I woke up to my dog, more like puppy but still, on top of me licking my face,

" Alright, alright I'm up"

I sat up and stretched, it seemed as if Dash needed a walk and judging by the way he started pacing after he jumped off, there wasn't much time before he dropped something. I quickly changed into a hoodie that said couch potato. and put on some black leggings, I grabbed his leash and ran at the door when I remembered I was bare foot so another second grabbing some slippers and we went into a park next to where my apartment was. Dash seemed to calm down after a bit of walking around so I decided to head back because people were starting to look at me weird for my hair, like always, and I hadn't even brushed my teeth nor given food to my cats.

Dash started to slow down after five more seconds of walking so I picked him up and jogged back to my apartment. As soon as I opened the door both of my cats started meowing loudly at my feet as if they were begging me to feed them, which they were, so I put Dash down, without the leash since we were inside, and headed over to the cat food and dog food. After dealing with them I go to the bathroom and take a quick bath since I felt disgusting, after getting out and brushing my teeth I simply put on a white T-shirt and some shorts since I was to lazy to pick anything else.

I decided that today was just going to be a Me Day, so I put my phone on silent and turned on the TV to look for something interesting to watch, while in the middle of this Ruby jumped into my lap and started trying to make me give her attention so I had to stop and play with her for a while. After I was done, Lily came over to me asking for the same thing.

" Well, guess I'm gonna be playing with y'all today, huh?" I chuckled, they only meowed in response. I grabbed the little flash light that I saved just for playing with them and turned it on, Lily immediately pounced on the light and but I managed to quickly move it, this time Ruby tried to catch it but obviously failed. This went on for a minute or two before they gave up and went to the kitchen to drink water, I simply turned off the flash light and softly petted Dash who had fallen asleep on my lap.

I must've fallen asleep because when I opened my eyes it was heavily raining outside with thunder and Dash was whimpering in my lap and at both of my sides my cats were wailing, so I grabbed a big fluffy blanket and wrapped it around all of us, this seemed to calm them a bit because they stopped wailing and just stayed by my sides while Dash only softly whimpered while slightly shivering.

I decided to play some instrumental music on the TV so that they would think that I was playing that with with the sound of rain and thunder like I usually do when I want to relax. I decided to check if someone was streaming I carefully put Dash onto the sofa and put some pillows in my place so that my cats won't be disturbed. I head into my room and sit down, no one that I follow is live? Ugh, let's see if youtube has anything to offer. I enter you tube and see a video of a Minecraft manhunt by Dream. I knew I recognized his voice from somewhere! I decided to watch it and quite enjoyed it, I clicked on his channel and found some more.

Eventually my pets noticed I wasn't there any more and came looking for me, Lily entering first with Ruby just behind her and after a few seconds Dash came in with the blanket in his mouth, I stood up and grabbed it and sat in my bed waiting for them to jump on. The cats immediately did so, Dash had a bit of trouble getting on but he managed. As soon as he was on he tackled Lily and started trying to bite her ear but they soon stopped and I couldn't resist taking a picture because it was so cute.

At that moment my phone started ringing, I picked it up to see that it was Will.

" Hallu?"

" What did she not tell me this time?" I could tell that he genuinely didn't know.

" Well, me and Lily agreed that I would go visit you guys in Brighton, honestly I'm not surprised that she didn't tell you"

" Me neither, anyway, what day are you coming? I don't want the house to be a mess when you arrive"

" I'm going Wednesday also, you know that I don't care if your house is a mess"

" I know, but I still need to clean the house anyway"

" Alright, well I have to go Will, I forgot to do something that is quite important I'll tell you what it is on Wednesday"

" Bye Wimblur" He started to complain but I ended the call at that exact moment, I wasn't lying when I said I had to do something important.

Recently I had started to notice that I could no longer keep up with my classes because I was losing interest in the topics. So I came to the decision to switch my majors into something I absolutely love and never tire of, history. I quickly went into my contacts and dialed their number.

After a few rings they picked up,

" Director Ava Jones speaking"

" Hi Ava. It's me, Cynthia"

" Oh, hi dear! What's up?" I could hear the kindness in her voice, ever since I was accepted into the college I had tried to be on good terms with almost every teacher, you never knew when it might help you. Anyway, when I first talked to the director they were very kind, and after a bit we grew quite close. To sum it all up, she's another mother figure only second to Mumza.

" I wanted to ask if it's too late to change majors..?"

" Well... Cynthia you've already spent two years studying and you've almost finished your English major, the best I can do for you is switch your physics major for something else"

" That's alright, I was actually planning on asking if I could switch it for history?"

" Alright dear, is there anything else I can help you with?"

" Actually yeah, can you give me some advice?"

" Advice on what, dear?"

" Well, what do you do when you meet someone but you can't stop thinking about them and when they talk it's like theirs a hundred butterflies in your stomach but you just met the person?"

There was a small moment of silence before she responded

" You remind me of my nephew, he asked the same thing just a few days ago" She laughed.

" The best advice that I can give you is that if you really feel like then you should try to get to know them better, they might feel the same"

" You think so?"

" Well, I can't guarantee that they might feel the same way but I can hope"

I sighed before saying thank you and saying good bye. I thought about what they said, she was right of course, the only way to know was if I got to know him better. By the time I was done with the call it had stooped raining, Ruby seemed to sense that I was feeling a bit frustrated with my feelings (#relatable) and literally sat on her two back paws, placed her paws on my chest and started purring. I laughed quietly and started petting her, she seemed to enjoy it and purred louder. After a while I felt better and decided to play some bedwars since it had been a while since I played alone, as soon as I opened Minecraft I got a notification from Discord.
