(3rd Person PoV)

"You have 30 seconds to shut off the program or Sector Security will be called to this location," the robotic, automated voice said.

Yusaku made a fist but continued typing.

"Yusaku, I told you to let me hack into the program. You're going to get arrested!" Ai exclaimed, waving his arms around.

"I can't afford to get arrested. Call Kusanagi to delete our trail as fast as he possibly can," Yusaku said.

"Ugh fine," Ai crossed his arms before grabbing Yusaku's phone and went inside of it to call Kusanagi.

He's an Ignis so he can do that.

Yusaku has hacking into the database of Sector Security. He was basing it off of a rumor but there was something about Sector Security that rubbed him the wrong way.

Could they also be involved with the Lost Incident and the Knights of Hanoi?

Again, he's basing it off a rumor but what if that rumor was true? He had to check it out at least.

"You have 10 seconds to shut off the program or Sector Security will be called to this location," the same voice said.

"Damn it!" Yusaku shouted.

"I told you to let me hack into it. It would be so much easier but noooo. You were going to be the hero and find the information yourself," Ai sighed.

"Be quiet, Ai," Yusaku said before going over to shut the program down. It was a rush to the finish.

After those ten seconds were up, Yusaku has successfully shut the program down.

He leaned back on his chair to take a sigh of relief but it was way too early to relax because the computer immediately started to beep loudly.

"Gaaaah! What happened?" Ai asked.

Yusaku checked the time and his jaw dropped.

"I was a second too late," he said, softly.

"What? By a second?! Nooo now Sector Security will be here any minute, we need to run!" Ai shouted.

No need to tell Yusaku twice as he grabbed his Duel Disk, in which Ai slipped in, and ran out of the room that he was in.

Even though he was running for a few minutes, he could already hear the sirens.

He needs to lose them so he took a bunch of detours to throw off Sector Security off his trail.

However, no matter what he did, Sector Security was at his heels and approaching quickly.

"Yusaku! What will we dooooo?" Ai asked as Yusaku stopped at an alleyway.

He can't afford to stop and rest but what else could he do?

"Ai...," he started.

"Yeah?" Ai sounded confused.

"If Sector Security catches me, call Kusanagi to come pick you up," Yusaku then tossed his Duel Disk onto a windowsill of an abandoned building but not before grabbing the first card of his deck.

"AHHHH!" Ai cried as he got tossed.

Yusaku looked at the card he grabbed.

Cyberse Wizard...not bad, he thought.

He took off one of his shoes, then hid his card under the sole of his shoe, put his shoe back and then began to run again.

Sector Security however, caught up to him after a while of chase.

"You're under arrest for hacking into confidential files. You're going to the Facility," one of them said.

Yusaku said nothing but he let himself get arrested and was guided to a police car.

(Time skip)

"You have been sentenced to the Facility and you will gain a criminal mark."

It felt like a blur.

Yusaku was in the back of a police car, sent to a trial, was found guilty and sentenced to the Facility where people hardly come back.

And worst of all, he was sent to another room where they embroidered a criminal mark below his right eye. It was a painful couple of seconds but the after effects were just as painful.

Later, Yusaku was in a bus with other people with criminal marks.

Some in particular were a pair of an old man seemingly pestering a young man only a bit older than Yusaku.

While it seemed like pestering to Yusaku, the young man didn't seem to mind all that much. He just ignored him.

They arrived at the facility and a couple of officers were checking them in.

One officer escorted a group of people, that included Yusaku, to a bunch of cells where people with criminal marks were peeking their heads out.

"Here you are. Now get in there," the officer said to Yusaku and shoved him inside one of the cells.

There was another Sector Security officer there who glanced in and Yusaku heard him mutter, "Poor kid. Having that brat as a cellmate."

A brat? Yusaku thought.

He then took a good look around the cell.

It was tight and cramp. Little to no light with a bunk bed that looked like it was ready to fall over but somehow is still standing.

Then Yusaku looked at the top of the bunk bed and saw a pair of gleaming eyes staring at him.

He took a step back.

"Whoa whoa. I'm not going to hurt you. Are you my new cellmate?" A surprisingly young boy voice said.

The eyes disappeared and out came a very small boy wearing a red jacket and had auburn and yellow hair.

One thing that Yusaku noticed is that this boy has two criminal marks underneath his eyes almost like tear drops.

Which didn't fit the wide grin on the boy's face.

"I'm Yuga Ohdo! Nice to meet you," he held out his hand in which Yusaku just looked at it.

"Umm that's not very nice to stare," Yuga noted.

Yusaku just looked at him.

"Are you going to say anything? I promise I'm not mean," Yuga said, lowering his hand.

Yusaku just continued to stare.

"Ok...I see how that is. Well could you at least tell me your name so I know what to call you by?" Yuga asked.

At this, Yusaku finally responded. "Yusaku Fujiki."

"Ok Yusaku! Guess you're my new cellmate. Make yourself comfortable in the bottom bunk bed. I already called the top," Yuga said and climbed back up.

Yusaku walked over the bottom bunk bed and sat down.

He hoped that Ai managed to contact Kusanagi.

(Later)

Yusaku had decided to rest and was now sleeping. He's a light sleeper though so even the smallest of noise could wake him up.

The guard that was outside of their cell just sighed to him.

"Hey Mr. Sector Security."

"What is it, brat?"

"Could you let me and my new cellmate out? For the...you know...orientation that Himuro so liked to call it? Just to, you know, show him how it works around here."

"..."

"Pleeeeeease?"

"Fine but don't go to far this time," the Sector Security then opened the cell door.

"Ok," Yuga gave him a wide grin.

Yusaku was staring at a corner, listening to the conversation.

Too far? What does he mean? He thought.

He then shut his eyes as he heard Yuga approach him.

"Time to get up, Yusaku! I get to show you around the Facility," Yuga said, cheerfully.

Yusaku opened one eye and faked a yawn before getting up.

He followed the smaller boy out of their cell.
