Chapter Twenty-Five ~ Exactly Who Are You
Marilyn POV:
"Go and tie everyone up. Leave Nicole and her baby to me." I ordered.
What would I do with Nicole?
We'd simply wait for her to wake up.
Three people each went into every room, ready to tie up who lies there.
I knew which room Nicole was asleep in.
I didn't bother it.
Aullie soon brought out Moo, her hand over his mouth, holding a knife to his neck.
She stuffed cloth into his mouth and set him on a chair.
Julia had to help her tie him down because he was trying to wiggle loose.
He stopped wriggling when Pilot brought out a gun and held it straight at his head.
He froze and let the two girls tie him up.
Next was Lonnah.
And she did NOT go down without a fight.
She jumped up out of bed and started punching Lewis.
She didn't care that there was a gun to her chest.
Ariel and Allia was called into the room, but she still kept punching and kicking.
I told Pilot and Brian to go in there and help them.
That was an even worse idea.
Brian walked in and made her freeze for a freeze for a second.
Then she launched out of Allia's arms and started hitting him.
"Pilot!" I whispered in a firm voice.
Brian put his arms up in defense, but every hit she got on him was bound to leave a bruise.
Pilot had to tranquilize her to get her to stop fighting.
She went limp on top of Brian and Pilot picked her up and put her in a chair.
"Damn, Marilyn," He whispered to me.
"I'm running out of tranquilizers."
Lonnah would awake again in a few minutes, so he put cloth into her numb mouth and tied her up, nice and tightly.
"We shouldn't have done them first." Ariel smiled and whispered.
I laughed softly.
"At least you're prepared now. They're fighters." I said.
I motioned to Aullie, Julia, Markis, Allia, Max, and Lewis.
"You six. Go down to the basement and tie up Nathan. I may send down Pilot and Marlee as well. It may take all of us." I whispered.
"Does it really take that many people to tie him down?" Brian asked.
I looked at him.
"Probably more."
"How?"
"He was working for me at once, Brian," I whispered.
"I don't just hire anyone."
Maple nodded.
I now realized that she must've stolen some of their gauze and tape to cover her hand.
The six hitmen walked down the stairs, silently, and tiptoed to Nathan.
Pilot soon followed.
All six of them were soon holding down Nathan.
Aullie was on top of him, trying to cover his mouth, trying to keep him from screaming for Hannah.
"Shut the fuck up!" She whispered harshly.
"HANNAH!" He yelled, but Pilot shot the tranquilizer.
"FUCK! HE MIGHT HAVE WOKE THEM UP." Pilot immediately jumped back up and ran back up stairs.
Nathan was still moving, the medicine had less effect on him than it did the others.
"MARILYN!" Lewis shouted for me as Nathan landed a hit in his ribs and had Markis by the neck.
I rushed forward and held a gun to Nathan's head.
"Nathan." I whispered to him.
He went still.
"Please don't hurt my sister. Please. You can do whatever you want to me. Just please, don't kill Hannah." He begged.
He didn't sound pitiful, he just sounded concerned.
"Hannah caused most-" I began.
"NO!" He said.
"You did."
He grabbed my arm and my eyes flashed.
A million things rushed to my mind at once, overwhelming me and almost making me scream.
"Marilyn."
Pilot was suddenly shaking me.
Brian was beside me, his hand on my shoulder.
I blinked.
Nathan passed out.
"I hit him." Pilot said.
"I'm sorry, you didn't give me the order, but he laid hands on-"
Brian interrupted him by pulling me away.
"Lily? Are you okay? Can you hear me?" He asked.
I slowly nodded a yes.
"Name three people in this room and what they are wearing." He said.
"Aullie, Pilot, and You. Aullie and Pilot in their uniforms, you're in your clothes." I said.
He nodded.
"Okay. She's fine. Now, let's go finish tying everyone up."
I got to see everyone suffer this time.
Neko was brought inside, and she lied there, unconscious.
We tied her up.
Nathan sat beside her.
He woke up early, panicking and asking for his sister before his mouth was stuffed with cloth.
Chrissy and Scotty went down easily.
They were terrified, they wouldn't stop crying.
Nogla was kicking and trying to grab Lui.
He kept asking for Neko.
When he saw her there, unconscious, he took her as dead, and started sobbing.
He became limp and was too miserable to fight.
Lui was frozen.
He didn't fight at all.
He just gave in, asking Aullie quietly if she knew what happened to Macie.
She didn't answer.
She didn't put cloth in his mouth.
He couldn't find his son.
Delirious was screaming and wouldn't let go of Evan.
We had to tie them up together because he wouldn't let go.
He cried into Evan's shoulder as he held his hand.
He was in hysterics.
Marcel was dragged out sleeping, he wouldn't wake up.
Mini was crying like a little girl, and Tyler was screaming and cussing.
Mini had to be tranquilized, too, Tyler soon being knocked out with him.
They were limp in each other's tied up arms.
Hannah was nowhere to be found.
We left the door to the first room in the hallway on the left closed.
Soon it would open.
Nicole POV:
I knew this would happen.
I smiled to myself as I heard Nathan's scream downstairs.
They're here.
I wasn't panicked, I wasn't worried.
I was silently giggling to myself.
When everything went quiet, I assumed that everyone was already tied up.
I stood up, in my nightgown, and walked to the door, opening it.
I smiled as I walked out to the living room, seeing all my friends tied up there.
Marilyn's gun stared me straight in the face already; she'd pointed her gun at my door, just waiting for me to wake up.
I laughed silently.
"Nicole." She smiled.
"Delilah." I hissed, grinning.
Brian stepped forward beside her.
I smiled at him.
"Put the gun down, Delilah." I said.
She shook her head.
"I've been waiting for so long to do this. I was put in a fucking prison because of you. It's all your fault." She said.
"Where are your men?" I asked.
"They're all over there." She pointed to the far left corner.
"There are more of them." I said.
She nodded.
"I figured that I needed more than three to do the job. Especially since you have a guard cat now." She rolled her eyes.
I looked across the floor, and there she was, in human form.
"Where's Macie?" I asked her.
Lui's eyes darted to her's, glittering of curiosity and concern.
She laughed.
"My dear, Macie's dead. A Rehabilitator shot and killed her. He was trying to restart the gangs. We stumbled upon her before your kitten attacked us."
Lui became still beside Nogla.
It was utterly silent until he let out a loud, piercing scream.
"MACIE!" He screeched.
"OH MY GOD, MACIE!"
Tears were pouring from his eyes now, Nogla trying to reach over through his restraints to calm him down.
"She's really gone?" I asked, my ears tearing up.
She was my best friend.
She'd helped me through the problems I had with Tyler.
Who killed her?
Who took her in the first place?
"Aullie was the last of us who saw her alive." Marilyn whispered.
She gestured to a girl who's face was racked with guilt.
"I-I... I raped her..." She whispered, her eyes becoming watery.
Lui's eyes filled with rage.
"YOU BITCH! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU FOR THIS!"
He tore out of his arm restraints and tried to stand up with the chair he was tied to.
"PILOT!" The girl, Aullie, screamed, trying to step back from him, and she fell backwards, on top of Lonnah.
Lonnah, who was awake by now, somehow tore out of her restraints, and started choking the hell out of Aullie.
Delirious shot forward towards Lily and my brother was trying to keep him still.
Pilot handed the dart gun to Markis and he and Brian stood in front of Marilyn in case someone actually went to lay a hand on her.
"EVERYONE STOP!" Marilyn screamed.
Everyone looked at her.
She snatched the tranquilizer dart gun away from Markis and ordered everyone back into the corner.
Brian and Pilot were ordered to stand a couple of feet away from her.
She shot Lonnah in the neck again and Aullie pushed out of her grasp, falling down onto the ground and running back to the corner.
I walked over to Lui, who was now tipped over forwards onto the ground and held there by his chair, and lifted it back up, stuffing cloth in his mouth and tying him back up more tightly this time.
Delirious, well, I just left him on the ground where he was.
He wouldn't get to me.
Lonnah's eyes were barely open now, Moo pulling her to his chest and whispering to her calmly.
Marilyn turned around and shot Aullie with a tranquilizer in the head.
"That's what you get whenever you act when I don't order you to, got it?"
She said.
Everyone nodded and Ariel rushed to grab Aullie before she fell to the floor.
"Where's Skylar?" I asked.
"We don't know. We don't know where Keegan is, either. Anyway, let's get down to business..."
She smiled.
"Hand me your daughter."
I shook my head.
"I can't. I won't." I refused.
"You idiot." She rushed forward and stuck the gun closer into my face.
"I wasn't asking. I was demanding."
I shook my head.
"You're so fucking pathetic."
I laughed.
"You're the pathetic one, Delilah." I smiled.
"How am I pathetic?" She grinned.
"You're constantly running away from your problems. You're so scared that you take out your pain on others." I accused.
"What problems? I don't have any problems." She growled.
"So, you're saying that your voices aren't a problem? You're saying that your past isn't hurting you now? Delilah, you can do so much better! You're throwing some much away!" I yelled, scolding her.
She shook her head.
"There is nothing to throw away. The only thing I will throw away now would be your life." She hissed, aiming the gun to my skull.
I was panicking inside.
I had to do this to save my friends.
"And after that? You're throwing away not only your life, but Brian's. And your baby's." I said.
She looked at me, confused.
"What?"
"You can't raise a child in a mental hospital, Delilah." I told her.
"What the bloody hell are you talking about?" She screamed.
"Congratulations, Delilah, why didn't you tell us about your baby?" I asked.
She froze and turned around to look at Brian, who's mouth was wide open.
"I knew from experience. From the very moment you walked in here." I grinned.
Delilah put her hand to her stomach.
"Where is your daughter?" She asked.
"Not with you. She never will be." I laughed.
She pointed the gun to my head.
"WHERE ARE THEY?!"
"Delilah!!" Brian yelled.
"No, Brian, it's too late now. I gave her a chance." She smiled.
Pilot's eyes glowed with hate.
"Shoot her, Marilyn."
"Stop!!" A familiar voice screamed out and ran into the room.
"Hannah, run!" A bloodied Nathan yelled out.
Markis, Allia, and Pilot stood next to him, throwing hateful glances his way.
Disloyalty is the worse crime you could commit, Nathan had told me.
You were sure to be killed.
I chuckled.
Brian would be dead by now.
"Hannah." Nogla said, trying to warn her.
Marilyn whipped around to her.
"Well, look who's here. My old childhood friend, Hannah. It's just a party, isn't it?" Marilyn smiled.
"Delilah. I can't believe you. After all those years of being the one being beaten, you're the one beating others!" Hannah screamed, throwing a glass figurine to the ground off my shelf in anger.
At this point, I thanked her for the distraction silently.
"I was never being beaten. Mother loved me!" Delilah said.
"You wish she did. All you want is love, you're so hungry for it, that you don't care what it does to you. You don't care if it costs you your whole life, or your best friend, or your brother. All you want is power and to hurt others! If you want to be loved, Delilah, why can't you love others?!" Hannah hissed at her.
Marilyn's teeth gritted in rage.
"I DO LOVE OTHERS! I LOVE MY BROTHER!"
"LOVING OTHERS MEANS NOTHING IF YOU DON'T LOVE YOURSELF!" Hannah hollered at her.
Tears came to her eyes now, her lips quivering.
"Delilah, you used to be my best friend. I loved you dearly. Every single God damn day, I would wait and wait and wait, until it was in the afternoon, and finally, I would be able to go over to your house and talk. I took you for granted, I swear I did, because the next day, you weren't Delilah anymore. You were Marilyn. And you were gone. That doll I made you? You threw it away. You left with Aiden, and I didn't see you again. You were my only friends. I was alone too, you know. I had pain, too, you know. At least I didn't sit there and WALLOW in it, like you do."
Hannah threw a small doll down to her feet and Marilyn stared at it.
Hannah stood there, crying.
"Do you really want to waste your life like this? Do you really want to go to a mental hospital for killing me?" I asked.
"Do you want that baby growing up and knowing Daddy was a killer, and Mommy was a psychopath?"
Marilyn hissed and aimed the gun at me again.
"I'm going to fucking blow your brains out, and everyone who stands in my goddamn way."
I smiled.
"Brian betrayed his friends, not once, but twice, for you, and you still do this." I laughed.
"Shows how much you love him."
"I love him with all my heart."
"And you're going to waste your lives like this?" I asked.
"Yeah, sure, you get revenge. But what good does it do when you're alone in the end? You two would be separated, you know that?"
"We could wait." She said.
"And wait for what, Delilah? Your child to grow up alone with a family he or she doesn't even know?" I asked.
She aimed her gun and my face and her finger slowly flinched towards the trigger.
I took out my gun and quickly fired at her shoulder, resulting in her squealing in pain and falling to the ground.
Pilot, Markis, Allia, and Max were beside her in seconds.
But they couldn't do anything. They weren't ordered.
"Did you guys take me as stupid?" I laughed.
"Brian thought I had no clue. But really, I've been watching, very closely, too. I did my fair amount of research on you, Delilah. While Brian was out visiting you last time, I sneaked into his room and took the gun he had. That's how I got this. When he got home, I drugged his food so he would fall asleep on purpose and give me some extra time. That was when I ran to Luke and gave him the babies, Kayle and Riley. And I made him leave with them as fast as he could. Long gone by now, probably in Washington." I grinned.
"So you see, Delilah, you put your child above everyone else. I would've given you more pain than a shot to the shoulder when I had the chance, but unlike you, I don't hurt innocent pregnant ladies. Even if they aren't so innocent after all." I laughed.
She grabbed at her shoulder and glared up at me.
"Go to hell." She cursed.
I smiled. "Doesn't feel too good getting pierced in the shoulder, does it?"
"You played a good game though. I would be scared of your men, but I know you wouldn't let me die by their hands. You want me all to yourself. Game over, Delilah." I said, smiling evilly.
She growled and snatched the gun away from Pilot and pointed it again.
She just doesn't give up, does she?
As I took my gun back out and aimed it to her face, a loud, unfamiliar voice chimed out.
"DELILAH MARIAM VALLE. PUT DOWN THAT DAMN GUN RIGHT NOW."
A female now jumped down from the top of the stairs. She had long, red hair, and her eyes closely resembled Delilah's.
I recognized her a small bit from the police report of Delilah's dead father.
It was the daughter he'd forced away, the one he sold to lunatics.
She wore all black now, armor from her hood to the tip of her toes. A crossbow was planted onto her back, and I imagined many more weapons were beneath the armor she wore.
"Who the hell are you?" Pilot asked her.
"I'm here for my sister." She pulled out the crossbow.
Sam POV:
There she was.
Lying on the ground, a gun in her hand.
My baby sister.
I fought back tears of happiness.
Tanner would be so happy that I finally found my family.
Delilah squealed when she saw me.
"No way!! Samantha!!!" She started crying.
It wasn't long before I started crying myself.
She stumbled when she stood up, and she ran over to me grinning the widest grin I'd ever seen.
"Oh my God, I missed you so much." She cried into my shoulder.
She dropped the gun and held onto me.
"Delilah, we have so much to catch up on." I sighed.
Nicole POV:
"Who exactly are you?"
I asked, knowing the answer.
She turned to us and smiled.
"Samantha Z Valle." She bowed.
"You can call me Z."
