vritika was about to sleep but soon subhadra joined her saying she wanted to sleep with her . But all the boys who wanted to talk with her were disappointed . soon subhadra hugged her and slept peacefully after so many years she felt home like feeling in her sister's embrace . But condition of vritika was totally different she was fearing to sleep she might be a strong person , head strong and hot headed person for all but only she knows she is a total broken person from inside who is trying to hide her pain with her anger and smile on her face . Thinking of those things slowly she embraced darkness and let sleep overpower her.

other side karn was restless because he has hurt the person who is most important for him after his family, he wanted to ask her forgiveness but was not getting a chance to ask her . Slowly he made his way towards the royal garden sat on the bench .

vritika was squirming on her bed she was having a dream
"a girl of twelve to thirteen years was chained and locked at a dungeon don't know from how many days not a single ray of sun light was passing through the walls or bars , she was trying to get free from those chains but of no use she was screaming for help in a hope that some one will hear her and will come to save her "help" "please save me" are the only words leaving her mouth soon she lost the hope of being saved her throat went dry due to continues screaming and no energy was left in her her sobs died she lost hope of being free . Only the sound of her stomach growling was reaching her ears soon darkness consumed her eyes after so much time she heard foot steps of a person fear was the only emotion which was going through her soon the foot steps became more clear as if they were coming towards her but she couldn't see anything due to the darkness he was about to do something"

(Imagine it as dark dungeon)

Soon in no time vritika woke up she was totally sweating and her breath was uneven she was unable to breathe properly she immediately took some water to calm her down and saw Subhadra who was sleeping soundly thought not to disturb her and went near royal gardens to have some fresh air .

She took and deep breath and released tears were involuntarily flowing from her she wanted to erase her memories from her past but they were haunting her every day every minute fear of being caged again. But suddenly she felt someone's presence backside of her she immediately panicked and took her dagger turned to aim at him at his neck but seeing his face she lowered the dragger

"Radhey" this is the only word left from her mouth she immediately hugged him and placed her head at his neck crook. Karn who saw her coming towards royal garden saw her lost in thoughts went near her to ask her forgiveness he was taken aback by her sudden gesture

he was not understanding what to do he never experienced this proximity with any other women even though they were friends but they were children when they met each other that time it didn't mattered him

but now her hot breath was touching his skin unknown emotions were running through his body soon his shoulder was feeling wet he saw her crying silently he didn't know what happened to her according to him she was the most strong person he has ever met in his life but her sobs were piercing his heart he never wanted to see her cry soon he reciprocated her with hug tried to soot her pain no words were exchanged he understood her she needs someone she can't always stay strong

Soon her sobs died she was sniffing but was not ready to leave him "vriti what happened" karn asked her she just shook her head "vriti listen it is not necessary to always be strong you have to let lose your emotions and share them with someone if not me then with someone else or else those will haunt you" karn tried to make conversation with her but of no use she was not able to speak anything all the emotions which bottled up were about to come out she wanted to share everything with him but she didn't want to be burden for him

he is also gone through so much in his life she didn't want to add weight on his shoulder more she thought to remain silent "vriti I am sorry I shouldn't have spoke in such a way but the grudge I was carrying on him I have vented it in that way not intend to insult art or your feelings" karn apologised for his mistakes but still he didn't get any reply from her

"vriti don't scare me with your silence say something scold me or get angry but don't be silent it is killing me" karn said not able to see her condition a lone tear from his eyes fell on her cheeks finally she responded to his plea "Dar lag raha he Radhey firse kahi us Andheri ki pakad me na chali jaun phirse" vritika said still not leaving him the word 'again' striked him hard

'What she meant by again? It means she has faced something which made her fall this weak she might be strong but she too is a human who needs someone to lean on mein uska sahara nahi sathi banana chatahu. I want to be in every mode of her life . Hey Narayan give me strength to handle her and make her forget this pain' karn thought

"I promise you vriti you are not alone if that darkness consumes you again but in few seconds I will pull you towards me I will not let you go through all of this alone once you left me maybe for our own good but I will not let you leave me this time and even I will not leave you this is my promise to you and you know that this Radhey of yours will never breaks his promise" karn tried to assure her "promise" she finally said breaking the hug looking into his eyes to find if he is saying truth what she saw was pure determination, care and love .

He was seeing uncertainty in her eyes pain which was pulling and destroying her from inside he cupped her cheeks and pecked her forehead to assure her "pakka promise" karn said a small smile appeared on her face "now you have to sleep vriti it is already so late" karn said on thoughts of sleep that smile vanished and it was replaced with fear and worry

"let's go" "no what if he comes again and take me away" "no one is going to take you away vriti at least till I am alive" "you will not leave me like others do right" "I you want also I won't I will stick to you like leech" "giraffe" "hey now stop teasing me" karn chuckled seeing her back to normal again

"I will escort you till your room come" she nodded and he left her till her room she immediately turned to see him "Radhey thank you" "why so vriti" " for being there for me and not asking me the reason for my break down" she said with a smile "vriti listen I will always be there for you when you feel like sharing with me I will be there for u" karn said moving closer to her and pecking her forehead once again she closed her eyes to feel warmth of his touch a satisfaction ram threw her body .

She felt like she found her missing puzzle which she was searching for she stood there saw the disappearing figure of karn and went back to sleep
This time she slept peacefully without any fear that she is not alone

But one thing she didn't understood that when she didn't trust her brothers or sister or her family or even her adopted family but she found solace with karn. What is this new feeling creeping her mind and heart.

His condition too was the same he was not able to understand what was happening to him when she was near him he felt peace which he never felt with anyone he can talk about anything with but she will never judge him but always tried to correct his mistakes she was there for him not physically but in his mind always her talks made him feel that he is not alone but he failed to make her feel the same he was accusing himself for not being able to be with her when she needed him the most he promised himself now he will not let her feel alone anymore soon slept embraced him

Far away a person with morpank on his head was sleeping on swing with a enchanting smile "now my sister won't be alone anymore she found someone who will be there for her every time and angraj be ready to handle her you asked me to provide you strength to help her bring out his trauma

I am sorry dear sister I was not able to do anything for you I was not able to be with you when you needed me the most you called me for help but my hands were bound by fate but now they have to pay for what they had done to my sister be ready to face your biggest fear again

diya but this time you are not going to be alone this time your Radhey will be with you if possible please forgive this brother of yours for not being able to fulfil his promise to protect you" alone tear flowed from his eyes

"God can feel mortals pain, but she more dearer to him his sister how would he been through to see her going through all this"
