Kira was nervous about meeting your parents for the first time, questioning if they'd like her or approve of her.

"Kira, calm down," you smiled gently at her, leaning over the console of the car to take her fidgeting hands in yours. "They're going to love you."

"How do you know?" She asked, lips pursed and head turning to look straight ahead.

Reaching up with one of your hands, you hooked one finger underneath her chin and nudged her face so she was looking at you. "Because you, my beautiful girlfriend, are funny, smart, and adorable." Her cheeks pinked with a blush and she smiled, looking down for a moment before returning to meet your gaze. "And most importantly, they'll love you because you love me."

It wasn't a question, it was a statement; you loved the badass, katana-wielding fox and she loved you.

"I do love you."

"And I love you. Now, come on and meet my parents. They're excited to meet you."
