[a/n: warning! not smut but kind of mature]

   the feeling of mark's lips on his own was like euphoria. donghyuck's savoured the taste of mark's lips as the older slowly moved them against donghyuck's. although both of them were unsure with what they were doing, mark led the kiss and donghyuck followed without a doubt.

   the two could could feel eachother's hearts beating in their chests with adrenaline. naturally, donghyuck lifted his arms from his sides and brought them up to mark's hair. he tugged at the strands causing mark to release a low groan. the sound vibrated into the younger's as he, too, let out a sound.

   mark was enjoying the feeling of donghyuck's pink and soft lips. after imagining how they would taste for so long, it was heaven to kiss them himself. before he could process what he was doing, he licked donghyuck's bottom lip, asking for an entrance. 

   the brunette smirked into the kiss as he kept his mouth closed. the younger was tease even in these situations. mark groaned in frustration before biting down harshly on donghyuck's lip. the shorter let out a gasp which mark took as a oppurtunity to slip his tongue in. the second mark's tongue was in, he explored donghyuck's mouth. 

   it tasted of strawberries and honey. the flavor was addicting and it was something that mark never wanted to forget. donghyuck pressed their bodies together, mark emitting a groan once more. despite mark's tongue being in his mouth, he wanted more. he needed more.

   he grinded onto mark and moaned at the feeling of their dicks pressing against eachother. "fuck," mark cursed against his mouth. the older suddenly stood up as donghyuck whimpered at the lack of touch. mark wasted no time pulling him up next to him and bringing him in a tight embrace. mark kissed his jawline and lips before nibbling on his eralobe. "jump, baby," mark ordered.

   as much as donghyuck wanted to tease and provoke the canadian, he was too desprate to try any games. he listened obideiently and jumped, wrapping his legs around mark's waist. the raventte placed a hand on donghyuck's ass, giving it a squeaze as they made out. "mark ahhh," donghyuck moaned.

   the taller carried the two of them to their abandoned room and threw donghyuck on the bed before crawling ontop of him, hungrily. the once, soft and gentle kiss, was now fast and sloppy. neither of them cared as long as they had contact with the other. 

   without asking, mark quickly pulled off donghyuck's shirt, revealing the pretty tan skin beneath. mark wanted nothing more than to mark the beautiful skin, claiming the gorgeous body. "god, you're beautiful," mark muttered breathlessly. donghyuck flushed red and covered up his exposed chest and stomach in embarrassment. 

   "don't," mark pulled donghyuck's hands above his head and kept his wrists together with one hand. the younger moaned when he felt mark's teeth grazing his perky nipple. secretly, mark had fantasized about what it would be like to taste donghyuck's nipples. he never imagined that there would be a day where it was possible. 

   his tongue swirled around the left nipple as donghyuck arched his back off of the bed. "mark aghh," he cried out when mark began to suck on the skin on his collar bones. the kisses trailed up to his neck and left visible marks all over his sunkissed skin.

   then, mark's kisses went in reverse and began to trail downwards. he kissed down donghyuck's stomach, planting an extra long kiss above the waistband of his pants. before donghyuck took off anymore clothes, he wanted mark to take off something too so that it would be fair. 

   too lazy to use words, he managed to set one hand free and tugged at mark's shirt, whining at it's presence. the older chuckled, pulling it off and over his head in one swift motion. he smirked cockily when donghyuck's eyes wandered straight towards his toned abs.

   he picked up donghyuck's small hand and kissed it gently. he used his fingers to trace over his stomach muscles, to which donghyuck looked at him with dark eyes that he was sure he had too. he squeazed himself out from under mark and climbed ontop of the older. mark was surprised to see donghyuck doing it so confidently. it was hot.

   the brunette straddled his waist, attatching their lips again. he moaned, having missed the feeling when mark was busy making purple spots on his skin. donghyuck grinded on mark, needing to feel the friction between them. before he knew it, his hands were on the waistband of mark's pants as he looked at him lustfully, asking for permission.

   mark nodded, but just as donghyuck was about to pull them down, there was a knock at the door. "you guys okay in there? i'm coming in," renjun's voice was heard.

   "shit," mark cursed in english. he tossed donghyuck his shirt as he struggled to find his own. the both of them barely threw their shirts on as the door opened. "are you guys okay?" the two thousand line stood there, looking at mark and donghyuck.

   both of them were sitting on mark's bed, completely breathless, hair disheveled and lips swollen. "y-yeah," mark croaked, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. "did you guys just make out or something?" jaemin questioned. "w-what?!" donghyuck's eyes widened at what jaemin asked.

   "i said; did you guys just make up or something?" jaemin repeated himself. donghyuck relaxed when he realized that he misheard. "oh yeah, we did," he looked at mark so that mark would say something. "i forgave him just now. that's all," mark sounded surprisingly calm. it was quite the contrast to how he had been just a few moments ago.

   "we heard some weird sounds so we stopped by," jeno looked unconvinced by what they said. "we argued a bit before making ou— i mean making up!" donghyuck panicked, wanting to smack himself in the face for the slip up.

   the three looked at them, seeming as if they were judging the situation before renjun shrugged. "let's go i guess," the chinese suggested. the other two nodded and follwed him as they closed the door and walked away. "gosh, that was a close call," donghyuck sighed in relief, turning to look at the older.

   mark was chewing on the inside of his cheek in thought. "we really just did that," he said. "did what?" donghyuck asked, not sure what mark was on about. "made out, gave eachother hickies, you even almost gave me a blowjob," mark listed the things on his fingers. "stop," donghyuck whined, flushing in embarrassment. "what? i'm only spitting straight facts," mark teased.

   donghyuck covered his face behind his hands and laid down, resting on mark's bed. the ravenette laid down too, pulling the younger's head onto his chest. there was a peaceful silence that fell upon them as they felt eachothers heartbeats and took a simple moment to breath. 

   "what does all of this mean?" donghyuck asked quietly. "i don't know," mark responded gently, as if donghyuck was a fragile piece of glass. "what do you want it to mean?" mark switched it up, asking donghyuck the question. the brunette sighed, not sure how to answer. he couldn't just confess to mark when he probably only kissed him out of impulse. 

   while the kiss meant everything to donghyuck, it could've meant absolutely nothing to mark. the older noticed how donghyuck was struggling to answer. he decided to make it easier by changing the question, "did you like it?"

   "i did," donghyuck admitted instantly. the taller smirked but didn't want to tease him. "do you want to do it again?" mark asked. "i do," donghyuck answered honestly again. the canadian hummed. "did you feel anything when i kissed you, or when i marked you?" the korean faltered, he wasn't sure how to answer. "d-do you mean romantically?" he wanted to specify. mark nodded, "romantically," he confirmed.

   the younger forced himself to deny the truth as he answered, "no. i felt nothing." it hurt him to say the words as much as it hurt mark to hear them. 

   mark held back his words as he bit down on the tip of his tongue. although he tried to ignore the aching in his heart, he couldn't. "what should we make of thsi relasionship?" he looked at donghyuck. his thick and black lashes were poking at his cheeks, his eyes closed. the steady rising of their chests was somewhat calming. 

   "you want to continue this?" the feeling of the word this was foreign on donghyuck's tongue. what even was this? what did this mean? "i do," he felt mark pull him closer as if he would try to run away. 

   "i-," donghyuck was at a loss for words. it was true that he enjoyed intimate moment that they shared. yet, everything was happening too quickly for him. not only did mark just state that he wanted to continue kissing donghyuck (and possibly more than just that), but he also had just denied his feelings to mark, his bestfriend.

   the older was quick to notice his discomfort as he wrapped his arms around the brunette. he gently put his chin ontop of donghyuck head, closing his eyes. it was unusual for mark to show donghyuck so much skinship. he genrally only shared it with the dreamies anyway, but for him to do it with donghyuck was quite a surprise.

   "if it's too fast for you, we can take it slow. if you're uncomfortable with it, we don't have to do it anymore," he assured him. the words were as comforting as mark hoped they would be. the you ger relaxed into his embrace and took a moment to breath. "i think i just need some time to process evrything," he finally said.

   "okay," mark respected his decision, "but while you think it over, can we please not be awkward about it. it's been so weird the past fews weeks," mark chuckled awkwardly. donghyuck found himself laughing along side him, "it has been pretty weird." 

   "let's just go back to the way it was. however you decided to deal with what happened earier," mark suggested, hoping that donghyuck would come in terms of agreement. "okay," donghyuck agreed, with a shy smile.

   like that, mark and donghyuck fell asleep together on mark's bed. they didn't know what was to come next, but they knew that whatever it was, they would face it together.
