After a few weeks the students started to heal over all the death and loss. I was still extremely sad about my best friend, but on this occasion I had other things on my mind. Today was the day I was finally gonna talk to Aubrie. There was a party going on that night and I had left Aubrie a note, convincing her to come.

At home I was freaking out, trying to figure out what to wear. "MOM! HELP ME I NEED ADVICE!!!!" My mom slid her way into my doorway. "What's up pumpkin?" She asked from the doorway. "I have a party to go to tonight and I have nothing to wear!" "I'm on it!" She said and then escaped into her room.

"How bout this?" She held up a black velvet spaghetti strap dress and a matching velvet cardigan. "Perfect!" I grabbed the dress and hugged her. "I'm assuming you have someone you want to meet at this specific party?" She asked after I got changed.

My face slightly flushed as I curled my hair and put it into a high ponytail. "Well-uh..yes is it that obvious?" She looked at me like I was the most naive girl in the world. "Well for one thing, you are actually going to a school party so kinda." I laughed a bit.

"So who is the lucky lady?" My mom had always been super supportive of me being a lesbian. My dad was confused at first, but eventually was just as supportive as my mom. "Oh um this girl named Aubrie....You wouldn't know her." "Ok. Have fun sweetie!" My mom kissed my forehead as I walked  out the door.

At the party, I saw Aubrie standing in a corner, all alone drinking from a red plastic cup. I got some punch from the bowl and walked over to her. I stood next to her and said "hi I'm Abi!" I immediately internally reprimanded myself. "What are you thinking you lesbian elephant!"

"Hey." Aubrie said, unenthusiastically. She took another sip of her drink. She was wearing a black leather jacket, some bad ass looking leather pants, and a red low cut silk tank top. I frantically tried to figure out what the heck to say.

"You-uh- having fun?" I looked like the stupidest person on earth. She sighed. "No not really." She looked me up and down. She suddenly looked a tad bit shy. She still looked bad ass. "Ya know what you wanna dip?" I hadn't no clue what to say. 

On one hand, I could be alone with Aubrie, but leaving with the girl everyone thought helped her brother kidnap and kill Jane would lead to social suicide. Fuck it. "Yeah sure." We left out the back door and we drove to the school.

My heart was racing. Why was she taking me to the school? Am I about to be murdered? What Is going on? We hopped the fence and she picked the lock. Out school had a crappy security system so it was easy to get in.

We walked up the stairs into the library where i noticed something in the corner of the room.

That couldn't be a body, could it?.......
