Michonne's P.O.V

"Michonne, Jay wants to see you.." Sasha whispered

She rubbed my back as I cried on her shoulder.
"I think he really needs to talk to you."

I sat up and wiped my eyes, "br- br- bring him in." I stammered

Sasha nodded and got up and walked out the room, she soon came back with Jay trailing behind, an ear to ear smile secured his face.

He wasted no time and instantly ran to me, shoving papers in my face.
"look! Rick was drugged by that lady and she raped him! no lie!"

What?...
I took the papers from him and sure enough, Rick had Ruphynol in his system.

I sat there and stared at the papers because I didn't know what to say.
"s- so he didn't have sex with her?"

"No-- I mean I guess he did but not under his consent it was rape, it wasn't his fault." Jay exclaimed

I pulled my dreads behind my ears and gazed at Jay.
Rick didn't cheat on me and I acted like a crazy woman to him. I have to apologize.

"I have to apologize." I murmured

Jay smiled at me and snatched the papers, "What are we still doing here?"

he snatched my hand and maneuvered me out into the family room where Carl, Judith, Abraham and Sasha sat.
"C'mon guys we're making things right and you don't wanna miss this!"

Jay shot everyone a grin and they got up and followed, without asking any questions.

Rick's P.O.V

I heard the door open downstairs and footsteps run up them. No one runs up the stairs except Jay and Carl and Carl is still angry so it must be Jay.

Sure enough, Jay ran into the room and opened the dresser drawer and grabbed something out.
"Rick she's here and she's here to apologize," he panted

He walked over to me, slowly, and smiled, placing the charm into my hand.
"It's now or never bud."

I stared at the small ring in my hand and I could feel a panic attack coming on..

"What do I say?" I exclaimed
Jay yanked me off the bed and pushed me out the door, "You've got this. I believe in you."

Jay pushed me to the top of the stairs, where we stared down at Michonne, Carl and the others. Her eyes were loaded with tears and watching her grin at me, I realized that I could do it.

Before she could speak, I cut her off and dramatically took a step down,
"Michonne, I know you probably think I'm the biggest poarchdick in history right now, but I'm sorry,"

I sighed, "If I've ever made you sad, If I've ever made you cry and If I've ever hurt you, I'm sorry."

I took another step after every sentence I finished, getting closer and closer to her, I was being so dramatic.

"truth is, I don't want to hurt you, you or Carl or anyone else. I would kill to see you smile, I just want you to be happy. "

She covered her face with her hands, and everyone else smiled... even Carl.

"I have a hard time expressing my feelings, yet I know that I love you Michonne. I adore you and I need to spend each day I have on this planet with you. I want to be here for you, and despite the fact that you are the strongest woman I know, I want to be your protector, Your best friend and everything more. I can't deny the fact that you are all the more a mother figure to Carl and Judith and Jay than I am a father, and I love you for that. I want to thank you for giving me happy days and hope in for even better ones. I don't know what it is about you, you're not like any person I have ever met before..You are amazing, you are hilarious, you are beautiful, and I think what I'm trying to say is.. uh,"

I grabbed her hand and kissed it, she knew what I was about to do and she couldn't stop crying.

I looked at Carl and he smiled at me, I looked back at Jay and he winked, and Sasha and Abraham watched in awe.

I got on one knee and stared Michonne dead in her eyes, still holding her soft, cold hand.

"Michonne, will you.. Marry me?" I asked, shyly.

She turned her head for a second, to wipe her tears and catch her breath.
she looked at me and nodded non-stop,

"Rick- I, I can't--"
