Lydia: Thomas I can't do it you wouldn't understand not Carl not anyone
Thomas: your right I'll never understand (leaves)
At his house
Thomas: she's putting it up
Carl: what
Thomas: my sister Lydia is putting her baby up for adoption saying nobody will understand not you not me
Carl: Thomas just drive around cool down I'll talk to her I'm good at talking to her
Thomas: ok
At home
Lydia: (eating mac and cheese)
Carl: (walks in) Lydia
Lydia: Carl leave
Carl: no Lydia you are not putting the baby up for adoption and your already picked parents
Lydia: Carl
Carl: don't Carl me Lydia I want to be part of his life
Lydia: then why say you didn't care
Carl: Lydia I was upset that you told everyone except me I'm the father I was mad I'm sorry please just let me be the guy that you need and the baby needs please
Lydia: Carl how can I trust you
Carl: trust me please Lydia (holds her hand and kisses her)
Lydia: I know this way to well Carl I can't trust you
Carl: give me a chance to make things right I wouldn't be here if I didn't care about you or the baby
Lydia: look Carl I don't if I want to give it up  or not but I'll allow to meet the parents and be in my life
Carl: (hugs her)  thank you 
Lydia: but your going to have to do more than that Carl though
Carl: (nods)
Lydia: what about Thomas
Carl: I'll handle it if it goes wrong I'll go to you
