Michonne's P.O.V

Today has been a long day and I'm glad to get rest but I surely will be taking my shift tomorrow. After spying on Rick and the Blonde girl for awhile, I know she is nothing but trouble. I gotta stop it now before she gets to close to him.

I sat on the edge of the bed and listened to the boys yelling next door, about only god knows what. Their words were slurred and the only things I heard was, "Dude you're dumb! Batman is way better than Superman."

Which was not true, but Carl is entitled to his own opinion.

I watched Rick leave the field and Jolene run after him for a hug.
Ugh..

He gave her a small hug and she smiled like an idiot. Those are my hugs!

For the first time today, I realized I wasn't smiling.

I heard the door shut downstairs, and Rick walk up the stairs in his boots.

He walked in the room and I stared at him with my 'wtf' eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked

"Nothing." I sat back against the bed, folded my arms and pouted me lips.

He sat beside me and took off his boots and his belt,
"You say nothing is wrong but I something is. So what's up?"

I still didn't say a word so he sighed and held his head down.
"Micho--"

"Who was that girl, working with you?" I asked, in a harsh tone.

"Jolene, she's --- wait.. Is that what you're upset about?" he looked at me confoundedly and smirked,
"Michonne, I'm all yours. You don't have to worry."

I wanted to cry because Rick is all I really have left in this world and I couldn't bear to lose him.

Rick leaned in and pulled me closer to him. "I love you, more than I love myself but nonetheless and I wouldn't leave you for anything, okay?"

I could feel the tears drip down my face and I couldn't speak so I just nodded my head,

"Rick, will you hold me tonight?" I asked, through silent sobs.

He looked at me in all seriousness and kissed my cheek, "of course."

We stared at each other for a while until there was a knock at our door.

Carl.

He stepped in and looked at me, "Meesh are you okay?"
He was was so worried and I could sense it.

"I- I'm okay Carl."

He walked over and hugged me and After his long embrace he began speaking for what ever reason he was here for,

"So as you know, Jay's birthday is in two days.."
Rick and I nodded and he continued,
"I was thinking maybe we could do something special for him, like a cake and we could say some kind words.."

I smiled at how adorable Carl was trying to plan an event, I've never seen him be so sweet.

"Like you know.. Daryl, Rosita and Denise are going on a run tomorrow and I wanted to know if I could go maybe... I could totally grab a present or something while I'm at it."

I looked at Rick and he nodded his head, "yeah, but you be safe. Stay with Daryl. And let me know what I could do for Jay." He said

"Just write a speech."

"I'm not good at those, Carl." 

"Dad just do it. Do it for Jay. You too Michonne."

"I'll get right to it." I smiled

Rick chuckled and nodded, "okay."

Rick's P.O.V

Michonne woke me up this morning, with endless kisses.
I smiled and kissed her back  every single one.
You know it's true love when you can deal with each others morning breath haha.

After our shower together, our really long shower that had to be dismissed before it got too steamy, we discussed our plans for today.

"I have to help Carol with Jay's birthday cake today.." she said, dimly.

"I have to take your shift?" I asked

"I guess..." she's still bummed out about Jolene I suppose.

"That's fine." I said, putting on my belt.

"I gotta run an errand real quick so I'll leave now." she said

She came over and kissed my lips, "I love you, Rick Grimes."
And then she headed downstairs.

Michonne's P.O.V

Before I go bake a cake with Carol, I thought I'd might go 'introduce' myself to Jolene, and lay down a few rules and restrictions.

I put a smile on my face and walked over to the field where she was, "Hi! I'm Michonne!" I said

She sat up and looked at me, "oh, you're on duty today?" she asked, in a rather angry  tone.

"No, Rick is but--"

"Oh goody." she murmured

what the hell... She got me twisted.

"Yeah, but I don't think I formally introduced myself,  I'm Michonne, Rick's girlfriend." I emphasized girlfriend and smiled at her.

She smirked evilly and dusted her hands off, "Heard lots about you. I'm Jolene,"

I smiled and nodded, "Just so you know Rick isn't interested so don't like make moves on him.." I said, awkwardly. I wasn't trying to be rude but I was trying to get it through her head.

"Oh hun, I don't want your man! Even though I could take him if I wanted to, I don't want him." she smiled even wider now.

"Yeah okay, try it and see what happens." I threatened.

Try me Hoelene!
I smiled and walked away but I could hear her giggle as I did.

If she makes another move on Rick I swear to god I will hulk smash her to the ground. She doesn't know me!

Rick's P.O.V

I met Jolene on the field and we began working together. We talked and talked for hours and when It was almost dark, before we both left to go home, she outbursted,
"I met your 'girl' today." She said is a disgusting tone.

"Michonne?"

"Yes, she is rude."

I imagined what Michonne said to her and chuckled, "she's not rude she's just protecting what's hers." I explained

"I'm just saying you don't need a rude girl like her.. she cursed me out and told me she would get revenge and I did nothing!" she exclaimed

I stopped planting for a second, "really?"

"Yeah! She even told me to stay a distance cause she couldn't trust you around me.."

Michonne... Can't trust me?

I got up and threw off my gloves,
"I'll see you later," I said
I was going to give Michonne a piece of my mind.. I am faithful!

I turned and tried to storm off but Jolene pulled me back.
"Hey. Cool off. You can come to my house if you want, for a while..  Just don't take your anger out on her."
She offered

I held my head down and thought for a second.

"Fine." I said

She smiled and nodded, "let's go."

At Jolene's house, I sat on her chair with my hands under my chin.
Michonne...how could she say that?
Jolene joined me with two glasses of red wine in her hand,
She handed one to me and watched me gulp it down in a swallow and for some reason she giggled.

"What?" I asked

"Nothing.. Nothing."

She crossed her legs and bit her lip at me.

My vision began getting blurry, and as I tried to speak,  my words slurred and I sounded like I was speaking jibberish.

She began taking off her shirt and smiled at me, "Enjoy your ride." she giggled.

I tried to get up and get out because I wasn't supposed to be here but when I got up I fell back down. I didn't know what she was going to do to me but right then and there I knew that she spiked my drink.
