mark woke up to the feeling of donghyuck in his arms, his head snuggled into his chest as his chest moved up and down at a steady pace. the candian-korean was still half asleep but he looked around, trying to process what was going on. 

   he looked up to see chenle staring down at him with an amused smile. "god! don't do that!" mark whisper shouted while chenle put a hand over his mouth to stiffle his giggles.

   "looks like someone slept well," he smirked. mark rolled his eyes but couldn't help the small smile that made it's way into his face. "is it time to get up?" mark noticed that it was still dark out, not a single bit of light coming through the window. "yep," chenle nodded making his bed. mark admired the brunette who was asleep in his arms. 

   he felt warm with how close they were and it felt so natural for them to be in that position, if only i could wake up like this every morning, he thought to himself. "haechan-ah," mark called softly.

   donghyuck stirred before his eyes fluttered open and he looked at mark. confusion mixed with sleepiness was shown clearly on his features. "mark?" he asked. "good morning," mark's voice was lower than usual due to having just woken up as well. the sound made donghyuck blush as he slowly realized how they were. the feeling of their legs intertwined under the sheets gave him butterflies.

   "if you'd woken me up earlier i would've moved," donghyuck pulled away, embarrassed. "it's okay, i didn't mind," mark chuckled. the older slowly got out of bed, ruffling his bed head in the process. "c'mon guys, we don't have all day," chenle rushed before leaving the room, probably to see if jisung was awake. 

   mark left to the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face while donghyuck sat up in bed and tried to savor the feeling of being wrapped up in mark's arms. shaking his head to clear it from ridiculous thoughts, he too stood up and made his way to the bathroom. 

   he stopped in front of mark who had just finished washing his face. "i'm gonna head over to my room to get ready. thanks for last night," he mumbled shyly. "anytime," mark beamed.

   donghyuck left the room to get to his own before brushing his teeth. jisung and chenle were watching videos on chenle's phone, by the sounds of it, it was mostly likely stephen curry. "did you see that half-court shot?" chenle gushed excitedly. "yeah... i saw it," jisung sounded tired but he was smiling at chenle who's eyes were glued to the screen infront of him.

   donghyuck watched them out of the corner of his eyes while he got ready. "time to go!" their manager knocked on the door before leaving to alert the others. "okay," chenle called. 

   the eldest of the three quickly threw on some clothes before meeting everyone downstairs. "ready?" his manager checked for confirmation. donghyuck nodded, fishing some earbuds out of his pocket while the ride began. jaemin, who was next to him, fell asleep pretty quickly as chenle chatted with their manager in the driver's seat.

   donghyuck allowed the music to take over as the lack of sleep from the night before kicked in. his eye lids slowly dropped down, his mind finding peace as he drifted off to sleep. 

   two days of shooting the music video passed quickly. everyone was exhausted and relieved when it was the last day. mark and donghyuck hadn't talked much since they woke up in the same bed. every time donghyuck saw mark, it was as if the older had something to say but was keeping it held back for the sake of them. 

   "mark-ssi and haechan-ssi," the director called. the two rushed over. "yes?" mark questioned. the director flipped through the papers clipped to his clip board. "we haven't shot your duet scene so we'll shoot it now," he informed. donghyuck thought back to the first day on set. the room in the far corner which had once been a spark of curiosity was now long forgetten. 

   "alright," donghyuck nodded and walked over to the room where staff was already setting up with mark trailing from behind. he took a seat nervously on the swing set prop as mark sat next to him.

   suddenly, their director entered the room and gestured for them to come over. "this shot has the theme of a swing set from the stars. we'll add effects and fix up the green screen later on but for now, you should act with that in mind," he explained the process. donghyuck nodded, glancing at mark who seemed to be mirroring his actions.

   "we'll be using this," the main camera director spoke up with a drone in hand, "it should help us get a few neat shots and i'll run it through with the editors later." "okay," mark spoke up to show that he understood what to do.

   "mark-ssi, haechan-ssi," two stylists came by and brought them to sit down on the swingset. after a few quick touchups, the shoot began. "action!"

   the music started playing from the speakers as mark began rapping to his verse and making gestures while keeping eye contact with the main camera. just as the director had instructed, donghyuck popped up from where he was crouching down and slid in the seat next to mark, right on time.

   mark hooked an arm behind his neck, pulling their bodies closer while donghyuck sung to his harmonizing part with mark. "cut!" the director called, the music fading out.

   "so far, not bad. for this shot can you focus at that camera," he pointed towards one the was higher in level than the last. "sure," donghyuck smiled politely. "also, haechan-ssi, this time your timing was just right but i want you guys to be more friendly. keep longer eye contact and feel free to be more touchy," he declared.

   the two nodded while butterflies errupted in donghyuck's stomach. it wasn't anything that hadn't happened before but somehow it felt more personal this time. "mark-ssi, while you're rapping i want you to look at that camera and then switch to that one when we give you the signal," the director pointed at two different camera. they talked about positions a bit more before hastily returning to their places. 

   "...action!" the director yelled out. the music once again began to play while mark waited for the right timing to start rapping. "that camera to the left!" the signal was called. the shooting was going smoothly. "haechan-ssi, up now!" donghyuck popped up and once again slid into the seat.

   unlike the last time, mark immediately pulled donghyuck closer and ruffled his hair while staring down at him. donghyuck stared back and wondered how someone could look so good while trying not to forget to sing his lines. "nice, nice," the director complimeted, keeping a close eye on the camera angles.

   "cut!" the scene ended with multiple compliments from the staff. "thank you," both mark and donghyuck thanked everyone humbly. "now we'll just shoot a couple in between shots. you don't have to look at the camera, just be natural and sing along with the song.

   they recorded the shots diligently and finished in no time. "we have just afew left and that will wrap up the shoot," the director announced, recieving many cheers from the staff that had been working hard. 

   after recieving the intructions for the final shots, donghyuc sat back down nervously. the explanation he had recieved seemed pretty intimate and it was making him nervous. "ready?" mark asked, taking a seat next to donghyuck. "as ready as i'll ever be," he nodded.

   mark took donghyuck's hand in his own as they intertwined their fingers. donghyuck was too shy to even notice how mark was smiling at their hands like an idiot. "action!" the director called. 

   the two swung their legs, smiles plastered on their faces as their fingers remained intangled and they turned their heads to look at eachother. when they met eachother's eyes, their fake smiles faltered and their expressions turned soft. it was probably the most genuine expressions in the entire music video due to it being caused by true emotions.

   donghyuck naturally leaned his head on mark's shoulder while mark's thumb rubbed against the back of his hand softly. mark lowered his head ontop of donghyuck's and closed his eyes just as the younger did. "cut! well done!" the staff aplauded while donghyuck hid his red face in mark's shoulder. 

   mark chuckled and thanked the staff on behalf of the both of them. when all the staff had cleared out of the room, donghyuck raised his head, looking up at mark. "is everyone gone?" he asked. mark nodded and ruffled his hair, "why are you so shy?" donghyuck blushed and hid his face with his hands. "i'm not shy i'm embarrassed."

   "you're embarrassed that i held your hand in front of so many people?" mark leaned in close to tease donghyuck. "i-," before donghyuck could answer, they were summoned out into the main room.

   "jeno and jaemin are shooting something and then we'll do a group dance shot. then... we'll be done," renjun smiled. "thank god, i'm so tired i haven't even had time to eat ramen," jisung appeared, dragging a sleepy chenle by the arm with him.

   "you literally sneaked some in your room last night," donghyuck sighed. jisung rubbed his nape awkwardly, "i forgot?" donghyuck rolled his eyes before jisung disappeared again, chenle completely gone too. 

   renjun heaved dramatically, "literal kids... what can i say?" mark laughed and pinched renjun's ear, cooing at his cuteness. donghyuck felt jealousy stirring inside him but he chose to ignore it. renjun was a member just as much as donghyuck was. 

   the dance shot was taken pretty quickly after jeno and jaemin finished shooting their shots. they ended the day with a big applause and a few words from thair mangers and directors. each of the members also took a turn saying a few quick words of thanks before mark finished them off.

   everyone was walking in the parking lot when renjun suggested that they go have a nice dinner and drink to celebrate the end of the shooting. although they were all tired, they agreed and it was almost tradition to eat and drink after a long few days of filming. they piled into cars and shared the news with their managers, inviting them to share the meal with them. when everything was settled, they headed towards their hotel to get showered and dressed up just a bit formally. then, they made their way to a high rated restaurant that was not too far away from their hotel. 

   donghyuck braced himself when they enetered the restaurant and saw the liquor lined up on the back wall of the kitchen. "this is going to be a long night," he mumbled to himself, taking a seat next to mark.
