Seven year old falls on ground while breathing heavily with a woden sword in his left hand.

"I can't do it anymore, mom!" He whined to which his mother just shakes her head and looks back at him.

"Come on, you just started." His mother laugh lightly.

The lil boy look at his mother with a small smile seeing his mother laugh, which is very rare after his big brother left.

He sigh as he look up at the blue sky still laying on ground well more like spread out like a starfish.

"Hey mommy?" He called his mother to which his mother who is practicing her swords stop and look at her son spreading on ground. She sigh as she answer in a 'yes honey?'

"Why did hyung leave and when will he be back?" The young boy ask still looking at the sky with a pout now.

His mother sigh and she walks to his son and sits next to him on ground. Like light his son put his head on her lap to which a smile appears on the boy's mother face but a lil one as she starts stroking her son hairs.

"Well, hyung made a mistake and in punishment he was banished out." She told his son the truth and watch as his son sit straight and looks at his mother with a small frown on his beautiful face.

"But hyung didn't do anything, mom." She sigh again as she push one strand behind her son's ear.

"Its in the condition contract me and your father sign when we build this house that even if we hurt a fly here, we will leave this place and same gose for our kids if they decided to live here as well."

"But this isn't in the territory of the village then why?" The boy ask with seriousness now.

"Cause we are hunters."

"Is hunter being a crime or a slave then? If we are being threaten like animals and are trap in these  contracts?"

"Honey, its not like that." His mother sigh and looks at the sky.

"Maybe. We are."

"Moth-"

"But this is where our test comes, Where our exam comes from, to see if we are even capable to become a hunter or not." She looks at her son who kept looking at her.

She smiles at her son.

"By these 'contracts' and treating us like 'animals' show our patience and our devotion to the duties we are assigned to." She said as she looks up at her son again.

"Being hunter is not a crime, its a blessing."

"A blessing of what mother? All I see is being treated badly and with no respect?"

"Your wrong, dear. Even tho they  disrespect us but deep down they know that we are the only ones who can save them if IGNUS plans to come again." She says softly looking at her son.

"Promise me, if you are assigned or even didn't assigned as a hunter, you will devote yourself in protecting and helping the hunters  as their Lighttens."

"I promise you. Mom."

"Lighttens aren't hunters but are helpers of hunters, like if their is one vampire hunter than their maybe or maybe not, depending if they want to help them will call 'lighttens'.

Lighttens term was first discovered when a shadow willing to bury her life for everyone even tho she wasn't choosen as a hunter, but due to her devotion, he was given the name of Lighttens.

Her name was Elizabeth.

And she died while almost slaying IGNUS.

and in her remembrance, all the others who devoted them, called Lighttens"

The young boy blink his eyes while admiring the stars above him while his head laying on his mother's lap who told him the HISTORY of LIGHTTENS.

"So.. mommy, does these Lighttens have a special mark or something like that, which represents that they are Lighttens?" He ask as he look at his mother who shrugs lightly.

"Well.. I have no idea, cause.. after her, their were no more Lighttens found."

"And why's that?"

"Cause everyone become afraid, well, more like everyone become selfish? Yh you can put it down like that."

"Mom."

"Mhm.?"

"I will become a hunter and if I failed, I would become the second lighttens and save everyone from darkness."

The boy's mother smile as she hug her son to her chest.

"You will, you will baby. You will."
