the third week came in, with a twist.
a well-known artist came and is a part
of the judges—her name's macy aquino.
and unknown to alice, she was joslyn's ex.

to make matters worse, joslyn figured it out
when macy came into her apartment, being
a judge and a critique; a messy aspect she
didn't need. and macy shouldn't be here,
especially knowing the head artist said that
it'll be in week five before the ball, not in three.

“macy? what are you doing here?” joslyn asked, bewildered and confused as to why she was around. “didn't you hear? i was asked to come” macy responds, a rather colder reply than she anticipated. joslyn's mind is on another topic, but she wants to know why'd the sudden change.

“no, and we were told that it was in the fifth,
not in the third; did something happen?” joslyn asks, still not sure what to do or how to act really. everything felt weird to her, macy being her ex and is currently a part of the judging panel, it was all too much for her to process.

“well, things change, josie.” macy starts, she's
been taking a lot of pictures as she's to view
them with the rest of the judge. “and besides,
there's no room for us to talk. let's keep it that
way, loves.” macy ends coldly, she turns and just leaves joslyn as she was.

joslyn rosé gomez was now staring at her work, she's thinking about wanting to change it or not, but really, she's been thinking about macy; what exactly happened and why was she chosen?
