Cyborg left on a cloudy afternoon. He had many bills to pay. Luckily he'd be home by supper. He was unaware of what was going to happen upon finishing his errands. This particular thing will impact him, his friends, and a little boy. For the rest of their lives.

Down the street was a rather small figure. He rubbed his green skin with his only gloved hand. Half of his clothes were ripped and he was filthy. The little goblin, Beastboy former and only remaining member of the doom patrol, shivered. It had been two months since his family died in an explosion. His mom, dad, grandpop, and siblings were all gone. Just like his first mommy and daddy.

He was only two when he was bitten by a monkey. This lead to him actually dying but his father with a special serum brought him back. This caused him to turn green and have shape shifting powers. He could turn into animals. A year later his parents died in a boat accident.

Shortly after the passing of his parents. He was adopted by the childhood best friends of his parents. For awhile he was happy. Both of his adopted parents loved him very much. He always played and had fun with siblings. And his grandpop, the man who gave his siblings the same serum that he got to come back to life. He shipped the serum to Beastboys father who put it in his son. He took care of BB and loved him and showed him how to use his powers. Beastboy had special ability along with his powers. He can turn into a hybrid wolf angel and demon mix. He didnt use it much though

All was good until 6 months after the adoption. BB was talking to his dad when he looked at Beastboy with angry eyes. He punched BB afterwards. And did it again. and again.and again. Eventually he was pulled off but the damage was already done. The little goblin had been scared physically and mentally.

Soon after that incident the group was on a mission when they learned they were targeted by the Brain. Which started a fight. That lead to the building starting to burn from the bottom up. Beast boys older siblings used magic to make him fall from the top floor to the ground safely. While he was watching the building blew up killing everyone in it. Including Beastboys family.

Its been two months. Beastboy knew they werent coming back. He was all alone and he was homeles. He wished for a miracle. An angel or something to come down and take him to where he belonged. Home.

up the way Cyborg walked out of the last place he had to be. He heard distant thunder and felt rain started to sprinkle. He started running through an alley way. This was the quickest way to the bay. Which had a boat to help get him home. 

Beastboy felt the rain beating down on his body. He was cold,wet,hungry,and tired.He started crying again. Why did everyone he love die? Was it his fault?

Cyborg turned a corner. The rain was getting heavier so he decided to pull his umbrella out. Running down the way in a hurry before stopping to catch his breath. This is when he heard distant crying. Fearing someone was hurt he got out his torch and started to look around. 

BB continued crying until he heard footsteps. Was someone going to hurt him?

"Hello?" Cyborg called out looking in the way back corner. He shone the light revealing a small figure. A little goblin boy about 4-7 years old. 

Beastboy noticed the rebotic figure too. They stared eachother dead in the eyes.

"Pwease no huwt." Beastboy said. He could barely speak proper language despite being 6. Heck he barely knew how to walk. 

"You poor little fella." Cyborg said pushing aside the shock. He rushed to the goblins side. "what are you doing out here all  alone?"

" No one wike Beastboy" Beastboy said " Beastboy aww awone. evewyone die cause of BB"

" I am sure that is not true." Cyborg said he sat down next to the goblin. "Beastboy? I recognize that name you are. Er was part of the doom patrol."

"Mhm" Beastboy mummered. 

Cyborg felt bad for this little guy. He didnt deserve to be all alone. If Cy could recall correctly he was only six. He smiled looking down at the small boy. "Its okay I wont hurt you."

Beastboy felt comfortable enough to push himself up far enough to waddle across the way to Cyborg. He fell into Cyborgs arms.

"This little guy can barely walk and talk. How was he going on missions like he was?" Cyborg thought to himself as he pulled Beastboy closer in. He looked down to the little goblin. He couldnt just leave him. Cyborg smiled.

"I think I got a home where you'll fit right in." Cyborg said. 

Weally?" Beastboy sniffed. It seems his wish was granted.

"yes." Cyborg answered. " I live with a lot of kid super heroes like you and I. Were training to become crime fighters. And you'll fit right in." Cyborg shared a smile to little Beastboy. 

Beastboy looked up and shared a small smile back. His prayers were answered. Cyborg wrapped his arm around BB.Making sure the umbrella was over the both of them. "lets go home." He said while resuming his walk home.

Back at the tower the smell of casserole filled the air. Star and Robin were playing a card game while Raven read a book. Robin wondered where Cyborg was. He'd probably be on his way right now. The leader looked to consider checking on the casserole. But brushed it off since it had another hour to go. He looked back to the game he and Star were playing. 

Another fifteen minutes had passed when they heard the elevator ding. Robin turned his head to greet Cyborg. All the other titans looked  to Cyborg at first to be carrying something when he walked in. 

"Guys come here I need have something. Or someone." Cyborg said rounding the couch. The others got up from their activities and went to see what Cyborg was talking about.  They crowded around. 

Cyborg bent down revealing a small little goblin. He was so small and tiny. He had his face hidden into Cyborgs chest. The little one peeked out and looked around at the place. Seemed cozy enough. But he was frightened though. 

"Hey little guy." Robin said gently putting his and up and onto the little boy. He seemed hesitant at first but he accepted it. 

"His name is Beastboy." Cyborg said. " I found him on the street all on his own. I couldnt leave him alone."

"OH MY GOSH!" Star said flying over. "Its a little walking green bean!"

"Goblin. Star." Cyborg corrected. he gently held BB out a little bit. " Go ahead say hi."

BB peaked his head out. "H-Hi."

Raven looked at the little goblin. One look at him made her know all hes been through. Thats because of her demon powers. She also felt demonic and angelic energy coming from him. Guess he was a character.

"well." Robin said. " We have a spare room and we could use another member." Robin thought for a moment. " He could stay."

" Thats great." Cyborg said "you hear that little buddy youre home now."

"Home." Beastboy repeated. He was very happy to happy to have a place to call home.

"we got work to do." Cyborg said " And I know a little bit about of him that will be useful to us. But for now a bath."

"Right." Robin said. " Girls you fix the bed in the spare room. We'll work on decorating tomorrow. Cyborg you bathe him. Ill finish dinner."

Cyborg nodded and carried Beastboy through the halway.Beastboy snuggled Cyborg. The robot  smiled down and set him on the ground of the bathroom. "you wait right here BB. Ill run your bath."

Beastboy took the next few minutes to look around. The bathroom was neatly decorated and clean. Unlike what he was used to. 

"Baff." Beastboy said. 

"yes bathtime for you." Cyborg picked up Beastboy and gently placed him in the bathtub. The warm water felt nice against his skin. Beast boy felt relaxed. Cyborg scooped up the water and placed it on Beastboy. 

"There you go buddy." Cyborg said "Just relax." He gently started washing the small goblin from head toe. Beastboy remained calm remembering when his mom or brother would give him a bath with his sister. Occasionally he would squirm or giggle when Cyborg hit a tickle spot. 

Soon Cyborg finished washing Beastboy and placed a little rubber ducky in the water. BB looked at it for a minute. "Look Beastie." Cyborg said picking the duckie up "Quack Quack."

Beastboy watched Cyborg squish the duck. He giggled as Cyborg made the funny noises. He wanted to turn into a duck but didnt feel like it. He just smiled and giggled.

Soon Cyborg pulled the plug and drained the now filthy   water. He gently lifted Beastboy out of the tub and dried him with a fluffy towel. After that he put the small goblin into a white snuggie.

"Come on little guy I think dinner is finished." Cyborg said. He carried Beastboy out to the kitchen and sat him down on a chair.

"Tonight were having Macaroni casserole." Robin said 

" Can have som?" Beastboy asked looking up to Robin.

" Of course you can." Robin said placing a spoonful on Beastboys plate. Raven looked at her new friend. She saw his fear in his eyes at the thought of eating.

" Gosh." Cyborg said. " BB I forgot. This  is Robin,Starfire, And Raven. And Im Cyborg."

Beastboy thought a momment. He then started repeating what he heard. " CyCy, Robi, Wae War,Star."

"Close," Robin said. "we'll work on it." 

"why can he not do the proper speakin?" Starfire asked.

"Im not sure."  Cyborg replied." He was once part of the doom patrol before they died. They were a pretty toxic family."

Beastboy listened to the conversation between them. He remembered his old family. How his daddy hurt him. 

"Owd dada hurt Beastboy." Beastboy said "He sayed that Beastboy kiwwed first mommy and daddy. And Beastboy mistake. Bubbah took care of Beastboy and sissy."

None of the other titans could make out some of the words he was trying to say. But knew what he was saying.

"Its going to be okay." Cyborg said. "That meanie wont hurt you any longer." 

After supper Cyborg showed Beastboy around the tower. While Robin cleaned the dishes and put food away. The two girls on the other hand were in Starfires  room.

Starfire smiled as she finished a blanket. She was sewing it for Beastboy as a welcome gift.It was lime green and had blue tips. Star was sure he would love it and use it every night. 

Raven on the other hand. Was making a teddy bear. It was soft with a lemon scent in it and it was green and purple. She knew Beastboy would like it. She wanted to be his bestest friend. Anf wanted to help him to get through all hard times from now on. 

Soon came 9 pm. Bedtime. Cyborg brought little BB into the bedroom.It was a brick walled room with a closet and a bed. Cyborg set his new little brother friend onto the bed.

"we can go get the decorations tommorrow." Robin said." For now you really need sleep"

The bed felt so soft. Softer than the ground in the alley ways. Beastboy snuggled right into the blankie.The door opened revealing the girls.

"Wait new friend Beastboy." Starfire said. "Me and the friend Raven made you gifts to make you the comfortable." The girls excitedly flew forward.

"Awwe.That was nice girls." Robin said. 
"I made you the soft blankie." Starfire said. She dropped the cloth onto her friend. Beastboy snuggled it close to him. He smiled up at Starfire. "Tank." 

"I made you a teddy bear." Raven said sitting on the bed. She handed him the bear. His eyes seemed to glimmer."Tank" He said hugging Rae.

"Awwe." Cyborg said. "Looks like he grown to you  already." 

"Alright guys." Robin said. "we must go to bed."

"Bed." Beastboy repeated.

Robin smiled gently tucking in Beastboy in." Alright off to bed anyone."

"Soft." Beastboy said. 

" I know." Cyborg replied. 

"tired." BB said.

"rest your little head." Robin soothed. "Youre safe now. Youll have us now." 

"Fwiends." Beastboy said before falling asleep.

"yes." Robin said. "friends."

"Goodnight buddy." Cyborg said tucking BB in.

"alright." Robin said. "Off to bed with you guys to."

And so the titans said goodnight to one another. Shutting their bedrooms and falling to sleep as well. Happy that they finally felt complete as a team.
