"So what is it you want to ask the light?" Ra's Al Ghul sent La'gaan a curious look.

"I just wanted to see where we were on destroying the team, especially the Martian and Kryptonian," remarked La'gaan. In truth, he was a little scared of what he was doing. Joining up with the Light, what was he thinking? But then he remembered what was fueling his rage; Megan. He only desired seeing her dead body, along with her current boyfriend. He could already imagine both of them lying on the floor, sleeping; never to wake up again. You also couldn't forget how much La'gaan despised the team. He felt completely unwanted and rejected around them. Nightwing didn't even trust his own team with the information that Kaldur was a double-agent! How could La'gaan ever trust them again?

So now he was sure that he had made the right descion.

"Do you have any additional information?" Lex Luther glared at La'gaan. He still didn't trust the Atlantean, at all.

"Yes. Nightwing told us that we are getting a new member today, who is Superman's true son."

Gasps were heard all throughout the room.

"Superman has a...son?" Lex Luthor could just not comprehend this. In all the times he had fought the man of steel, he never would have guessed that he was a father. That got him thinking. Maybe that would of changed things? Maybe it would have been different; after all, one thing Lex tried to avoid was orphaning a child.

La'gaan nodded his head 'yes'.

"I bet it was with that reporter bitch," muttered Queen Bee.

"Nonetheless, I think we should have some fun with him! Don't you think so Tikal?" Klarion let out a creepy laugh as his cat "meowed".

"Agreed, it would be wise to make a move on him and Batman's son. Humans suffer the most at the loss of their children. Even the man of steel and dark knight will be driven mad," said the Brain. Everyone nodded their head in agreement.

"Deathstroke, are you getting this?" asked Vandal Savage.

Deathstroke stepped out the shadows. "I'm already liking this mission." He began to chuckle darkly.

"Any more info you have on this Kryptonian?"

"Yes. I did some extra snooping around and got this." La'gaan pulled out a file and began to read. "Name: Jon Samuel Kent. Age: 11. Place of Birth: Hamilton County. Powers: Super Hearing, Invulnerability, Super Strength, Heat Vision, Freeze Breath, X-Ray Vision. However, since he is so young, his powers are still developing. So, he can potentially get all the powers of Superman. Additionally, he is not very consistent. His powers sometimes fade, and sometimes depend on his emotion."

"Perfect," said Deathstroke.

"Yes. We will teach the team and the Justice League what happens when you mess with the Light."

"Okay, time for the new member!" exclaimed Dick. Excitement was clearly embedded in his face. He couldn't wait to finally introduce the new teammate.

"Just fucking tell us who it is," grumbled Red Hood.

"Yes. Save us the tedious and protracted wait," remarked Robin.

"They should be arriving any moment now," said Aqualad.

"Just tell us," whined Beast Boy.

Jaime and Bart were in the corner smiling and giggling over something. Ever since last week, they seemed to be even more inseparable; which didn't even seem possible. They seemed to share a secret that no one else knew, nobody questioned it though.

"Well I will say that one of you is actually really close friends with him," said Nightwing. He sent a small look at Robin, but no one actually noticed.

Everyone patiently waited in silence.

Superman, 01. Superkid, B-30.

Immediately, a young boy with a superman sweatshirt and red converse ran in. He made eye contact with Damian and ran towards him.

"Robin!" shrieked the boy and he engulfed the other in a hug, tackling him to the floor. "My dad said you'd be here! I didn't believe him but oh my gosh-"

"Jon," exclaimed Damian. He wasn't able to stop the smile that spread across his face. He hugged Jon back. "I wasn't informed that you'd be on the team." Little did he know Red Hood and his brothers were staring at him and the new boy.

"I decided to make it a surprise," said Jon, with a smirk on his face. Aqualad awkwardly cleared his throat, and Damian immediately pulled back, embarrassed to be hugged.

"This is Superkid, he is Superman's son," said Aqualad. Dick sent Conner a concerning look. He had no idea how Conner was going to react to this. On one hand, he could become a sort of "brother" figure to Jon.

Or he could completely lash out and destroy the Watchtower out of jealousy.

Superman walked in with a smile. "This is Jon, my son. He was super excited to finally be able to to join the team."

Conner stared at Jon. At first, he felt hate. So this was the guy that Superman treasured more than him? He wanted to punch Superman and "Superkid" so bad. He wanted to yell and scream. Wasn't he worthy of Superman's love?

Suddenly, he felt a small body collide with his. He looked down, and realized that it was Jon, hugging him. At that moment, nothing else mattered. He didn't know what to describe this new feeling in his stomach. He gently hugged Jon back and smiled down at him.

"I'm so sorry! It's just that dad told me so much about you and you sound so awesome! And I just wanted to do that and I hope that maybe we could be..." Jon looked up at him with hopeful eyes and nervously twiddled his thumbs. Conner gave him a curious look.

"Brothers," whispered Jon. Conner's heart melted on the spot. The boy in front of him wanted to be, brothers? He didn't know how to react, so he simply nodded his head "yes". Superman was the only one who had heard what Jon said, and softly smiled. He was proud, of both his sons. He quickly exited the room, giving the Team some privacy.

Jon jumped up excited and ran back to Damian's side. "It's been so long Da-, I mean Robin...So, whatcha you been up to? Introduce me!"

Damian sighed. "Just talk to all these imbeciles yourself." Jon gave him a smile, that was the Damian he loved. "Are these your friends? Did you have to kidnap them too?" asked Jon, with a smirk.

"Very funny. So far, the only person I have kidnapped is you. Plus, these aren't my friends," grumbled Damian. Jon clicked his tongue. "See, that's why they're not your friends, you haven't kidnapped them yet. Everyone knows that the only way you can make friends is if you kidnap them, since ya literally have no social skills whatsoever," said Jon, with a smug grin. Jason, Tim, and Dick burst into laughter at this, and at how true the statement was. Damian growled, he had forgotten how annoying Jon could be sometimes. "Shut up bastard."

"Awwwww, I love you too." Damian grumbled and looked the other way. "Okay, who the hell are you kid?" asked Red Hood, with a smile. This kid had managed to make Damian Wayne speechless. He couldn't wait to befriend him.

Jon pouted. "Robin didn't tell you about me? I'm his best friend in the whole wide universe!" Jon slung his arm around Damian's shoulder and pulled him closer. Damian blushed and pulled his head down. He didn't, however, recoil from Jon's touch. All the batboys took a note of this. "Jon Kent, Superkid, please to meet you all!"

Everyone introduced themselves and immediately took a liking to Jon. There were so many things to love about him; his energetic personality, his funny jokes, his carefree attitude. They could not fathom, however, how Jon was best friends with Robin, willingly. They were literally exact opposites! Robin was dark and brooding; and on the other hand, Jon was lighthearted and optimistic.

The most confused, however, were Dick, Tim, and Jason. Who was this kid that Damian had willing hugged? Dick honestly felt a little betrayed, whenever he tried to hug Damian, he had immediately been cursed at and pushed off. So why was this kid being treated differently?

After everyone had met Jon, Conner and Megan had headed to the cafe to grab a bite to eat. (YES THE WATCHTOWER HAS AS CAFE). They ate in silence as Megan stared at her boyfriend's face.

"What?"

"I was just wondering what Jon said to you. He's seems like a really nice and sweet kid."

"Yah, way nicer than our new Robin."

"Hey! He's pretty kind too, in his own special way..."

"He's a complete jerk."

"I bet he just has issues."

"Lots of issues, and this is coming from the guy who spent his childhood in a pod." Megan laughed at her boyfriend and softy kissed him.

"But seriously, what did that kid say?"

"He asked me to be his...brother." Megan squealed and went to hug her boyfriend. "Oh my gosh, that's so adorable! You guys would be the cutest siblings ever!"

Conner grumbled at being called "cute", but shook it off. After all, Megan was his girlfriend.

Megan smiled and went in for another kiss. She was just purely relieved that Conner had forgiven her. For everything; first, her turning to the dark side a bit, and completely destroying aliens' mental health. Second, for trying to erase a part of his mind. And third, for dating La'gaan. She honestly didn't think she still forgave herself for doing that. Megan still regretted hurting Conner so much. All she ever wanted to do was be with him, in a relationship.

"Everyone report to the mission room," said Aqualad, through the speaker system. Everyone immediately rushed to the mission room.

"What's the mission?"

"I never said that they're would be a mission."

Everyone groaned in frustration. "Why did you call us then?"

"Jaime and Bart have a special announcement for all of us," said Aqualad, with a smile on his face.

"OhmygoshthecrashestthinghappenedandmeandJaimearelikedatingnow!"

"What the fuck did you even say kid?"

Jon covered his ears at Jason's profanities, which Damian somehow found adorable. "Is he always like this," whispered Jon.

"Like what? Saying 'fuck'? If so, yes."

"Robin!" Jon clamped Damian's mouth with his hand, silencing him. "Don't say that word!"

Damian sighed. "Shhh, we have to pay attention."

"What Bart means to say is that, we are dating." Jaime protectively wrapped his hand around Bart's waist as Bart gasped and blushed, which Jaime found adorable.

"O. M. G! You guys are so cute together!" squealed Cassie.

"Ah! This is too adorable!" squealed Megan, joining in with Cassie. Conner softly congratulated them as Beast Boy and Virgil gave both boys fist bumps.

"I'm really happy for you guys," said Dick, with a smile.

"Just invite me for the baby shower." Jason smirked at them, under his red helmet, as they both turned red. Damian sighed at his brother's immature behavior and turned his attention to Jon. He wanted to see how he was taking it. They whispered in hush voices so no one would hear them.

"Wait? I guy can actually...date another guy?"

Damian nodded his head. He honestly sometimes forgot how young Jon really was.

"Really? Cool!"

Damian sighed. "Romantic love is pointless anyway, guy or girl."

Jon frowned. "Why do you think so?"

"Love is a complete distraction that only fools have. There is no advantage gained from it. Besides, it's not like some of us are worth anyone's love anyway." Jon frowned, knowing that last line wasn't directed to him, but Damian himself.

"Wrong. I believe that everyone, including you, finds true love."

"Guys! We're having celebratory cake in Jaime and Bart's honor! Dig in!" yelled Beast Boy.

"Ooooo! Cake!" Jon grabbed Damian's hand and dragged him to the middle of the room, where the cake was. All three batboys stared at Damian, expecting him to break free from the hand hold, but he never did. They were all pretty shocked. Damian literally hated human contact! Why did Jon get all theses special privileges?

Damian let a small smile creep onto his face. He just loved how Jon could be plain serious one moment, and back to silly in the next. He couldn't be more thrilled that Jon, his best friend(A/N: **cough cough**, best friend), had become a part of his team.

Perhaps his father's decision for him to join the Team wouldn't be as bad anymore.
