(3rd Person PoV)

"So let me get this straight," Yuro began as he looked at Yuga who had his hands in a begging position. "You want me to help you prank Yusaku as payback for him eating your udon and you want to prank Yusei because you think it'll be funny?" He asked.

"Yes! It's not that hard of a request really," Yuga insisted but Yuro just crossed his arms. "And what's in it for me if I help you?" He asked and Yuga paused.

What's in it for him? Hmmm, he thought before pulling out his phone.

"Soooo...you know the Friendship cup right?" He asked and Yuro raised an eyebrow. "Go on," he rolled out his palm.

"Due to connections, I know a guy who knows a guy who knows another guy and you might, just might, be able to register for the Friendship Cup early before slots fill up. The WDG has already ended so the Friendship Cup will be up next. That is if you want to," Yuga suggested, flashing him a cheeky grin.

"The Friendship Cup, huh? I have been meaning to enter it but slots fill up too quickly...alright, you got yourself a deal," Yuro nodded and Yuga pumped a fist in the air.

"Let's go! Actually I think I know another guy who would like to get in on this," Yuga said and went to take a call.

(Later)

"You want me to do what?" Yugo asked as they arrived at his apartment where he shares with Rin.

"I want you to help us prank Yusei and Yusaku. Yusaku for payback and Yusei because it'll be funny," Yuga explained.

"And you gotta get me in contact so I can sign up for the Friendship Cup," Yuro added.

"Whoa, whoa. What makes you think that?" Yugo asked with an awkward chuckle. "You did that last time! You asked Yuya who asked Jack and boom, some of us were in the Friendship Cup!" Yuga replied.

"Oh...I guess I did do that...well what's in it for me then?" Yugo asked and Yuga groaned. "What is it with you guys wanting payment for this?" He asked before an idea struck him.

"Wellll if you don't, then I guess I have to tell Rin that you dirtied her favorite dress when that really rainy day happened," Yuga hinted and Yugo's eyes widened with fear.

"Fine! You have a deal, god you are one nasty fifth grader," he shook his head and Yuga crackled.

He should stop hanging out with Yuga, Yuro thought nervously, thinking about his brother.

The three of them plotted and wrote ideas down. The first prank will be harmless to see how they would react.

They decided to prank Yusei first as it was mostly for a joke and he technically didn't do anything wrong. It was just going to be harmless.

"These pranks are lame!" Yugo groaned as he scraped off the creaming from the oreo. "Well we're not going to go that far with Yusei. It'll just be funny," Yuga pointed out and placed the toothpaste inside the oreo that Yugo handed him.

"That's true. We should save our best prank for Yusaku," Yuro added, placing the oreo in a container. "Meh, fair. So how many oreos do we plan?" Yugo asked.

"Not too many as eating a lot of toothpaste is bad for you. Just enough for a prank," Yuga replied and Yugo nodded.

"Got it...let's go with three," he said and the rest nodded.

And so they snuck into Yusei's garage (by snuck, they mean that Yuga knows where the spare key is) and placed the container where on Yusei's desk with a note on it that said,

From your friends :D

This is for Yusei only! >:(

"That'll do," Yuga declared before getting pulled away by Yugo as Yusei was coming to the garage. It was open so they could see in it but hid behind a bush to see what would happen.

Yusei looked at the note as he picked up the container. He looked around, shrugged, opened it and grabbed an oreo. He bit into it and began to chew.

The three watched as Yusei just ate the oreo. He popped the rest in his mouth and repeated the same thing to the other two.

SHOCK?! Yuga, Yuro and Yugo gasped inside their heads.

First prank: FAILED!

"Well that didn't go well," Yuro sighed, placing his hands behind his head as they headed back. "Come on, we have to think of something else. If he's so chill about eating toothpaste oreos, then he's not gonna care about the sponge cake," Yuga noted.

"He might not be able to eat it and would just throw it out," Yugo sighed, anime crying.

"But still, we're saving our best prank for Yusaku right?" Yuro asked and Yuga nodded. "Speaking of which, what should that prank be?" Yugo asked.

"Hmmmm...dunno," Yuga admitted and both Yuro and Yugo face palmed.

They settled on doing a prank call.

"Ok so I have this burner phone here. We can use that to prank him!" Yugo called out as they were in his apartment again.

"And I have his number," Yuga added. Yuro placed a hand on his cheek and asked, "are we sure he's going to pick up?"

"He will, he rarely gets calls from other people which is sad now that I think about it. Hmm, I think I have to keep in touch with him even more so," Yuga muttered.

"Well whatever! We need a good conversation starter! How about 'is your refrigerator running?' That's a good one!" Yugo suggested.

"He's not stupid to fall for that. How about... 'we've been trying to reach you regarding your car's extended warranty,' it's classic," Yuro suggested.

"He doesn't have a car though...oh how about something that seems menacing like 'I know your secret,' or something," Yuga suggested.

"Wait what secrets could he have?" Yuro asked and Yugo gasped. "Could it be that he has a secret boyfriend or girlfriend?" He asked and Yuro sweatdropped.

"Come now. Look, couldn't we just say that we hacked into his Link Vrains account and he has to do something embarrassing to get it back. Does he even have a Link Vrains account?" Yuro asked.

"No," Yuga replied rather quickly.

"He doesn't?" Yugo asked and Yuga nodded.

Sorry guys but Playmaker is off limits, he thought as he and Yusei know about Yusaku's alter ego.

"Well what should we do?" Yugo asked, crossing his arms.

*snaps*

"I have an idea!" Yuro exclaimed and both of them looked at him with stars in their eyes.

(Later)

Yusaku was in his apartment, studying for his exams when suddenly his phone rang. He looked at it to see that it was from an unknown number.

Eh, probably nothing, he thought and just let it ring.

Once it was done, Yusaku went back to studying...for a total of five seconds.

His phone began to ring again and he decided to pick up because surely an unknown number wouldn't call twice.

"Hello?"

"Is this a Mr. Yusaku Fujiki?"

Yusaku raised an eyebrow and asked, "hypothetically if I was, can I ask why are you calling this number?"

"Congratulations sir! You have been chosen to take our survey and win a special prize!"

"...what?" Yusaku sounded confused and went to check the number. He didn't recognize the number and reached over to grab his laptop. He plugged his phone in and began to track where the call was coming from.

"Question 1, what does the spell card Pot of Greed do?"

Yusaku looked over at his phone with a 'are you kidding' look on his face before huffing at this. "Draw 2 cards, easy," he grumbled before typing some numbers down.

"Excellent! Every single one of our chosen questionnaires got that answer wrong so you are on the right path!"

That's not even how you use the word! Yusaku sweatdropped before looking at where the phone call was coming from. A very familiar apartment...

"Question 2, what is Seto Kaiba's waifu card?"

"Fusion, is that you?" Yusaku asked and his mouth tugged at a smile once he got the angry outburst that he was waiting for.

"IT'S NOT FUSION! IT'S YUGO!"

"YUGO NO!"

"YOU RUINED IT!"

"Checkmate. Also Yuga, get better at pranking people," Yusaku told them and hung up.

At the apartment, Yuro was chewing Yugo out while Yuga was staring at the burner phone.

"How did he know it was me who had the idea?" He asked and the door slammed open.

"Because...," Rin held her fist up, a red tick mark on it, "I was the one who warned him that he may get pranked today. Also...YOU IDIOTS WERE RUINING MY SLEEP!"

"RIIIIIIN?!" Yugo yelped and Yuro let go of him from the headlock that he had Yugo in.

"You're on your own," Yuro immediately bolted and Yuga ran after him. "Bye bye!" He called out and Yugo got chewed out by Rin.

Good times.

A/N: ok, this may not technically be TechTrio but it's TechTrio related. I live for Yuga being a menace especially towards those two.
