Adventure
A/N: This chapter picks up directly at end of the last chapter of Care. Enjoy!
"Hey Doc, it's nice to see you and Marvin again, but we came because there's something important we found out." Dean stated grimly.
"Anti's possessing the body of Seán McLoughlin, an Irishman that lives in Brighton, and I think he and Dark have plans."
"Vait, didn't Anti say zhat he killed Seán?" Schneep interjected, Sam rubbing his chin thoughtfully.
"What the hell are you guys talking about?!" Chase blurted, Sam and Schneep ignoring him as Sam spoke.
"According to the research I dug up, Anti possessed Seán on Halloween in 2016 and made him slit his own throat, but Seán didn't die." Sam paused as he gauged Schneep's expression, the German shaking his head in disbelief.
"You tried to save his life in 2017 when Anti started killing Seán from the inside, but you failed since Anti sabotaged your attempt by briefly possessing you." Sam continued.
"Vhat? I vould remember zhat happening, I am sure of it!" Schneep blurted, his blue eyes wide in surprise.
"Then how is Seán still alive?" Marvin added.
"Anti must've left to possess Schneep after killing Seán to use him as a vessel and then returned to Seán after leaving Schneep on the rooftop." Dean muttered thoughtfully.
"I'm so confused." Chase grumbled sourly, folding his arms over his chest as he glared at the Winchesters.
"Join zhe club buddy." Schneep sighed as he wearily rubbed his face with his hands, Marvin patting Schneep's back soothingly.
"How can we help stop Anti and Dark?" Marvin asked, changing the subject as the magician briefly glanced over at Chase.
"Sam and I can use all the help we can get in case things go south and we get hurt or something." Dean interjected, looking between Marvin, Schneep, and Chase.
"I-I'm not a part of this, I..." Chase trailed off as the four turned to look at him, the male flinching back slightly as he lowered his gaze to the ground.
"I just want to see my kids again." Chase finished quietly, his eyes glimmering with barely restrained tears.
"And that's fine, but you should go home." Sam told Chase gently, the male pausing as he looked at Schneep.
"Look Doc, maybe we can get that drink after you're done doing...whatever it is you're doing?" Chase offered hopefully, Schneep nodding with a smile as he handed Chase his phone so the male could put his number in the German's phone.
"Cool, good luck Doc." Chase grinned, high-fiving Schneep before walking off while hailing a taxi to come get him.
"It's getting late, you should get some sleep and get ready before we go looking for Seán." Dean advised, Schneep looking around him to see the sun sinking below the horizon while casting a golden glow on his face.
"Any idea where Anti and Dark actually are?" Schneep questioned, Dean biting his lip as he nodded.
"Yeah, Dark was last spotted in LA by a couple other hunters in the area." Dean answered, Marvin letting out a quiet sigh of resignation.
"Are you sure you vant to do zhis Zauber?" Schneep whispered to Marvin, the magician smiling sadly.
"You only call me that when you're worried. Of course I'll be okay, just as long as you are too." Marvin assured Schneep before his hands glowed with a pale green magic, the magician touching Schneep's shoulder before the two disappeared.
"Fuck, I don't know how I'm going to get everyone to LA without completely draining myself." Marvin cursed as he and Schneep appeared back at the German's house, the magician staggering over to the couch.
"I know you can do it, you just gotta keep your strength up by eating and drinking plenty." Schneep directed Marvin in a parental tone as he walked into the kitchen to make dinner for them.
"Says you." Marvin countered, Schneep refusing to answer as he stepped out of the kitchen and leaned against the end of the couch.
"I'm fine, I have protein shakes at vork and drink coffee." Schneep assured Marvin, the magician clearly not convinced.
"Yes dad, whatever you say." Marvin shot back, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he shifted on the couch so he was lying down.
"Shut zhe fuck up." Schneep snickered as he returned to the kitchen, the magician sticking his tongue out at the German before Schneep returned to his cooking.
"What're you making anyway? Marvin shouted to Schneep, listening to the sound of the fridge opening before Schneep angrily hissed curses in German under his breath.
"Apparently I'm making nothing since I forgot to get groceries again." Schneep sighed in defeat, the German slamming the fridge door shut with a bang.
"God I'm such a dummkopf." Schneep groaned in irritation as Marvin sat up, Schneep leaving the kitchen and sitting on the couch next to the magician.
"A dumb cough?" Marvin repeated teasingly with a raised eyebrow, Schneep lightly punching the magician in the arm as he retrieved his phone.
"Vhat sounds good?" Schneep prompted, Marvin taking Schneep's phone to dial in a number.
"Hello? Yeah, I'm wanting to order a delivery...okay, I'd like a two liter of Pepsi, an order of breadsticks, and two large Hawaiian pizzas." Marvin stated into the phone.
"And for you?" Marvin whispered, holding the phone away from him.
"I thought-never mind, I'll just have a medium cheese pizza." Schneep answered, Marvin nodding as he repeated what Schneep told him to the other person on the phone.
"Uh-huh...okay thanks!" Marvin cheered before hanging up, returning the phone to Schneep as the German shook his head at him with a small smile.
"You're really going to eat all of zhat pizza?" Schneep questioned in surprise, Marvin resting his hands behind his head.
"You underestimate my power." Marvin declared confidently, Schneep biting his tongue to cut off a laugh that was bubbling in his throat.
"Vhile ve vait, ve should pack." Schneep decided as he stood up, Marvin whining as he took up the rest of the couch.
"Poor baby." Schneep teased, picking Marvin up bridal style before quickly setting him down on his feet.
"You suck." Marvin pouted as he folded his arms over his chest, the magician following Schneep into his room.
"Here, I'll make our job easier." Marvin offered as his hands were engulfed in a pale green magic, Schneep quickly grabbing the magician's hands.
"Don't vaste your energy, you vill need it." Schneep told Marvin, the magician snorting in amusement as Schneep looked down at his hands holding Marvin's, the German quickly lowering his hands to rest at his side.
"What will I need energy for tonight, huh?" Marvin prompted innocently, Schneep's face burning a bright red hue in embarrassment as he looked away while digging his suitcase out of the closet.
By the time the two placed their fully packed suitcases by the front door, the pizza arrived shortly after much to Marvin's delight.
"Mmmm." Marvin sighed in content as he set the boxes on the table, opening them to breathe in the mouth watering scent wafting from them.
"Zhat looks disgusting." Schneep muttered as he wrinkled his nose in disgust, eying Marvin's pizzas warily as he grabbed a couple of paper plates for them before grabbing a couple of cups.
"You look disgusting." Marvin retorted teasingly, Schneep pretending to look offended as he hit Marvin in the head with his paper plate before grabbing a couple slices of pizza.
"You are such a child." Schneep remarked to Marvin through a mouthful of pizza, the German pouring Pepsi into a cup for himself.
"Right back at ya." Marvin winked, the magician pouring himself a glass before picking it up and clinking it against Schneep's.
"Here's to hoping that we live to see another day." Marvin announced before taking a drink with Schneep following suite.
"I'm going to bed." Schneep announced as he stood up, throwing his plate away and placing his cup in the sink.
"Only four slices? You quitter." Marvin joked, Schneep flipping Marvin off before disappearing into his bedroom and shutting the door behind him.
Marvin finished his pizzas before he cleaned up the kitchen using his magic, the magician feeling drained as he trudged down the hall to the guest room where he slept.
"Hopefully I won't be gone long." Marvin murmured as he flipped on the lights, illuminating the blue painted walls of the room as well as the bed and closet inside.
"Goodnight Schneep!" Marvin yelled to Schneep as he fell into bed still dressed in his normal clothes, the magician using his magic one last time to turn off the lights before falling asleep.
