Two years later

I sighed as I finally got home, work had been busier lately so that meant that the shop got really full, which meant that I had to interact with a lot of people.

In short, my social battery was completely dead.

Luckily though, my boss gave me a week off. He and almost all of my co-workers had become good friends, so they knew that I was completely done socializing with people. I greeted my cats and my dog, I put my stuff in my room and headed to the bathroom for a quick shower. I was exhausted, even though the only thing I had to do was socialize with people. After showering I flopped down on my bed, and at the worst time my phone began to ring. Seriously?! I just lied down! I groaned and grabbed my phone to see that it was Will. I answered it and immediately he said:

" I'm streaming I'm streaming I'm streaming!"

" WHY WOULD YOU CALL ME THEN?!?"

I quickly opened up his stream to find his chat going crazy

I groaned when I realized that everyone knew who I was, Will seemed to enjoy my misery because he was grinning like an idiot.

" Will why did you call me?" I asked with a sigh, it had been a long time since I joined him on a stream.

" I want to play minecraft with you, it's been a while and I'm sure you haven't opened it in a long time"

I groaned loud enough that the stream heard it, the chat was still going crazy over the fact that they were hearing me live since two years.

" I don't really have a choice do I?"

" Nope!" The way he said it with a smile made me laugh slightly

" Fine, just let me turn on my monitor"

I got up from bed and turned my monitor on, even though I had quit streaming two years ago, I still had everything. I had never put away my mic nor my headphones, my facecam, which I rarely used, was still there. I opened minecraft and asked Will what we we were going to do.

" We are playing bedwars today!"

" Alright, lemme just get in the game"

I opened Will's stream on another tab and saw that he was already in the Hypexal lobby, I leave the tab open and switch to minecraft. As soon as I enter the lobby I see Will right in front of me.

" Hello there!"

" Hi Will" He was really cheerful today, he must've had a good day

" Let's go in, I wanna see how rusty you are"

" I am not rusty!"

" I bet you are"

" Hmp"

I look over to Wills stream and see that chat has calmed down, they were very happy to see me playing again.

Authorwashere: Maybe she'll start streaming again?

I go back to the game and start punching Will

" HEY"

" Yes?  'v' "

" STOP PUNCHING ME"

" Me? Punch you?? Sorry Wilbur, you got the wrong person"

He kept yelling at me for punching him until the game started, in which he finally shut up. We were team yellow when I realized that he did chose bedwars for a reason.

" WILBUR YOU LITTLE SHIT! "

He started laughing when I yelled that

" YOU KNOW I'M COLORBLIND"

" I wanted to see if you're the kind of colorblind as George" He said between laughs

" HOW WOULD YOU KNOW!?!? ALSO WHO IS GEORGE??"

" Good point and George is a friend"

" Fine, I'll tell you what I see and you'll tell me if it's the same"

" Deal"

We started playing and I realized that I hadn't lost my skill at all, because of that we won easily. We played a few rounds before we finally decided to just talk.

" So, am I the same as your friend?"

" Kind of, the only difference is that you see red differently" (she sees it as a light pink)

" Huh, you might have to introduce us one day"

" I'll see what I can do"

Will decided to keep streaming a little longer so we kept talking about stuff that he had been doing until he asked me a question.

" Hey Cy?"

" Yeah?"

" Would you ever start streaming again?"

I bit my lip, I didn't really know if I wanted to. I mean, when I streamed I used to love it but things were different now, I was finishing college, working part-time in the shop and I liked it that way. Although I felt like I was missing something but I couldn't figure out what.

" Maybe one day Will"

" YESSS"

I laughed and opened Wills stream and saw that chat was going by really fast but I managed read some,

I smiled at those that I did read, everyone seemed so excited. Maybe I will start streaming again, not all the time though I still need time to study and go to work. After a bit more of talking Will decided to end his stream, he asked me if I wanted to join a call with him, Phil and two other people, I agreed because why the hell not? I joined and was greeted by a kid screaming some shit.

" TOMMY SHUT UP WE CAN HEAR YOU PERFECTLY WELL WITHOUT YOU SCREAMING" Shouted Will who is very much a hypocrite

" Wilbur who is the women?"

" Okay first, my name is Cynthia, second, why were you screaming?"

" Please tell me you aren't American"

" Ew no"

" I'm starting to think you guys don't like me" A monotone voice said

" Aw techno don't worry, you're the only American Tommy likes. (I think...)" The last part was barely audible but Tommy seemed to heard it because he quickly denied it

" No Techno is not an exception, he betrayed me"

" You betrayed me first so I'd say we're even"

" NO I DIDN'T"

" Are you guys done fighting?" I asked bored, all they did since I arrived was fight and I was getting quite tired of it.

" You are British, right?" The gremlin child asked

" Yes Tommy" At this point I was just tired with all the arguing they did and the yelling, don't get me wrong, they all seem like great people but all I wanted to do in the first place was go to sleep.(grumpy Cynthia) So I started saying my goodbyes, and as soon as I leave the call I get a message on discord from the guy called Techno (she gave them her discord) saying that he was sorry if they had made me uncomfortable, I replied saying that I was fine but just tired from work he seemed to understand and left me on read. Normally it would have bothered me if someone left me on read but this time it didn't, maybe it was because I somehow knew that he meant nothing bad by it and just didn't know what to say, although that's probably just me saying that.

I decided not to give it much thought and just go to bed, I debated taking a quick shower or just going to bed straight away but in the end I decided to take a shower. After showering I was finally able to go to bed and sleep, but just before I felt myself falling asleep I made a promise to myself to kill whoever woke me up.

So today I am killing a child.

Let me explain, I was sleeping peacefully in my bed when I heard my text notifications going off a lot. I groan and put a pillow on my head hoping that the noise would go away but whoever was texting me was very persistent, I debated ignoring them but got out of bed anyway, it turns out that Tommy was spamming me and asking me to join an Among Us game because they were missing one person. Should I or should I not? After a few moments of thinking about it I decided to join, I had gotten good sleep and besides being woken up so rudely I was in a good mood. Plus it gave me the opportunity to kill the kid.

So I got out of bed and took a quick shower after sending him a message telling that I would join, after the shower I put on a grey hoodie with some black leggings but I didn't bother putting on any shoes since I wasn't even going to leave my room. I wasn't hungry so I decided to skip breakfast, sometimes I could go an entire day without eating because I was simply not hungry. I sat on my desk and downloaded Among Us, I used to play it with some friends from work but after awhile we got bored with it so we stopped playing it, but it's an entertaining game. When I finally pay attention again I see that the game downloaded, I opened it up and put my username in, I haven't used that name in so long.

After sending a text to Tommy saying that I was ready he sent me the code, when I entered the lobby there were a lot of people, some names I could recognize but others I didn't know. Tommy also sent me the link(?) to the discord call they were in so I joined it as well.

" Hello!" A soft voice said in which I rapidly recognized as Niki, we didn't really talk that much but she was really nice when we did.

" Hi Niki!"

" WOMAN"

" Hello Child"

" I AM NOT A CHILD"

 " Tommy stop screaming!" Dream said, don't ask me how I know it's him, he has a recognizable voice.

Other people greeted me and we all started introducing each other, the people playing were: Jack Manifold, Niki, Will, Dream, Sapnap, Tommy, Tubbo, Karl and Technoblade whos voice gave me butterflies in my stomach wait what?! I quickly push the thought to the back of my mind, I barely just met the guy so there was no reason for me to feel this way. I focus back on the game and notice that we are starting already, from what I knew I was replacing George because he apparently slept in. Tommy and Will were streaming but I don't think anybody else was, but I was gonna be careful, last thing I needed is to be embarrassed of something I said because  I wasn't careful.

For the first round I got crewmate which was disappointing because I was hoping to kill the kid but I guess I could be a good crewmate, one of my tasks were in electrical so I decided to go there first so I didn't have to return. As I was doing the wires I noticed that the lights went down which was never a good sign, as soon as I was done with the wires I ran out of electrical and decided to follow Niki since she seemed the less sus out of everyone. While I was following Niki I realized how lonely it was playing something without talking to chat and answering questions from donos, it was weird just playing in silence. I didn't like it, I am definitely going to start streaming again.

While I was busy thinking I didn't notice Niki suddenly venting and leaving me in weapons with Tubbo who after noticing I was there proceeded to kill me. I was surprised to be killed that quickly, maybe I should've been paying more attention to the game. Not long after Tubbo killed me Jack reported my body.

" Wait who died?" (Dream)

" CYPRESS NOOO" (Wilby)

" Subscribe to Technoblade" (do I even have to say?)

" Where was the body?" (Tubbo)

" Weapons, where was everybody?" (Jack)

" I was AFK the whole time" (Tommy)

" I was with Techno the whole time" ( Wilby)

" True, he wouldn't stop following me"(pig dude)

" I was with Cypress for sometime but then she stopped following me and left" (Queen)

" What about you Tubbo?" (Jack)

" I was at weapons but I didn't see Cypress enter"(Beeeeeeeeees)

" That's kinda sus Tubbo" (wilby)

" I doubt that Tubbo killed the women"

" Tommy you were AFK the whole time, how would you know?" (pig dude)

" Because I know Tubbo would never do that"

" I'm voting Tubbo" (Jack)

" Me too, sorry Tubbo" (Queen)

Everyone voted Tubbo and muted again, since I was a ghost I was just going to finish my tasks. After I was done with them I notice Niki killing Techno and venting, I could imagine him complaining, he had been saying in the lobby that he never died but I guess he was proved wrong today. I decided to follow him around just to annoy him but he didn't seem to mind, Niki managed to get three more kills before Tommy saw her vent. As soon as Tommy told everyone they voted her off

" Wait... TUBBO YOU WERE AN IMPOSTER?!"

" Sorry Tommy, but thanks for defending me!"

" I THOUGHT YOU WERE INNOCENT"

Before Tommy could yell anything else Will interrupted him

" Niki, how did you manage to kill four people?"

" As soon as I killed someone I would hide in the vents for a bit before getting out"

" Thank you for sharing Niki, I might use that if I'm imposter next round" (Cypress)

She giggled at that but didn't say anything (I'm running out of ideas here) Needless to say, I got imposter next round with Techno, I managed to kill the child. Me and Techno managed to win while not being accused of being sus. After a few more rounds of Among Us those who were streaming decided to end it so they muted themselves, everyone was talking while we waited for the others to unmute. When they finally came back everyone decided to tell stories of their childhood, almost everyone shared but Dream and me didn't, I imagine Dream didn't share because he just didn't but I didn't share because I didn't really have an exciting childhood. I mean, my childhood wasn't bad, but I would disagree with my parents in almost everything, plus my parents are very homophobic and a bit racist, so I didn't really talk to them much. The only thing I would count as exciting would be when I met my best friends Will and Lily (short for Lillian).

Everyone kept talking for awhile more when people started leaving, claiming to be tired or they had something to do, which was understandable. Techno announced that he was leaving as well and I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed, I quite liked his presence although we never really talked to each other much. After he left I figured I might as well leave since Will already did claiming that he needed to work on a new song, I said my good byes and wondered what I should do next. In the end I decided to go out and eat something since I finally got hungry and it was already 12:08PM

I put on some shoes and put my hair into a ponytail and headed out.

You can tell that I was starting to run out of ideas at the end, but I'm still quite satisfied with this chapter. Also.....
