"Avery Irrene, Adam Janes!" I yelled as I held a jar in NY hand, the, cookie jar.

Those rascals.

Seconds later little feet ran in to our kitchen, showing them selves as the mischievous twins.

"Yes Mum?" Adan asked, his hand behind his blonde hair.

I raised the cookie jar that had a picture of the cookie monster in it to the 4 year olds. "Where'd all the cookies go?"

Avery shifted his feet nervously. "We-we ate them."

"And are you supposed to have cookies before dinner?" I asked, and this time they looked down with some shame.

"No." They said together, Adam more reluctantly.

"What do you say?" I said folding my arms to them.

They looked at each other them up to me with pouts. "We're sorry..." They said.

Sighing I smiled at them and jester to the table filled with Christmas dinner, we were spending Christmas alone this year, as Dad and everyone else agreed every other year we'd come  together, but this year we don't, next year though.

They ran over and quickly started to eat as I rolled my eyes at the two as I sat down and we had a regular family like dinner.

But then I stopped as I remembered something.

"Adam...." I started and he stopped as he looked at me confused. "Did you call me Mum?" I asked wide eyed.

He blushed and so did Avery. "Well, we know you always tell us that your really our uncle but....we see you as a mom, not to be rude on Mom, but yeah...." He said quietly.

I sighed. "Okay fine...just as long as you put extra flowers on her grave, got it?" I told them as I ate some of my mashed potatoes.

They smiled at me and countinued to eat.

The boys whined as I washed their hair, scrubbing relentlessly as to get the ice cream and pie from it. They had to much fun with their desserts.

"Mmmuuuumm!! Stop!" Adam said as he tried to rinse his own hair.

I rolled my eyes as Avery shyly handed me his cup so I could rinse out his, which made me smile at him. And him smile at me.

Once bath time was over, I had the two get dressed as j made cookies. As I was putting the cookies in did the boys come down in their little wunzies. Looking extremely adorable as always.

"Man, how did I get stuck with such adorable little stars?" I asked with a smirk.

"I'm not little!" Adam said begrudgingly.

"Thank you Mama." Avery spoke up. He was always such a quiet little thing.

I smiled at the two as we went to the living room. Where I played the piano as the two danced around the living room, excited as most the presents, at least the ones from family and friends were under there, some from me and all as well.

Soon, the two helped me put the milk and cookies out on the coffee table for Santa.

"Wait, Mama, are you sure Itll be okay down here for Santa and the presents?" Avery asked, making me raise a brow.

Adam looked away from me as I looked at him and it clicked in my head that, they had watched some horror thing.

I sighed, and got an idea. "Well, come here then, let's go get our secret weapon." I said seriously, as I walked upstairs to my room. Where Ted was there on my bed as always, or he was with me around the house. I always left him here to watch the house though, as I was to busy to make sure I had him at all times.

I smiled at him and picked him up carefully and showed him to the boys that know him pretty well. "Ted will watch the presents, and Santa. Don't worry, he's very trustworthy, you guys know this." I said as I held him to my chest, as I felt some warmth from holding him there, though more so then normal, but I passed it off.

"What can a stupid stuffed bear do?" Adam said, not mean, well still a bit mean, but curious.

Avery just watched in excitement.

"Ted, here is a very powerful person, he's not just a bear but he can come out and save the day in his human form when we trust him enough." I said with a nod and a serious look that made Avery giggle and Adam smile.

I sent them off to bed, after talking a bit more. I had also tucked them in and kissed them goodnight and they were instantly asleep when I closed their door.

I smiled to myself as I walked down the stairs turning lights off here and there when needed. I set Ted on the couch for a minute to go to the kitchen and grab my book that I left there when I was cooking and what followed after.

I was reading when I can back into the living room.

"Jade...." Said a voice that stopped my heart, and froze me in my spot. I looked up slowly to see, a tall, tan, scared on the chest with red line almost like a stiching, but in tattoo form. Messy brown hair and wide and surprised Carmel brown eyes that I've missed so much.

"Ted?" My voice broke out, my eyes watering, as the last memory of where he mouthed the words he loved me came to mind. My book fell from my hand as I jumped him in a hug, not caring he was naked.

He instantly had his large arms around me, and my leaner and taller body, no longer was I a noddle that was short, well I still am but not by much, and I was more filled out.

I cried silently into his shoulder. "God I missed you." I mumbled into his warm skin.

He hugged me tighter. "I was always here, watching you, it hurt so much, but I was always going in and out for months in gaps in the past 4 years, but the last couple months I've been able to somewhat keep awake and yearn to be human again, and it worked!! God I'm never going back to that again." He told me rushedly.

I smiled as I pulled away, having my hands touch his unbelievably soft hair. "Good..." I said and leaned up on my tip toes, then looked up at the random mistletoe on the ceiling that I'm sure a certain friend of mine put there for her use and to make things somewhat make sense, this.

He looked up to, a bit confused buy pushed it off as he smirked and looked back down at me, kissing me gently, which soon turned heat full and much more.

Something I let him do as it has been to long of a time.
