?"

on instinct, my heartbeat raced. what if felix knew about my past history with that boy?

but then felix added, "he's chan's cousin. he moved from malaysia to stay with chan's family for a while. two years ago though, he mysteriously disappeared."

my eyes narrowed, and i shrugged. "...okay?"

"it's just... chan was the last person seen with him. i know he hates it when others speculate stuff about him, but i just, i don't really trust the guy, okay?" felix continued.

"but you guys are together?" my words came out quite bitter, but felix didn't seem to notice that.

"if you've noticed, i've been spending less time with him," felix replied, nervously playing with his cotton candy pink locks. "i'm just being careful. you should be too."

"what if his involvement in jisung's disappearance is just a rumour?"

"what if it's not?"

after felix left, i kept thinking about what he told me.

i was confused, and i wished you were still here so that i could talk to you about this.

maybe felix was just jealous of me?

i contemplated telling chan about it.
