Roya collapsed, gasping. His brother, the only family he had left, was gone. He would never see his face again, never hear his laugh again. Never again.

There was a knock at the door. Roya did not answer. He was scared. Scared of another letter. Another letter bringing more bad news.

The door creaked open, and Roya caught sight of the last person he expected to see.

Damien.

Upon seeing Roya shaking on the floor. Damien's eyes widened and he rushed forward, engulfing Roya in a hug.

"What happened?"
Damien murmured, holding Roya.

All arguments forgotten, Roya responded.
"Jonathan...g-gone."

Understanding flashed through Damien's eyes, and pulled Roya closer.

"What would you like me to do?" Damien's whispered.

"Hold me."
Roya said.

"Forever."

"Come with me to the funeral."

"Of course."

"Stay with me."

"Always."

"Don't let go."

"Never."

And right there, in Damien's arms, Roya did something he hadn't done in 9 years. For the first time in what seemed like an eternity, he let the tears fall.
