it was around 1 pm when little Dick Gray-son aka Robin was sitting in the L.A park. He had broken off from Batman to become a leader of his own team. but so far it was all a dud. Most of the young super heroes were taken already. And some were to young to be on teams. He was super lonely and partially starting to regret the decision.

Around the block was a young 99% robot 1% human child. He had been a bad car accident when he was young. His dreams of being a football player were done for and he was lonely. He had ran away from his dad who did this to him. That stupid man. Now he did not know what to do. He had no where to go or nobody to be with. He was originally living in Detroit but after 1 year of traveling he was some how in L.A. He was starving too. He rounded the corner to see a park. No one but one boy sat on the swing.

He smiled. He knew his super heroes very well. He Cyborg (his new name since he hated the name Victor) recognized him as Dick Gray-son aka boy wonder. He was also aware that Robin had broken away from Batman. But, he did not know why. So maybe this was a new opportunity  for a new better life. As a super hero.

"hey there." Robins thoughts were interupted by someone. It was a Cyborg kid. Not much older than him.

"Hey." Robin replied not wanting to be rude. 

" Mind me asking," Cyborg said sitting on the swing next to him. "Arent you Robin. The one who recently broke off from Batman?" 

"Yes,yes I am." Robin smiled. "Nice body." 

"Thanks." Cyborg said. "My dad made me into this because I got in a car accident. But he wants me to use it for bad."

"Thats to bad." Robin replied." But. does that mean you want to use it for good?" 

"yeah." Cyborg said. 

"Hey!" Robin said. "Im forming a crime fighting team of young super heroes.Might you wanna join?"

Cyborgs eyes sparkled as he realized this could be a fresh new start. "Of course."

"welcome aboard." Robin said as the two hopped up and shook hands.

"Glad to be here." Cyborg said happily.

And so the duo started playing with each other on the playground and getting to know one another. They soon found out that they werent the only ones meeting each other. 

While the two played tag. A pink haired alien girl was rounding the corner. She also had no where to go.Her parents were dead. Her sister hated her for some reason. She was still very new to earth and learning the new language and lifestyle. She was very lonley and hated it. She wished she could go back to her planet but she could not. He sister had banished her out of hatred. 

She rounded the corner to see two young boys about her age. They were playing something she learned was called tag.She smiled the black haired boy was cute.  And charming she blushed. Maybe theyd liked to be friends with her.

She slowly approached the childrens out door play area. She felt like turning back when the robot had noticed her. She jumped as he called out to her.

"hey there." He said. She froze up for a spilt second. Before turning around and smiled. Robin stopped in his tracks to see what was going on. He turned around to see a gorgeous pink haired girl. He blushed but quickly hid it. He would be embarassed to be seen blushing. 

"Hello there fellow children." She said happily waving. " I am the Star fire." Her Tamarainian name was Kori but that translated to Starfire on earth.

"Hi Starfire." Cyborg said. "Im Cyborg. And this is Robin."

Robin what a nice name.

" I was wondering if I could do the joining in with you to the game of tag." Star asked." And if you could be my close acquaintance."

"Wed love you to join us and be friends." Robin said the butterflies in his stomach started forming

"JOY!" She said jumping up and floating. This caught Robins attention.

"Woah you have super powers?" He exclaimed. "Thats so cool."

"Well you can do the saying of the that." She said " I was born with them." 

This gave Robin an Idea. "Hey what if you join our team? " He asked happily " Im making a group of people that fight all the bad people in the world. And you seem like a good fit."

"I would the love to!" She exclaimed. "It sounds like the super fun."


Robin smiled. Now he had enough for a team. One had gone to three in less than three hours. The new trio then started to goof and play around again when a little demon girl was walking down the street. She had left her dad due to him wanting her to use her demonic powers for bad and she wanted to use them for good. 

She rounded the corner and noticed a group a kids at the park. They were playing and goofing around. She smiled. Maybe they could be friends. 

She started approaching the play area. Normally she would not be allowed to be at something like this. But she didnt care. She was on her own now. And that meant she could do what she wanted. 

Starfire was the first to notice the small girl. She was happy to see a possibly new friend to join the team. 

"Oh hello the there." Starfire said. The boys didnt notice until Raven decided to talk back.

" Hey" she responded. 

The boys stopped and came over to the new comer. They assumed theyd probably have a new friend by the time they got done. 

" I am the Starfire."  The alien said. " And this is friendsCyborg and Robin."

The little demon girl smiled. She started feeling more comfort able with them. 

 "Im Raven."

"Say." Robin said " You look a little too young to be on your own. Wheres your parents?" 

Raven sighed. 

" I do not know about my mom but, My dad and I are demons. And he wants me to use my powers for bad but I want to use them for good he always yells and screams at me. So I snuck out and ran off. 

This got Robin thinking they could really use powers as strong as Ravens. Leading to him having a good idea.

"Hey." He said "Why dont you join us? Were going to fight crime together and be a team you would be a perfect fit!" 

Raven thought a moment. That sounded absoloutely perfect to her. 

"Ill do it." she said.

And so a trio become a group of four. They chased around each other until it started to get late.Robin knew that he had to find a town for them to protect. So gave him an idea. There was a city just Two hours away. It had no super hero team and was always attacked. 

"What are we going to the do for the night shelter this evening?" Starfire asked.

"Glad you asked." Robin said. " Theres a town about two hours from here.If we start going now well get there at 7 pm." 


"uh Robin."  Cyborg said. " A two hour drive could be up to a five hour walk." 

"Right so we aughta get walking." Robin said bravely. " uuhhh NEW TEAM GO!" 

and so the group of friends had started their long and tiring walk. Raven tried to teleport but her powers were not strong enough. She swore that one day she would gain control of her powers and use them correctly.

Soon the team arrived to their new home. Jump City. The city that was highest on the crime list. No one was there to take care of it. Many superheros often had to drop everything and come save it.

"Alright crew." Robin said. "This is our new home. Where well build a brand new life and save this town from going to shambles." 

"But where will we be the staying?" Starfire asked.

Thunder roared as it started to sprinkle rain. Robin quickly looked around. None of them had money for a hotel. He was gonna have to notify Batman that he made a team. From there Batman will give them funds until they all are fully grown. Then they'd be on their own. But thankfully they will be super heroes by then. That means they'd have money for stopping crime. 

Robin hurridly looked around.When he looked towards the bay. Across the bay about 20 ft was an island with a ruined building. But it was just enough to sneak in and settle down.

"There." Robin said. "We'll sneak over there. In the morning we'll have Batman buy the land. Then we can start building our home." 

"But how will we get there?" Cyborg asked "Im 99% robot. I am not water proof." 

Raven perked up. " I can teleport us over there. I couldnt teleport us here cause we were 100 miles away. But I can teleport us  20 feet." 


"Great Rae." Robin said. "Just do your thing." 

Raven closed her eyes summoning the spell before saying. "Azarath metrion Zenthos." And teleporting the group over to the island.

And so the group started to form their new lives. With Cyborgs strength and intellegence the tower was up and running in two weeks. They settled in accepting their future and living their happily every after.

Unaware there was a new friend coming. And he was just down the street.
