Girl #3 •Wind•

Cassidy Jackson skipped away from the gruesome scene. She hummed softly to 'Wolf In Sheep's Clothing' by Set! It Off. Cassidy smiled, seeing the boy she was crushing on waiting for her.

Yurince leaned against the truck with blood red roses in his hands. Their color matched the recent bloodstains on Cassidy's shirt. It was obvious she had just taken another innocent person's life.

"Why hello there, lovely Miss. Jackson. I brought you some extra clothes. Thought you might need some." Yurince grinned and tossed a crop top and volleyball shorts at Cassidy, along with her favourite shoes.

Cassidy rolled her eyes and easily caught the thrown stuff. She quickly changed and threw the soiled clothes at Yurince, who ducked. "You stupid boy. I told you I would be fine. I want them to catch me." She scoffed and hopped into the truck. "Wait a second..."

Before she could even speak, Yurince had hopped in and pushed the gas pedal down.

"YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE!!!!" Cassidy screamed and huddled against her seat. Yurince laughed, and shrugged a bit. "Yeah, so what? You aren't the only lawbreaker." At his words, Cassidy kept screaming.

"WE ARE GOING TO DIE!" She gripped her support like her life depended on it. And as of now, with Yurince driving, her life did depends on it. Yurince sighed and pulled over. "Then why don't you drive? You have a license." Cassidy nodded, staying quiet. She slid over onto the driver's seat and started the truck up.

"I'm going to drive you home, then I'll walk from there." She told Yurince. He nodded, and slid into the passenger's seat. The drive home was quiet, with Cassidy gripping the steering wheel tightly. While she drive, flashbacks popped up into her head. She grit her teeth as the most painful flashback popped up.

•Flashback•
"Cassidy! Cassidy! Run! Go get help!" Her mother screamed. The woman's lower half was pinned under the car. Her step father and step brother were unconsciously pinned in the car, which hung over a cliff. Only a tree's branch held them up. Cassidy had been able to squirm out, since she was only 5. Cassidy stood there confused as why her mom was screaming and crying.

And then she saw the blood.

It stood out against the pale white snow of December. December 23. 2 days before Christmas. The blood pooled around her mothers arms, and the car tittered closer and closer to the edge.

The little girl stuck her hand out and gripped onto her mothers. Cassidy tried pulling her mother out, but she was too weak. She watched helplessly as her father and brother go over the edge first. Then her mother's hand was yanked out of Cassidy's own hand.

Little Cassidy watched as the car tipped over the edge, taking her mother, her father, and her brother with it. Sirens were heard, and a firefighter scrambled down the cliff. He scooped up a shivering, crying, and scraped up Cassidy, looking for where she had come from. When he saw the car tracks, he understood.

"Shh... It's alright little girl... You're mommy and daddy will be back... They're just swimming..." He tried to assure her. But Cassidy shook her head. "No. Mommy and daddy and Eric are dead. I watched them die. Mommy was holding my hand."

Cassidy lost everything that day. She lost everything 2 days before Christmas. The Firefighter, taking Pity on her, adopted her and bright her into his warm and comfortable house.

And that's when the murders started. He was the first victim.
•End of Flashback•

Cassidy shook her head and focused on the road. She pulled into Yurince's driveway, and shut the truck off. They both hopped out. Yurince bid her goodnight, and she headed home while he went inside.

Cassidy walked home, taking an alleyway shortcut. A sudden, huge gust of wind pushed her against a wall. She tried struggling, but it had her pinned. The wind whispered gently in her ear. "Follow.. Me... I'll guide you... Along with... The others..."

Cassidy shook with fear. This was not normal. The wind should not be able to pin her down. She shook her head. "O-okay... I'll follow you-! Just unpin me!" The wind softened its load on Cassidy, and resorted to gently blowing towards the north.

The Old Cathedral, Cassidy thought with a start. The place had many stories about it. Supposedly, shrieks and screams could be heard from it every night. Why would the wind want me to go to an old rickety Cathedral? The place is abandoned, a story for elders to scare their children with.

Cassidy shook her head once again and briskly walked towards the Old Cathedral.

This is a bad idea. Or a trap. Why am I doing this?
