Cassidy POV
I trotted into the cathedral. I could hear voices whispering. So I climbed the stairs cautiously, afraid of what was waiting for me. I pulled my dagger out once the voices were just past a door. I opened the door and screamed as I faced four girls. "What the hell? Alana? Iśabella? LuLu? And who the hell are you?" I looked at the last girl, who had broken hearts on her cheeks. My heart skipped a beat. "S-Star?"

The girl shook her head furiously and blushed. "I'M NOT STAR!" Sensing she was upset, I stepped back. "Sorry. Sorry. I didn't know."

Alana POV
I looked around and my gaze fixed on Cassidy. "You.. " We glared at each other. Seems she forgot about the incident. Where she tried to kill me. Yeah. Great friendship. I sighed. "Does anyone know why we are here? Alice? No? Iśabella? No?!" Before I could finish, the room shook.

I screamed. "It was a trap! The building is collapsing!" I reached for the door but it disappeared. In fact, everything did. We were in a room made of purple with blue swirls.

3rd POV

All the girls looked around in a amazement. The room was beautiful. Then they all noticed with great alarm they stood on platforms, which held great symbols. The symbols were the elements that appeared in front of the girls. LuLu stood on a platform that had the symbol of broken glass.

Then they noticed one person was missing. "Huh? Who could that be? Lightning.. For who.. " Suddenly, the room light up. A girl swirled in the middle.

"Congratulations on finding me. I'm Eleanor Hayes. Mother of Evelyn. Founder of Project ELDERBEAST. You know, before it all went wrong. Before our subjects experienced corruption. If you hear me, that means I've been killed. Am I right?"

Cassidy looked at the serene woman and nodded. "Yeah, Ms. Hayes. Your Fiance killed you." LuLu must stared in amazement.

"Grandma?"

Her eyes widened as Eleanor chuckled. "Yes, my dear. Good to finally see you. But we must get to business. Before more people die. "

"But Grandma.. What do you mean, before more people die?"

Cassidy put a hand on LuLu's shoulder. "Luc... Evelyn is gone.. So is Nico.. They died. Died protecting you. " LuLu stumbled back. "What? No!"

"LISTEN!" Eleanor snapped sharply. Her face was strict. "I have assembled You here to carry on the mission. I need you to seek out all the Elderbeasts. Kill them. Or at least turn them back into actual people. You see, they are capable of returning to their former state of mind. But if that fails.. You must kill them, before they kill you. "

All of the girls except Eleanor nodded. Iśabella stepped up. "Question.. Who is the last element for?" Eleanor shook her head. "You will know. In time. But for now, stay in the present. We need to help people. I will guide you, so don't be afraid, little ones."
