Chapter 5 Blurry
A/N: Trigger warning Chapter contains attempted sexual assault, and use of date r*pe drugs also this chapter was originally much bigger, but I'm having to split it in two because it was getting so long. Hoping to have the next chapter up either tomorrow night or sunday afternoon <3 Hope the back to back chapters makes up for how long its taken to update.
ALSO ALSO (XD) I was only intending Blaire to just have a small cameo in this book. But I'm kind of liking the blooming friendship with Bex, and the brother sister like dynamic Blaire has with Eddie so shes staying. *Shrugs*
Bex walked down to the basement of her house that was pretty much set up like a small apartment. She turned on the light.
"This is your room. My parents own the house so you can put whatever you want on the walls." Bex said and turned to Blaire who looked severely uncomfortable.
"You've got a microwave, fridge and freezer. But if you need the stove or oven you'll have to come upstairs. Just give my mom a list of things you'll eat and she will do some shopping." Bex shrugged.
"Okay.." Blaire said and looked around.
"Look...I know you don't like me, and I probably haven't given you much reason to, but I promise you, I am not like my brother or most of my friends and Please don't be mad at Eddie He was really worried about you."
"I'll talk to Eddie tomorrow." Blaire shrugged. "He doesn't know I haven't been shipped off to Maine yet."
"I have to get going. I have to go to the game. I just wanted to get you settled in here before I left." Bex said.
"Okay." Blaire nodded.
"Alright see you later then." Bex said and went to walk up the stairs.
"Hey.. Princess." Blaire said.
Bex turned around
"Yes Elvira?" She smirked.
"Touche." Blaire said. "Uh.. Thanks." She said.
"Of course." Bex nodded and turned around again and went up the stairs. She opened the door at the top of the stairs and and walked through the laundry room into the living room where her parents were frantically getting ready to leave.
"You guys.. Settle down." Bex laughed.
"We're going to be late, which means you are going to be late Rebecca." Her father said.
"The game isn't for another hour, If anything I'm just going to miss practicing the same routine I already know I can do in my sleep." Bex sighed.
"Did you show Blaire to her room?" Mrs. Carver asked.
"Yeah, she's getting settled in."
"Are you sure we can trust her in our house alone dear?" Mr. Carver asked.
"Dad, that was so rude." Bex groaned.
"Well honestly Rebecca, do you trust her?"
"Yes, as a matter of fact I do." Bex said and folded her arms. "I think it will do this family some good having someone that lives a completely different life than we do in this house."
"Rebecca, this girl bullied you relentlessly." Mr. Carver said.
"Well I wasn't very nice to her either at times but the point is, she deserves to have a home that she can feel safe in, and still go to school with her friends that she's known all her life." Bex said.
"She does have a point dear." Mrs. Carver said.
"Fine, don't come crying to me if anything gets stolen." Mr. Carver said and grabbed his car keys. "Let's go."
Bex rolled her eyes and walked ahead of him to the car.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bex was surprised. Hawkins had lost every game up until now, and she wasn't sure what happened but the boys had really turned it around this game. She liked to think it was because Luke wasn't playing in this game due to his face being messed up after her brother got a hold of him.
Bex turned to Chrissy, who had seemed distracted the whole game.
"I can't believe we are actually winning." Bex said. Chrissy, who had been looking at the bleachers, turned back to Bex.
"Huh?" She asked.
"I said I couldn't believe we are actually winning." Bex repeated.
"Oh. Yeah." Chrissy said with a nervous smile.
"You okay Chris?" Bex asked.
"Of course!" Chrissy said and flashed her radiant smile, however being her best friend, Bex could tell it was fake. Something was wrong.
Bex narrowed her eyes giving Chrissy a skeptical look.
"I'm fine Bex." Chrissy said and rolled her eyes clearly frustrated that Bex was pushing the issue.
"Fine. Forgive me for being worried." Bex said and raised her hands.
Chrissy sighed.
"I'm sorry Bex.. I didn't mean to snap. My mom is getting on my nerves is all"
"Its okay Chris, you don't have to lie to me though, I'm your best friend." Bex said.
Chrissy turned back to the bleachers as she spoke. "Yeah I know..Hey, I'll be right back, if anyone asks, tell them I went to the bathroom." Chrissy said without even looking back at Bex she stood up, and hurried back behind the bleachers.
"Okay then." Bex mumbled.
Bex walked close enough so she could see what Chrissy was up to.
What she didn't expect to see was Eddie Munson, Hellfire Club was on fridays. She looked at the time on the scoreboard. He must have finished early, but what really didn't make sense, was Chrissy meeting up with him in secret. What would Chrissy want with Eddie? Bex felt something unfamiliar to her...was she actually jealous right now? Chrissy seemed to talk to Eddie like they were good friends.
Eddie opened his metal lunch pail and pulled a little bag out of it that looked very suspicious. Chrissy took the bag and looked around making sure no one was watching, Bex ducked out of view and watched Chrissy tuck the mysterious baggie into her cheer sweater pocket, and with her other hand she handed Eddie cash. The two smiled and chatted for a minute like old buddies before Chrissy waved at him and started walking away.
Bex hurried back to her spot. Chrissy walked back over.
"Where did you go?" Bex asked.
"I went to get a snack from concessions, I was starving." Chrissy shrugged. "I got a hot dog and ate it on the way back."
Bex felt hurt that Chrissy lied to her a second time.
"Oh." Bex said and turned back to the game.
"You okay Bex?" Chrissy asked.
"Yeah. Fine." Bex said bitterly.
The gymnasium erupted with cheers as Jason scored the winning shot.
As everyone ran out into the middle of the floor to congratulate the basketball team, Bex watched Eddie leave the gym.
Not so fast Munson.. She thought and followed him.
Bex power walked after Eddie as he was walking to his van.
"Hey!" She said.
Eddie turned around, and once he noticed it was Bex who was following him he gave her a boyish grin, a grin that she usually loved.
"Hey Bex." He said and met her halfway. It was only then he noticed she looked angry.
"Why do you look like you could stab me and not think twice about it?" Eddie asked. "I mean.. The serial killer vibe I'm getting from you is hot and all but...it's not what I'm used to from you."
Hot? He thinks I'm hot? No. Bex. Focus. Bex thought and then folded her arms.
"I saw you..talking to Chrissy. Behind the bleachers." Bex said.
"Yeah?" Eddie asked and curled his hair nervously in his fingers.
"It looked like you two were quite friendly with each other." Bex said.
Eddie's nervous look turned into a smirk.
"Wait. Are you jealous, Carver?" Eddie asked with a shit eating grin.
Yes.
"What? No! Of course not!" Bex lied. "I saw you give her something out of your lunch pail. And she gave you money for it and when I asked her where she went she lied to me." Bex said.
"Well I hate to break it to you sweetheart but shes been buying from me since she was a freshmen, and the reason we look friendly, as you called it, is because we are friends. Not that your asswipe of a brother or anyone else knows. Well..except for you now." Eddie shrugged.
Bex glared at him.
"Buying what from you?" She asked.
Eddie opened his lunch pail and held it out so Bex could see, inside there were a few baggies of weed in the lunch box.
"That is what you carry in that thing all the time??" Bex practically shrieked.
"Well what did you think I carried in it?" Eddie asked.
"I don't know Munson, maybe a damn sandwich." Bex said.
"You..are a little too much for me right now." Eddie chuckled.
"What the hell does that mean?" Bex asked.
"You're freaking out. Its not that big of a deal." Eddie said.
"It is a big deal Eddie. You're selling drugs." Bex hissed.
"Its just Pot. Its harmless. It's not like heroin or coke." Eddie defended himself.
"Drugs are drugs Eddie, I mean..I really have to think about wether or not I can continue tutoring you. If my parents found out you sell drugs..if anyone found out...It would ruin-"Bex couldn't finish her sentence before Eddie cut her off.
"It would ruin your picture's perfect reputation." Eddie scoffed. "News flash, your reputation is already fucked."
"Why is Chrissy buying from you?" Bex asked.
"She's your best friend you should know." Eddie shrugged.
Bex rolled her eyes.
"You know.. Maybe this was all a mistake. Maybe I should have told Mr. Jones no." She said.
"Maybe." Eddie said.
"You know what? Good luck." Bex said and turned around and walked away from him.
—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bex walked back into the gymnasium wiping tears from her eyes with the sleeves of her cheer sweater.
"There you are." Jason said and walked over to her. "Hey...are you crying?" He asked.
"No. It's just the dust in the gym that made my allergies flare up. I had to walk outside." Bex lied.
"Oh okay. I have one of your asthma inhalers in the truck if you need it."
Bex had flare ups of her asthma every now and then but it wasn't as bad as it was when she was a kid.
"I think I'm good. Thank you for looking out for me though J." She said.
"Of course." Jason smirked and ruffled her hair.
"Jason!" Bex groaned.
"Hey we're going to Benny's to celebrate, you wanna come or do you want me to drive you home?"
Benny's Burgers was an abandoned burger joint that the team liked to throw parties in and drink. Bex only went a couple times with Luke during the summer.
"Can we go by and see if Blaire wants to go? So she doesn't feel left out?"
Jason rolled his eyes.
"Really? She wasn't even here, she obviously doesn't care about it." Jason scoffed.
"Please?" Bex asked and pouted.
"Fine." Jason groaned. "But she's your responsibility." Jason said.
"Jason..she's not a dog." Bex said and followed him to his truck.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once they got to the house, Bex walked down to the stairs to the basement and knocked on the door.
"Yeah?" Blaire called from the other side. Bex opened the door and walked in.
"Hey Hawkins won the game."
"Wow thats a first." Blaire snorted.
"I know." Bex smirked. "Anyways.. Everyones going to Bennys to celebrate and I wanted to know if you wanted to come."
"Define everyone?" Blaire asked.
"Mostly the team and the cheer squad but some other people too." Bex shrugged.
Blaire looked around the basement and shrugged.
"What the hell. Sure." Blaire said. "Whos driving? I have to go get my truck tomorrow from the trailer park."
"My brother. And he's been advised if he doesn't have anything nice to say-" Bex was cut off.
"He'll get punched in the mouth." Blaire smiled.
"I didn't even say anything mean and I got punched in the mouth." Bex said and touched her lip that was still a bit swollen.
"I..kind of have an anger problem. My bad." Blaire said.
"I'll accept that as an apology. Lets go." Bex said. Blaire followed her up the stairs.
"Your parents just let you do whatever?" She asked.
"They think we are going to Andy's." Bex said. "What they don't know won't hurt them."
"Weird. I was 30 minutes late from school because Jones gave me detention, and I got a toaster thrown at me." Blaire said flatly.
Bex blinked at her. "A..toaster?"
"It was broken and my dad was drunk." Blaire said. "Anyways.."
"You don't have to worry about that anymore..okay? No one is going to hurt you here. My parents can be..condescending and stuff..but thats about it." Bex said.
Blaire just nodded and followed her out of the house to Jason's truck.
Bex opened the passenger door and slid in next to Jason. Blaire climbed up in the truck next to her.
—--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bex walked over to Blaire who was just sitting in a booth by herself. She sat down and passed her a cup.
"I don't drink." Blaire said and passed the cup back.
"I got that from just watching you sit here. Its root beer." Bex said and passed it back.
Blaire took the cup and took a sip.
"Thanks." Blaire said.
"What are you doing anyways?" Bex asked.
"People watching. How much have you had to drink?" Blaire asked.
"1 beer so far." Bex said. "I don't get sloshed like the rest of these guys do. I feel bad for the freshmen. Lucas. They've already got him wasted." Bex said and rolled her eyes.
"Why do you even come to these?" Blaire asked.
"I don't know everyone else does." Bex shrugged.
"Look, eventually you've gotta stop doing what everyone else does and do your own thing." Blaire said. "You're never going to get anywhere being a clone of every other popular kid in this stupid town."
"Tell my parents that." Bex sighed.
"I mean if you really want me to, you know I will." Blaire shrugged.
"Maybe someday." Bex said and paused for a moment. "Can I pick your brain for a bit about Eddie?" She asked.
"What do you want to know?" Blaire asked.
"I found out he sells drugs." Bex whispered.
"Please." Blaire snorted. "He sells pot. Thats hardly drugs and if you think what he is doing is bad, what you are doing is much worse and you are a hypocrite. Alcohol brings out the worst in people. Weed just gives you the munchies and makes everything funny. Its the only thing that calms my Bipolar ass down." Blaire said.
"I honestly didn't think of that." Bex sighed. "Well now i feel like an asshole." Bex groaned.
"Let me guess..you blew up on him when you found out?" Blaire asked.
"Yeah kind of. I saw him selling to Chrissy before the game ended and she lied to me about what she was doing and that made me mad and I took it out on Eddie." Bex frowned. "He'll probably never talk to me again."
"The thing about Munson is...this entire town thinks he runs a cult, people throw shit at him from their cars, they call him terrible names, and they treat him like trash, but if anyone of them were in need of help and he was around he would help without thinking twice because that's the kind of guy he is." Blaire said. "I think hes a knucklehead for it, but...he does what he does." Blaire said.
"Oh.." Bex said she felt terrible for taking her anger with Chrissy out on Eddie.
Bex and Blaire looked over as Luke joined them at the booth.
Blaire raised an eyebrow and looked him up and down.
"See something you like, freak?" Luke asked.
"Not at all, grow some tits and we'll talk." Blaire shrugged.
Bex spit her beer out to avoid choking, she didn't expect Blaire to say that at all.
Blaire turned to her and smirked. Bex wiped her lip.
"What do you want Luke?" She asked.
"I just wanted to talk to you is all.." Luke shrugged.
"What's there to talk about Luke?" Bex scoffed.
"Can I not apologize?" Luke asked.
"You can, but it wont do any good. Whats done is done. We are over." Bex said.
"Come on Bexie, just let me talk to you. I got you a drink." Luke said.
Bex sighed and looked at Blaire.
"Need another Root Beer?" She asked.
"I could use another." Blaire shrugged.
"I'll be right back." Bex said and stood up.
Blaire nodded at her. Bex nodded at Luke to follow her.
"Whats up with you and Blaire? Are you two suddenly friends?" Luke asked.
"I have no idea. We are friendlier than we were earlier today." Bex shrugged as she made her way to the drink table.
"I already got you a drink." Luke said. Bex took the cup from him and took a drink. "I really shouldn't be talking to you after what you did to me...but...you have until I get this root beer to Blaire to say what you have to say." Bex said and took another drink of the beer in her hand.
"Look...I know, I fucked up." Luke sighed. "Its just..I thought we were moving forward in the relationship, but every time I thought that, you were like a brick wall."
"I wasn't ready Luke. I tried telling you that several times." Bex said and took another drink. Finishing the cup and tossing it in the trash beside Luke.
"I know, and I'm an asshole for not listening." Luke said. "What I did..was uncalled for. But... I miss you. I miss us." Luke said and pushed a blonde curl out of her face letting his hand rest on her cheek."
Bex leaned into his touch for just a moment before coming to her senses. She shook him away and turned to the drink table behind her.
"You should have thought of that before you screwed that other girl." She said and poured a root beer for Blaire.
/"Alright.. Fine." Luke sighed
Bex turned around with Blaire's root beer. She looked ahead of her, and her vision blurred. She figured it was because she was a little tipsy and she turned around too fast. She shook her head trying to get her vision to clear up but it didn't.
"You okay?" Luke asked. His voice sounded distant, but she knew he was right in front of her.
"Yeah." Bex said and took a step forward. She lost her balance and dropped Blaire's root beer on the floor.
Luke grabbed her before she fell.
"Whoa.. easy Bexie."
"I don't know what's wrong with me Luke." Bex slurred.
"You probably just had too much to drink." Luke said. "You're fine." He chuckled. Bex blinked at him trying to clear her vision. He leaned in and kissed her. She pushed him away.
"No, Luke!" She said.
"Oh come on Bexie, I thought we were having a moment." Luke said.
"What did you do to my drink Luke?" She asked.
"You honestly think I would drug you? Please you had way too much to drink." Luke scoffed.
"You're lying." Bex said and tried to get out of his grasp.
"Come on, lets get you into the kitchen away from everyone else so no one knocks you over."
Bex knew if he got her into the kitchen area that was always dark because the lights didn't work back there, he would have more of an advantage to do whatever he wanted.
"No, Luke. I don't want to. I'm going to go find Blaire."
"Bex I'm just trying to help you!" Luke pressed.
"No.. I don't think you are." Bex said and pushed him off of her finally.
Bex stumbled through the crowd of drunk teenagers that were dancing. She could barely see where she was going because everything was blurry. After getting pushed and pulled around in the crowded makeshift dance floor, she finally found her way back to the booth her and Blaire had been sitting in.
"Help." She said and flopped over in the seat across from Blaire.
"You got fucked up Barbie." Blaire said. "And you forgot my root beer."
Bex just mumbled in response.
"Bex?" Blaire asked and raised an eyebrow. She got up and walked around to the other side of the booth and nudged Bex.
"Hey.. you okay dude?" She asked.
Luke approached the table.
"Hey, Jason wants me to take Bex home." He said. Blaire narrowed her eyes suspiciously at him.
Blaire felt a hand wrap around her wrist and try to squeeze. She looked at Bex who could barely hold her eyes open. She turned back to Luke.
"You absolute shit stain." She spat. "Did you fucking drug her?"
"She just had too much to drink." Luke rolled his eyes.
"I know what too much to drink looks like. And I know for a fact she only had two drinks, the one she was drinking before, and the one you gave her. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out you put something in that drink."
"Believe what you want to believe, but her brother wants me to take her home. So get out of the way." Luke scoffed.
"No." Blaire said. "Jasons just a high school sports jerk, and he did a lot of damage to your face. I'm a State Champion boxer. I break peoples faces for shits and giggles. If you want to try and get around me, to get her best of luck to you." Blaire said and stood up pushing the sleeves of her hooded jacket up.
"Whatever." Luke said and walked away.
Blaire turned around and helped Bex out of the booth. "Let's get you out of here." She put Bex's arm around her shoulders and helped her to walk outside. Jason was unloading another beer keg from his truck.
"I need your keys." Blaire said.
"No way." Jason laughed and then looked at Bex who looked nearly unconscious leaning against Blaire.
"What the hell happened?"
"Roofie Romeo Luke put something in her drink. Then he said you told him to take her home."
"The fuck I did." Jason seethed.
"I figured. Now that we are on the same page, go in there and kick his ass, but first give me your keys so I can get Bex home." Blaire said.
Jason sighed and tossed her his keys.
" My Mom and Dad should be asleep, probably get her down in the basement with you to avoid going up the stairs and waking them up."
Blaire nodded and started walking to the passengers side of the truck.
"Hey." Jason said. Blaire turned around.
"Thanks..you know, for helping her."
"She helped me, I figured I'd return the favor." Blaire said and opened the passenger door. Jason helped her get Bex in the seat and put the seat belt on.
"Don't destroy my truck."
"Got it, I'll be sure to blast my devil music all the way to the house and rub all my freak dust all over it." Blaire said sarcastically and walked over to the driver's side.
Jason just shook his head and walked back into Benny's.
Blaire got in the truck and put the seat belt on before starting the truck. She glanced at Bex.
"How did I get involved in your problems?" She sighed. "Now people will think we're friends." She said and shuttered. "Of course Friends or not..there was no way I was letting you leave with him. Maybe next time don't take a drink from someone whos already proven to you he's an asshole." Blaire finished her little speech to Bex who was like talking to a wall at the moment because she was half knocked out.
"Right." Blaire sighed and pulled out of Benny's parking lot.
—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bex opened her eyes and let out a groan. Her head was throbbing.
"I went upstairs and found some aspirin." Blaire said. Bex sat up quickly, startled. She wasn't used to someone talking to her right when she woke up. She looked around and realized she was in the basement, which had been turned into Blaire's room.
"Your Dad made coffee, He said you like yours black, which..is gross but you do you." Blaire said and held out the coffee cup.
"Thanks." Bex said and took the cup and took a sip. "Thank you for getting me out of that mess last night. I may not have been totally conscious but I heard what you said...in the truck"
"Don't mention it.." Blaire shrugged. "I don't think Luke is going to be bothering you again."
"What makes you think that?" Bex asked and sipped at her coffee.
"Before I brought you home, I brought you to the police station..and filed a report and then to the hospital to get your blood tested for evidence. I put up with a lot of shit, but..attempted rape? Absolutely not."
"The last thing I really remember was you talking in the truck." Bex said. "I don't remember the police station or the hospital."
"You were really out of it at that point. But I have a copy of the report, and your blood test..which you tested positive for ketamine, and I took that back to the police station and Hopper said he was going to make the arrest Monday after doing his own investigation.. Luke is 19. You're 17 so he's about to get slapped with a pretty big charge. So like I said, he won't be bothering you anymore."
"What is Ketamine?" Bex asked.
"Its a date rape drug." Blaire replied.
"I didn't think Luke would ever go that far.." Bex said and her eyes welled up with tears and she began crying. The gravity of the situation that almost was, hitting her in the chest like a sack of bricks.
"Oh.. you're crying. Uh,.." Blaire trailed off and looked around. 'I'm not good at this." She said.
"If you hadn't been there...theres no telling what would have happened." Bex said.
"Well.. I could tell you, but that would just make you cry more." Blaire said. "I don't mean to be insensitive but.. I'm not good with the whole emotions thing." Blaire added.
"Its fine." Bex sniffled, trying to calm down.
"Thank you..for everything you did last night.. I know you don't want to be friends but..it means a lot that you went out of your way to help me."
"Like I said earlier don't mention it...anyways, I've got to go get my truck and some more of my stuff. And I'm sure you have your own stuff to do today."
"Yeah." Bex said.
"Oh..and be prepared, Hopper is going to show up today to talk to you and your parents. Considering you're a minor he has to keep your parents informed."
"That will be fun." Bex said sarcastically, and Jason will probably be pissed because they'll know about the party now."
"I think he'd rather his sister didn't get assaulted." Blaire said.
"Yeah.." Bex sighed.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eddie sat on his porch flipping through his Hellfire Club character sheets. He came across Blaires and sighed. He hated that she was leaving, and he hated that he felt it was mostly his fault. All he wanted to do was help his friend and like always every time he tried to be helpful it blew up in his face.
It was going to be tough trying to find someone to replace her so late into the campaign but the show must go on. He had a new group of freshmen that he cared for like they were brothers and he couldn't let them down.
A sudden loud thump sound stole Eddie from his thoughts. He looked up and over towards the Nolans trailer. He saw a shadow of someone go by the window.
Oh Hell no. He thought there was no way he was going to let anyone loot through his buddys things. He got off his porch and walked towards Blaires trailer. The door was open slighly. He slowly walked up the steps and pushed the door open enough for him to squeeze in. He snuck through the living room and picked up the baseball bat that was behind the couch and then headed down the hallway towards Blaire's room. A floorboard in the hallway creaked. Eddie cringed as the shuffling in Blaire's room came to a stop. He tightened his grip on the bat in his hands as he heard footsteps sneaking his way.
The door to the room swung open and he and the intruder both let out a scream and swung the weapons in their hands. Both of them ducked out of the way and then looked at each other.
"Eddie?? What the fuck?" Blaire asked.
"What do you mean what the fuck? I should be asking you what the fuck!" Eddie said. "I thought you got shipped out last night!" Eddie exclaimed. "I thought someone was in here jacking your shit."
"No...in a odd twist of events..I'm staying with the Carvers." Blaire shrugged.
Eddie tossed the bat to the side.
"Yeah, did not see that coming at all." He said.
"Me either..." Blaire sighed. "Sorry I missed Hellfire last night. I was moving in with Bex."
"Its okay, I'm just glad you're staying...I'm sorry I told Bex about your Dad." Eddie said.
"Don't be...you did the right thing. I don't know how much longer I could have put up with his shit before I ended up killing him." Blaire said. "I'm sorry I was such an asshole to you yesterday."
"Its okay Blaire. I know you've got a lot going on up there." He said and patted her on the head. Blaire narrowed her eyes at him
"Don't pat me on the head Munson."
"How are you fitting in with the Carver's?" Eddie asked.
"So far I'm like a ghost in the house. Bex is really the only one who talks to me but Its only been a day." Blaire shrugged. "I went to a party at Benny's last night..."
"Bullshit." Eddie smirked. "There is no way you went to one of those jock parties."
"I did. Bex invited me, Hellfire was already over and I was bored so I went." Blaire said.
Eddie pouted. "My little Blaire is going out and socializing."
"Can it Munson. If I didn't go, Bex would have ended up getting really hurt."
Eddie's demeanor turned on a dime.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"You know that guy she was dating? Luke?" Blaire asked.
"Yeah..." Eddie said.
"He put ketamine in her drink last night and then tried to get her to leave with him saying Jason wanted him to take her home because she was too drunk. She only had two drinks, and one of them was the one he gave her."
"Is she okay?" Eddie asked.
"I think she's shook up a bit but yeah."
"He didn't hurt her?" Eddie asked.
"No. I used Jason's truck, and took her to the police station and the hospital to make sure she was going to be okay and get her blood tested for evidence. Then I took her home."
"The thing I really hate about most of those jock's is they feel like they are owed something, especially Luke he's a real dick." Eddie said. "Bex wouldn't give him what he wanted so he tried to take it from her insead. That shit makes me sick."
"Me too. But he's about to get slapped with one hell of a charge. I don't think he'll be a problem anymore."
"Good. Did..she say anything about me last night? We..kind of got into an argument after the game She saw me selling to Chrissy."
"Yeah she asked if I knew you sold drugs." Blaire said. "I told her if she was mad at you for selling Weed she was a hypocrite for drinking because thats way worse than weed. The conversation was interrupted by Luke though."
"Figures." Eddie sighed.
"You like her don't you?" Blaire asked.
"Who Bex? Shes okay..." Eddie shrugged. Blaire put her hands on her hips and looked at him skeptically.
Eddie rolled his eyes.
"So what if I like her? its never going to happen. Shes got her own world and we have ours." Eddie said.
"I guess you're right." Blaire sighed. "I'm going to finish packing my stuff if you want to help, you can fill me in on what I missed with Hellfire last night."
"You got it Nolan." Eddie smirked and ruffled her hair.
"Eddie!" Blaire groaned.
