"Am I the only one who thinks this completely sucks?" Alana complained as she stood in the girl's bathroom of a school. Just her luck to be assigned to a school. Everyone had been assigned to different places, except her and LuLu were paired up. Alana fixed her makeup, adjusting the earpiece in her, well, ear.

"And here I thought you liked school." LuLu cracked up. She applied blush to her cheeks then clicked the earpiece. "Anyone have eyes on their 'Beast yet?"

"N-no.." Cassidy said, shaking from the cold. She had been placed in a cold mountain range. It was freezing. She huddled up in her parka and blankets.

"Sadly, no." Isabella replied. She had been put in a desert region. It was actually comforting to her. Her home was Egypt anyways.

"Nada." Alice murmured. She uncomfortably handed out free fliers. She had been assigned to a small village, one that was frequently attacked. She looked around, and saw something flash. "Hold on, I might have seen-" 

A roar cut off her sentence as she ducked to avoid getting a claw ripping her body to shreds. "Ack! Found mine!" She rolled as the clawed foot swiped again. The worm like Elderbeast roared as tentacles escaped from its mouth. Alice screamed as one wrapped around her waist. 'The aquamarine' she thought, pulling out the blue stone that represented water. It quickly transformed into a weapon that could defeat this Elderbeast.

"A... Spoon?" Alice hissed, as it changed again. This time into a longer than normal dagger. "Better, now let's send you back to your home!" She smiled and as she got pulled towards the creatures mouth, she stabbed the dagger into it's throat, where all the tentacles were. The one holding her went slack and she fell.

She didn't see the tail until it hit her. Literally. She got knocked to the ground, her wind getting forcefully pushed from her diaphragm. She hacked, breathing unevenly. But she jumped back up, and got into a defensive position. She had gotten up just in time to a live being sent flying.

Alice yelled into her earpiece, "Backup needed!" She raced to get her dagger, but the worm creature grabbed it and swallowed it. "Oh I'm so screwed." She paled. But this wouldn't be the end. She ran up to the Elderbeast, jumping onto its tail. She clung onto it while climbing up. The worm squirmed and shook hard, trying to get her off. But her nails dug into its flesh as she climbed. Once she reached the flinging head, she started gripping her legs right around its neck.

When Alice finally squeezed hard enough, the worm coughed up her sword. She flipped off its head and landed on her feet. *"Time to swing and sting! ElderBeast, prepare to be silenced! Return to your form now, or face obliteration!"*

The Elderbeast roared loudly. It started to shrink, wriggling and it fell onto its side. The worm shrunk into a small human boy, who looked up at Alice with his big green, doe eyes. "Please don't hurt me!" He cried, hugging himself. Alice crouched down, her dagger turning back into a stone and evaporating. "Hey, I won't. But I'll need you to tell me everything."

Some time later, back at the HQ

"Guys, we have a big problem." Alice said, barging in to see her fellow hunters around a table. "And her name is Carina."
