It was twelve o'clock at night.
Scotty and Chrissy showed up and got drunk, too. Terroriser soon joined.
Macie (Lui's girlfriend, aka, the guy who inherited the cruise boat,) was the least intoxicated out of everyone except for me, so she mapped out a sleeping arrangement of our rooms.
"Okay." she said, pushing her hair away from Lui's hoodie that she was wearing.
"We have three guest rooms. One will go to Brock and Lonnah. The second will go to fourzer0seven and Chrissy." she began, pulling up her skinny jeans.
"The last one goes to Mini and Tyler." I whispered in her ear. She nodded.
"Last one's for MiniLadd and Wildcat. The basement will go to Skylar and Brian."
I threw a look to Terroriser to tell him to take care of my baby cousin.
"The third one is for me and Lui." she said in her squeaker voice and then winked to the drunk Calibre across the room.
"The second will be for Daithi and Basically." she took a breath for a second and we all remained looking at her.
"Lastly, there's the main room, which is going to Vanoss and whoever he bunks with, obviously. Any volunteers?" she asked.
"Me!" I almost yelled and then blushed as Evan looked at me. He smiled and winked, and my stomach had butterflies.
"Okay." Macie said.
"Guess I'll sleep on the couch in the living room." Cartoonz said.
"Wait! Wh-where am I suppo- supposed to sleep?" Nicole asked.
"You could always have a slumber party with me here on the couch." Cartoonz winked.
"Ew. No. " Nicole rolled her eyes.
"I have my eyes on someone else."
"Well, where do you wanna sleep?" Macie asked her.
"She could sleep on the futon in our room." Chrissie said.
"Yes! Sounds good." Nicole said.
Tyler started to get wobbly.
"I'm just gonna... take Tyler up to our room." Mini carried Tyler upstairs.
After that, Nicole pushed Macie into the kitchen.
Vanoss started wobbling, too, and he held onto me for support.
Nicole's face looked serious.
Should I check on her? For Evan?
I sat Evan down and he started to bounce up and down on the couch. I laughed.
I listened through the door.
Why would you give Mini and Tyler a room together, Macie? Don't you know how I feel about him? I heard Nicole say.
Listen, I know, I know you have feelings for Wildcat. But you should not keep trying to get situated him. He obviously likes Craig. Macie argued.
I heard Nicole sigh.
You're right, Macie. She said.
Go after Luke. He really is into you. You could tell. He's not so bad. He's just a little confident, that's all.
As I heard Nicole pause, I turned to see everyone going upstairs to bed except for Cartoonz, Vanoss, Lui, and Chrissie.
I put my ear back to the door.
You're right. I heard Nicole say.
Ugh.
I heard fabric touching, and I guessed they were hugging.
I blinked.
"What are you doing?"
I turned around to see Vanoss.
Nicole and Macie opened the door and walked around us to go upstairs in front of Lui and Chrissie.
Cartoonz was getting a blanket.
"Kitchen." I scooted Evan into the kitchen.
"I was, uhh, making sure that the girls were okay."
"Umm, okay." Vanoss said. It was quiet for a moment as we heard the light in the living room click off as Cartoonz went to bed.
"I've been waiting for this." Evan said as I looked at the door.
I turned around to face him.
"What?" I asked.
"Don't play stupid with me, H2O, you know what I mean." he said, laughing.
I was silent.
I looked back up at him.
He grabbed me and started kissing me.
"Evan..." I said.
He kept kissing my neck and I twisted my fingers through his hair.
"Delirious." he mumbled through my skin.
"Evan, upstairs..." I said, gasping as he pinned me against the cabinets.
He stepped away.
"Upstairs." he laughed.
He grabbed my hand and opened the door.
We walked upstairs holding hands in the dark and went to our bedroom.
Evan's voice, saying, I've been waiting for this, played over and over in my mind until we reached the bed.
