A month has passed away after taking place of that dreadful incident. It was raining  cats and dogs there was indications of a storm the thunder was blazing in the sky .

screams of a women was filled in the walls and corridors of the palace of mathura . king of vrishini was pacing back and forth before the room tensed about his wife and child .

Devaki was trying to pacify him Krishna and Balram were eagerly waiting for their sister suddenly screams of another person was heard

"maharaj ki jai maharani gave birth to your daughter" ayurvati said coming out " how is maharani" "she is unconscious for now she will get up in any moment we are cleaning the baby you can see her after that"

"take this as my gift ayurvati you have enlighten me with a great news" he handed a chain to her and went inside to see his baby and wife he took his baby into his hands his eyes swelled with pride

The storm calmed down a bit and sun rays peeked through the clouds and was falling on baby's face her smile was like first rays of sun

"my daughter vritika" Vasudev was having tears in his eyes seeing his daughter "arya let me see my daughter give to me" Devaki asked he handed her to Devaki she is so happy to have a daughter "arya I want to name her a vibha rays of sun" "sure Devaki she is your daughter too"

"putri Vibha arya look it think she likes her name how she is smiling" "maiya we want to hold our sister too" Krishna and Balram asked

"Awe she is cute ,button nose ,small lips ,she is so small" Balram said "I am you Krishna Bhaiya you and me will make a team and we will trouble dau so much okay" kahna asked baby giggled in response

"oye she will be in my team and we both will team up and trouble you by complaining all your mischiefs to maiya 😝 you will be in my team right my diya" "see her expressions changed she will be only in my team 😝"

"Now stop fighting you two she will be on her fathers side not your side" Vasudev too joined them "arya you too joined them now stop you three see jiji is waking up"

Rohini slowly opened her eyes saw all her family members smiling at her Vasudev immediately sat near her "thanks you Rohini you have given me the most precious gift see my daughter how cute and she will be my pride Rohini she will be our pride" "yes arya our daughter will be our pride and I will make sure of it"

Krishna's face fell hearing that but composed himself and maintained his enchanting smile Rohini was happy to see her baby in her hands and promised herself that she will make her a perfect princess Balram and Krishna were looking each other and sighed thinking about the consequences the challenges she is going to face in her life

Naming ceremony
   Rohini and Vasudev were sitting near yagnakund and pouring ghee in the kund many priests were chanting mantras viritika was peacefully sleeping in her father's lap

"maharaj please name your daughter the only princess of mathura" "yes pandit ji she will be known as vrithika which means boon that what she is to our family and Vibha the ray of light diya one who gives light in darkness"

"Rajkumari vritika ki Jai Rajkumari vrithika ki jai maharaj Vasudev ki Jai maharani Rohini ki Jai" all hailed for their king queen and princess "pandit ji please check her kundali and say us if there any problems" Rohini asked

"ji maharani we will see any say" pandits after seeing her kundali and saw each other not knowing how to tell them

"Maharani rajkumari's life is full of quests in each step she has to prove herself but she will always be shield of their loved ones she will always be against social norms and society's rules she will right a new history she will change everything but she will do one disgraceful act which may lead to now her father's head in shame but even she will be pride of kingdom" pandit said this was it Rohini was struck with the word disgraceful act that will lead to bow her father's head in shame she want her to be a good princess but she will go against the society norms she made her mind to not let her do anything like that

But Vasudev have another thoughts that his daughter will change people's mentality she will be torch barrier for many she will pave a new path for others he felt proud for being her father he was happy and thought to stand with her in her difficulties

Time lapse
After birth of vritika many things changed mathura was developed so much but attacks of jarasandh were going on but mathura stayed strong in every war .

four years after birth of another princess took place she was named as Subhadra,vritika is overprotective when it comes to Subhadra she never lets anyone to scold or harm her but Vasudev always pampers vritika more than Subhadra. Vritika was more close to Devaki than Rohini. Rohini is always strict with her.

She always wants her to be disciplined and well mannered but she being Krishna's sister can't stop her mischiefs and always gets ear full from her mother but never said anything against her

"Devaki have you seen vriti anywhere" Rohini asked not able to find vritika anywhere "jiji she might be playing with her friends somewhere she is a kid you can't always keep her locked" Devaki said

"but Devaki she is becoming more mischievous day by day she is troubling everyone out there they are complaining me about that what will I do with her"

"jiji it is their age to do mischiefs and Krishna has done more than this right you are being too hard towards her she needs your care and love to but you are always being strict towards her"

"I know Devaki but what can I do I always think about the prophecy if she will be like this then she has to face hurdles and I am worried about her Devaki I know I am being strict but if I won't be so she will do something and fall trouble"

"but u can't cage her Rohini thinking about her future you are ruining her present she is just a 10 year child who is trying to explore world let her do it" Vasudev said coming inside the room

"But arya" "no Rohini with your strictness you are losing your daughter you yourself making her to dislike you have you ever thought why doesn't she even talk with you properly you have already created a barrier between you both now don't make it a wall between you two" Vasudev said knowing about the consequences then they heard a scream they went out they saw vritika beating a courtier's son and Subhadra sobbing standing beside them

Rohini immediately went and dragged her inside "what is this kind of behaviour is this how can you beat someone like this is this is the thing I have taught you" "do you know what he has done" that's it a slap landed on her face Rohini

"what ever I do you will always take it as my sole mistake" vritika said not able to control her anger why is she getting punished when she didn't do something wrong Rohini lifted her hand again to beat her but Vasudev stopped her

"Rohini enough how can you lift your hand on my daughter" "arya after seeing what she has done you are still supporting her" "I have never thought my daughter to punish an innocent first listen to her story and do something"

"Putri why have you bet him" "pitashree you and mata always said to me that to protect my sister he pushed Subhadra down and she got hurt but he didn't even apologise her instead of taunted her being weak girl I couldn't control myself and I bet him I have fulfilled my promise"

"see Rohini you have raised hand on her without knowing the truth" "but arya she could have told us about this" "mata I am able to protect my sister I don't need anyone's support for that and I can't stand there and see my sister getting hurt pitashree mata always has a problem with what ever I do or not do why I am being wronged for everything that I haven't done she never scolds dau or Bhaiya or Bhadra for their mischiefs she always gives me punishment for the things I haven't done to why does she hate me so much" vritika questioned everybody present there they were astonished they never had seen her this angry

she always accepted what ever punishment given to her by her mother but today she slapped her in front everyone this is not a small matter to her she marched out the hall to her room and closed it from inside Vasudev was about to go behind her but Devaki stopped and said she needs some time to cool her and took crying Subhadra with her and went away

"Look what have you done Rohini she thinks that you hate her today you have crossed limits you didn't even listen to her I know you are concerned about her but this is too much mend it before it gets worse" Vasudev said this and went away from there towards his daughter's room Rohini collapsed there itself sobbing

All were trying to open the door but vritika was not even responding to anyone's pleas Subhadra was crying her sister was everything to her without seeing her she can't even stay for a moment but vritika locked herself from that incident now it's past dinner time but she didn't even budge to open the door all thought that she will open door in few hours but it is almost day but she still isn't opening the door

"putri open door dear please" Devaki was banging the door but they were getting no response from her side they all were tensed "jiji open the door please" Subhadra was trying to push the door but couldn't she never says no to Subhadra in anything but today she is not even answering her calls all were tensed Balram and Krishna came then only from rishi sandipani's ashram for a holiday they saw all gathered near their sister's room

"Baba what happened why all of you standing in front of Diya's room"Balram asked concern dripped in his voice "bal vriti has closed herself in her room since morning not even opening the doors or responding to us" Vasudev said having tears in his eyes thinking how much his daughter is hurt

"wait I will break the door kahna help me"Balram said Krishna nodded and broke the door what they saw made their whole world upside down vritika was lying unconscious at centre of the room everything in her room is broken or thrown away Krishna immediately grabbed his sister in his arms and made her lay on the bed

"Vriti open your eyes vriti look at your Bhaiya I have come to meet you get up" "diya if you are not going to get up we are never going to visit you again get up" "jiji please get up I will never ask you to do anything from me no need to take my faults on your head and get scolded instead of me please see your sister" all three siblings were crying seeing their sister their life lying unconscious on the bed Vasudev and his wife's were to numb to react ugrasen immediately ordered ved to come

Ved was checking her all the family members were pacing near her room Bhadra was crying clinging to Krishna Balram was trying to pacify Devaki who is crying uncontrollably Rohini and Vasudev didn't speak a word.

Ved came out and informed she fainted due to stress and weakness and will wake up in anytime and went away all went near to see her Subhadra hugged her sister and slept beside her Krishna and Balram were caressing their heads and vritika's cheek which was still red.

Vritika slowly opened her eyes to find everyone around her she tried to get up but saw her sister sleeping peacefully hugging her "dau Bhaiya when have you come" "some hours before vriti what have you done to yourself if you have missed me this much you could have visited me right"

"ha missing and you no never you have left me why I have to bother about you" "so you didn't miss us ha then who used to ask Devaki maiya every day to say tales of her brother's ha" Krishna teased her vriti didn't say anything just huffed Vasudev came near her and pecked her forehead

"bal kahna take Bhadra from here and go I want to talk to her" "okay baba" they went away with her now slowly she got up from her place

"Never pull this kind of stunt again you know how much worried we were" "sorry baba I don't know when I got unconscious I was sitting on the floor that is what I remember" vritika answered innocently Devaki embraced her and tears were rolling from her eyes " never do this again you are my life putri I can't again see my child going away from me I lost my 6 children putri I can't lose you too"

"maiya look I am here only I will not go anywhere leaving you alone" vritika said "now eat today I will feed my daughter with my own hands" Vasudev said "of course I am hungry now feed me" vritika said opening her mouth and rubbing her stomach Vasudev and Devaki chuckled seeing her antics Rohini was going to touch her but vritika retreated away from her before her hand reaching her Vasudev caught her hand

"I don't want you to even come near her from today you are only mother of bal and Bhadra Devaki today onwards she will be known as Devakisuta not as Rohini suta you will take care of her" Vasudev said "but arya she is my daughter" Rohini tried to oppose his decision

"the same daughter whom we were going to lose today because of your idiocy now go from her I don't want you near her only" Vasudev roared vritika flinched a little bit seeing her father's anger Rohini reluctantly went away

"but arya jiji is her mother you can't take her rights away from her" "Devaki I know she is her mother and concerned about her future but thinking about her future she ruined her childhood and what she did today I have almost lost her and I don't want her to go through this again will u take care of her like your daughter" Vasudev asked her

"she is my daughter arya and will always be and I promise I will not let anything happen to her" "that is enough for me she is my life" " oh hello I am here somebody feed me I am hungry maiya baba" vritika said pouting they both laughed and fed her with her hands
