THE PLASTICS GOT THEIR NAME IN MIDDLE SCHOOL after they all watched Mean Girls in Willow Monroe's basement. The name stuck, and sure, for awhile the group stayed close but, that all changed on a rainy night the day before their Sophomore year began. With Lorenzo at the wheel, the group got into a car wreck, tearing them all apart.

Boden went his own way, dropping out of school before the year ended. Slowly, the entire group started growing apart after that, reeling from the losses they had been through. There was no longer any plastics, just small broken pieces of what they were.

Boden left town, Willow and Rosie remained best friends, and for a few months, Alexis and Lorenzo dated. Summertime rolled around and things just weren't the same as they used to be anymore so, the Monroe girl decided to plan a day that they all get together.
